After my 3 years in this school , I became a fountain full of knowledge due to the extraordinary amount of attention and support my teachers had provided me, I got to grow immensely as a scholar in my chosen electives due to the mutual hard work me and my teachers had put in! I passed with straight A’s and got high scores on my FAST test! Without a doubt this school helped me grow as student and most certainly will for any other child who is willing to be successful and have a bright future!

As a student who attended Hialeah Gardens Middle School from 2021-2024 6-8th grade I could say this is the best middle school in Miami-Dade County. Kids at this school are excited to attend and interested in learning. All the teachers with no exception are supportive, respectful, and engaging with the students as well with their parents always trying their best for students to learn. This school offers many emotional and social support help options they often make presentations and make kids going through a hard time want to seek help and open to therapists and councilors. As for special education there will always be instructors who are going to help special needs kids thrive and grow among them selves. This school deserves a trophy for safety there are security guards all day all around campus distributed through out the school, including bathrooms, water fountains, and cafeteria. There is also an amazing police team doing their best to protect all students and staffs. In my experience this school is a very welcoming for parents and families engaging with them if they have any questions or worries. The school also plans lots of family nights and activities for the Jaguar Family can go and enjoy!!! I would also want to adres bullying and just wanted to put in here that this is the friendliest school there is. Everyone here is respectful to each other and accepts everybody's differences. Now that is all said I strongly recommend this school.

As a student it has been very amazing for me. It is my 3rd almost 4th year in this school and i am extremely happy. The principal is an extremely nice person who is understanding and very engaged with us. It has many fun and student included events. I used to go to a school Milam K-8 center because all y family had went there even my mom and her siblings and my grandma worked there. by 3rd grade the school went down after covid. The staff and principal just stopped caring/was tired of her job and many staff retired and were not replaced. My final straw was when i was bullied to the point of depression and attempted suicided. Once my mom found out she told my teachers and principals which did nothing. I then moved to Hialeah gardens elementary and later on Hialeah gardens middle school. It was like an immense breath of fresh air. I never cared to but any effort into academic matters because in Milam it wasn't a priority. The only priority's for students were drama, vapes, sex, etc. I never felt challenged so i never tried. Once i changed schools i was immediately challenged so i tried and now i get honor roll every semester and get A'S and B's even straight A's. Now my grades are my top priority and i take pride. Being cool or troubled isn't a worry or necessity to get friends in this school. Everybody is welcoming and people who aren't just don't get interacted with. Bullying/ bad behavior is not tolerated at all. I am extremely grateful for this school.

This is my Child's 2nd Year now a 7th grader. All I have to say is Be extremely aware of what is going on in the school if I am not on top of my child constantly asking questions , things going on daily, I would be out of the loop. It's extremely important to MONITOR their cellphone if you don't you will regret it and find out things to late! YES! Sit and search their phone you will be shocked at what goes on. I want to list everything I have discovered BUT I won't Instead I want parents to Open their eyes and Be extremely involved before it's to late to help and guide your child. Front office Administration Horrible!!

This school is fake in every way. The administrators are annoying, can't stand them. You're looking at a school who cares more about uniform than academic matters :), hence the falseness, trying to look good when they aren't. The counselors are so useless.

Great School! Teachers, principal and office staff are always available. My son is in his 8th grade now and likes it a lot.

Best Principal Ms Jimenez!. Very involved with the kids. Mr. Gonzalez is awesome handling parent-teacher situations. Very blessed to belong to that school.

The school is a good school, but one thing I don't like. Every 9 weeks they have a little ceremony and the kids get a certificate for being on the honors roll. Sometimes, the principal decide that she don't want to give your child a certificate for that 9 week so every year your child will be missing a certificate if he/she are on the honor roll all year. This really makes the kids feel like they don't matter, I can understand if something happens and they don t have time for a ceremony. The principal should still hand out the certificate so the kids feel like they matter. And the last 9 week they don't give out any certificates to the kids that have received regular and superior honor roll just the presidential kids get a Metals. If your child really feel good about all the certificate he/she receives and treasure them they will definitely be missing certificates so be prepare. It is also hard to get anybody in the office the phone will ring and ring and you will have to call numbers of time before anybody will pickup.

This school in a overall rating is satisfactory. This was my son's first year in this school and he had a hard time with staff and teachers. Once the teachers got to know him, then both were at ease but it took almost all year. Now the Social Study teacher, Ms. Patricia Willis, was very rude and uncopperative with my sons and me when it came to his school work and exam. She didn't return my calls and when she did, was two to three days later; it seems as if she didn't want to be bothered. The rest of the teachers were cooperative and willing to put the effort and help me towards my son's education. Now, the school staff will notify me of any report when it was already too late to resolve. They would blame it on the budget cuts and the teacher union regulations. My child is only 12 years old and still under my care; he is not an adult to make his own decisions. I definitely had a difficult time at this school and specially with Ms Willis.
