Easily one of the best schools in the area. The teachers care about your kids, the administration is top shelf. We are new to the other after 1.5 years I am over the moon with this school

Need more teachers that are willing to see a child that is struggling and take them under their wing to get them motivated again. Hard to do with so many burnt out teachers dealing with such political nonsense, but there are some kids that just need a light to help them along again when they fall to the side.

Some teachers can be very helpful, but then there are some that just do not go that extra mile to help kids that really need positive encouragement to get them going. Yes, a lot of work. But sometimes it’s the teacher that makes the difference in a child’s life. No one stepped up.

When Mr. Hines became principal in 1999, less than 10% of the graduating class met the qualifications to be an honor graduate. This year, 50% of our graduating class is an honor grad.

In 1999, less than 35 % of RHS graduates planned to attend school beyond high school. We now have over 76% who will attend a post secondary institution.

In 1999, not one student was graduating with an international diploma and this year, 38 have already received it and 170 are on track to receive it this summer.

In 1999, less than 5% of our students were taking any dual enrollment classes, today 13% are involved in some form of dual enrollment.

In 1999, Rockledge High School was a C high school as ranked by the Florida Accountability grading system. Under Mr. Hines leadership, we have become an A high school and we were recognized as a “Turn Around School” in 2007.

We are one of only 20 International Cambridge Fellowship Centers in the world and a model school of professional development for Cambridge International.

We graduated two kids from this school, both honor roll, both going to Universities. Amazing school and staff! Looking forward to my third child attending.

The school overall performance is really lacking. Due to district cutbacks. The school has lost a lot of programs, and will continue on this path to spire fall. The Administration is a joke, what kind of school needs a dean? A college does, not a high school. I find it very lazy of the school that has to hire a dean for discipline problems a waste of tax payers money, especially for a dean that's really ignorant and really rude. Most of the high school teachers can't teach properly. School rating is an A based upon Cambridge program mostly because the school provides free transportation for students from all other cities in the county and enroll students into the high school. Basically bring more smart kids into the school from other areas, instead of it's own area. Improvement is needed to be seek, not impressed.
