My child is in her second year at this school and she enjoys attending. The staff kept us very informed about how our child is doing each day at school. The teachers were very helpful assisting with potty training. My child has learned a great deal from this program.

This school is a real gem. The teachers and staff all truly care about the students. They create fun immersive learning activities for the children. It is not a revolving door of teachers so the kids have a chance to really connect with their teachers. That also allows the teachers to learn their students and the best way to guide them.

My daughter has formed close bonds with all of her teachers and is very excited to tell me about the creative lessons and things that she learned.

Majority of the teachers are lazy, the owner Ms. Rohini is rude and does not take responsibility for her staff but she will take your tuition money and remind you it's due on the 1st of each month.

Addressing a child too young for homework.
Posted: November 19, 2018
The teachers in the young children's room pay little to no attention to a child that doesn't follow their lead. I observed my 2.5 year old on numerous occasions being completely isolated and ignored.
Posted: November 19, 2018
The owner of the school is confrontational, unapologetic, disrespectful and just straight out rude. While addressing our younger child and our concerns with her treatment, the owner stated my husband was not telling the truth and aggressively told us we can take both of our children out. Unfortunately, as our older child is in Kindergarten, we couldn't just pull him out of school but he will not be returning the next school year.

My 2.5 year old has a speech delay due to hearing issues that have been corrected. They did not work with my child, instead they mistreated her and still collected tuition every month.

I do not know and have not observed this.

My son has not experienced any bullying at this school that I am aware of.
Posted: August 17, 2018
My son has attended this Montessori system since he was two, and he has thrived there. He is well ahead of his grade level in reading, writing, spelling and other subjects, and I believe he is getting a well-rounded education at this school from good teachers who care about the children.
Posted: August 17, 2018
Beginning in kindergarten, the children have weekly homework assignments as well as spelling words and reading at home.
Posted: August 17, 2018
Some are better than others, but most of the teachers we have encountered have been very caring and supportive of our child.
Posted: August 17, 2018
I can only observe my own child, but I think being at Montessori has taught him how to be a more independent thinker and take the initiative in his learning process.
Posted: August 17, 2018
There is always room for improvement, but overall we have had a very good experience at this school for our child.

Mrs Sarinette, Mrs Rohini, and Mrs Meagan are wonderful administrators that truly care about the students!

Without a doubt! Children are learning appropriate behavioral practices and strong morals.

The teachers are well trained and educated in both Montessori lessons and traditional educational techniques.

This school is amazing!! They teach children how to be independent and in charge of their learning experience while also taking guidance from teachers! Wonderful staff and an amazing learning environment for every type of student!

Ms. Rohini is an awful woman. They don't take the time to allow your child to get acclimated. They don't work with your children nor give them a chance. They expect your child to be robotic. Most staff is lazy and office people are just awful and don't care. This place only cares about making money. HORRIBLE.

I love the Riverview montessori school. I have a kindergartener and a soon to be 3 years old who loves it as well. My boys are happy with their teachers and feel safe at school. My oldest is making progress every day, academically and socially ( he is a very shy boy). Both my kids love the owner Ms. Rohini, my little one is enchanted with her. She has become part of our family in a blank of an eye. She is so kind and given, always attentive to my kids.

The Riverview Montessori School is truly a wonderful place to send your child to learn not only reading, writing, science, and math, but many unwritten lessons like friendship and philanthropy. The owner, Ms. Rohini, is an absolutely wonderful woman both inside and outside the classroom. As a teacher, she has given my daughter the comfort and support she needed to help with her separation-from-momma anxieties, and she is now well on her way as a young Montessorian. She and her staff have also helped my son reach an academic potential that has gained him admittance into a much sought-after Gifted Center for his post-Montessori years. More than academics, as parents, we want to know that when we drop our kids off that they will be loved and cared for as we would provide, and they provide such a warm and loving environment at this school. Thank you for being our second familyÂ…our Montessori Family!!!

The teaching staff is amazing, but the owner Rohini is so unprofessional and rude that we were forced to report the antics to the American Montessori Society. She will literally yell at parents. Stay away!

