This school is troubling. I would not recommend it at all and I don’t think they have the resources to provide these kids with a good environment.

I have 2 children in this school. I love the Duo program and the way the teachers engage with the students. For my other child sadly things are not as great. Teachers my child has had for two consecutive years don’t communicate or engage with parents. I don’t see motivation or support. The principal and assistant principal are awesome. Communication is an important part of success and this school lacks communication between each other, students and parents.

We were only at this school for a little over 2 months before moving to our house in another city. I really wished we could have stayed here because the teachers and staff were so kind and amazing. My daughter was in kindergarten and she loved it there ... she would wake up on her own to go to school. And she learned alot and her handwritting imporved so much. She also made friends and just seemed like a happier kid, then the school she is at now. Reddick is an amazing school! Teachers were the best! They did so many fun things with learning. I miss this place!

I’m proud to be teaching at a school that values diversity and doesn’t give up on students. Students’ needs are a priority and it shows. This past school year we have been nominated as a B school. That’s progress and such a proud achievement!

As a mom my son was in Reddick Elementary since Second Grade . I feel happy to see his improvement day by day . They have an amazing staff!
As a Teacher I can see everyday how students challenge themselves to do better. We are. Family and we celebrate every achievement, each point count !!!! Now with the Dual Language program students have the opportunity to learn how to write and read in Spanish and English . This is just amazing , their data is incredible !

I completely recommend this school

My child received a stellar education at Reddick. The teachers work their tails off to push these students to the next level! Every educator there is working for the student and the kids are pushing themselves to excel.

My son attends the Dual Language program at Reddick Elementary, he is learning in English and Spanish. In kindergarten he struggled with reading a little but in First grade the teachers helped him a lot and he is now starting 2nd grade On level and reading in TWO languages! He LOVES the school and going to the many family nights they have. The teachers are great with communication, our experience has been amazing.

My daughter had a very positive experience at Reddick from VPK-3rd grade. They have an excellent gifted program and she really like going to school. Her teachers were very responsive to requests and we always had positive interactions. 5 stars easy! I hear they were just rated a B school and I can see why. This is a great place And I feel like my daughter is challenged and loved.

My son is advanced in most of academics and his teachers never pushed him more or provided me more options to help push him further. His class consists of 35 kids shoved in one small classroom with almost not none individual care.

They don’t even have a full PTA in place. There not many parent school events and the staff is so rude it’s unbelievable! I’ve never even meet the principal. He seems very uninvolved and absent and it reflects in his staff.

This school is very Unprofessional principal never has time to meet with parents, teachers to busy to help students when asked instead there on there phones. Front associates very rude don't know how to speak with respect. School district should go and shape that school up. Everyone should want to be working there for the students not just for a paycheck is that not the reason they became teachers to begin with.

The HOST program is very bad. If I had another avenue to take instead of having him attend, I would but his mother and I both work long hours. We have complained many times of another kid bullying him but they accuse my nephew and he comes home crying saying that he was scared and stayed quiet while they were yelling at him. He also says that the teachers are away from the children when this takes place. Did I mention that he is 6? He also said that the teachers yell all of the time and say they're going to give him "pow pow" everytime he talks.

It is tough to put a good review in a limited allowment of words. I think they need a new AP! I think they need better teachers! I am enrolling my children into a charter school down the road so that I can guarentee better control of their learning environment. If you have no other option, then go here, but remain overly involved! If you want the best for your child, then look around for another school. Side note, some great teachers I have experienced are Mrs Gil, Mrs Simpson, and Mrs. Castillo...and all of their aides! Have them teach an inservice to other teachers!

My child goes here and he gets bullied in the lunch room a lot. The other kids pick on him, call him names, threaten him, etc. We've told his teacher and told the school over and over. They don't do anything about it, and seem to be on the bullies side. He is very upset, his grades have been slipping since the bullying started, and he's even having nightmares about it. We try to call the counselor or someone higher up and they NEVER return our calls. They seem very avoidant of the situation and keep accusing him of lying and threatening him into saying the bullying didn't happen. I will be sending him to a different school next year and would encourage parents to have their children avoid a school like this. It's terrible and the staff seem not to care about the kids.