This school seems to allow kids to bully other kids I would never send my kids there!!!!

The Riverview Montessori School is a wonderful place of learning not only the fundamentals of math, language, science, and such but also the child's human potential. We have been so pleased with the progress and development - both academically and socially - that our daughter has made as a student at The Riverview Montessori School. Ms. Rohini and Ms. Angie provide a great sense of family, love, community, and leadership at the school. All the teachers are extremely professional, loving, and amazing with our child and all the children. We have been truly fortunate to have found such a wonderful atmosphere and environment for our daughter to spend her formative childhood years. We couldn't imagine sending her anywhere else. It is disturbing to see that people are only willing to take the time to write comments when they are unhappy about their own shortcomings and find fault else where ... SO, from two very happy and more than satisfied parents ... thank you Ms. Angie and the entire staff at Riverview Montessori for your love and dedication to the children in your care day in and day out!

What an incredible way to celebrate mothers on Mothers Day at The Riverview Montessori School. I loved all the beautiful handmade crafts that my child made. They were absolutely priceless. The "mom" interview brought me to tears. Thank you Ms. Angie and all the teachers for sharing your love and passion for teaching for my child! Happy Mothers Day to all the teachers at Riverview Montessori ... My child's "other" mothers!

I am not sure what school these people are referring to, but both of my daughters have attended Riverview Montessori and it is an excellent school. If it went through high school, I would keep my kids there through high school. Miss Angie and Miss Rohini both love the kids they teach and I would highly recommend the school to anyone.

Poor leadership, poor academia, every time I collected my daughter they were all watchingTV!!! No open class room.

We enrolled our 3 year old in their summer program in preparation of continuing in the fall. We signed a contract agreeing that we read the entire and manual and agreed to the 30 day probation period set aside for a "good fit". I made it very clear that our daughter was allergic to food coloring and it affects her behavior neurologically (wired behavior, insomnia, involuntary muscle twitches). She was consistently being fed food with dyes in it. Staying up until 1 and 2 am because of the reaction. I kept asking them what they were feeding them. I was assured it was the whole grain snacks. When I asked the assistants they informed me of blue sno-cones, tootsie rolls, lolly pops etc. I also questioned length of nap time since my child was not sleeping. I was told they watch 30 minutes of tv before nap and an hour or more if they don't nap. They were also watching non-educational films when I would pick her up in the afternoon (i.e. Shrek). When I shared my concern about the whole grain and nutritious diet that was not being followed and the tv habits that were not very Montessori let alone a total time of 3 hours a day that I counted. The owner's response was irrational.

As a previous teacher at this school, I would NEVER send my own children here. Turnover is a major problem. Some, not all, teachers are inconsistent and just seem lazy. The office side is a complete joke, and the owner is only worried about money and not about educating the children. I loved my lead teacher there to death, but after she left the whole school started to fall apart. A child facility should be about educating the young minds that we see every day. Not about giving them ditto s and busy work. RMS is just a fancy name to over charge parents... I would not recommend sending your children here.

My daughter has attended Riverview Montessori a year and a half. This is an excellent school! I feel RMS has provided an excellent foundation for my daughter to excel. The school administration is very helpful in every way to ensure a safe, constructive, and productive environment for learning. This is an awesome school! My daughter is only 4 and knows all her sounds and letters and beginning to blend letter sounds together to make words.

We attend this school as part of the VPK program and fond that a numbers of supervision problems existed. The staff became defense in my inquires and refused to allow an"open door policy" without making an appt in advance. My child was bitten, scratched and had her underwear pulled down. After the last incident I removed her. I also learned that they were not registered with the county for the 36 kids that they had in VPK and were only licensed for 12kids.

Both of my children attend RMS and we feel lucky to have such a high quality school in our area. We value education very highly and this school does an excellent job of exposing their students to more than your typical preschool cirriculum. They also do an excellent job of tayloring academia toward the needs of each and every child. It's a wonderful program and terrific school. We wouldn't send our children anywhere else because we only want the best for them.
