My daughter has been attending FBA for many years and has had a wonderful experience. She has gone through the EE program, lower school and is currently in middle school. Along the way, all teachers in all grades have been nothing but loving, nurturing, caring and have been focused on her growth and development. When asked if she would like to attend another school, the answer is always a definitive no! The environment at FBA is always positive and focused on the students. Teachers will do whatever it takes to help students succeed! We love FBA and highly encourage you to check it out!

Traumatic,horrible if you would like to introduce your child to self-hate ugliness in the world of people hating you because the color of your skin unfair treatment not being able to be given an equal opportunity to and chance to learn just like your peers then this will be to school for you.

My child was taught to fail . Literally the teacher made her erase her correct answers and mark wrong ones .

No way this school will cover up the bullying an if you take it the the principal good luck now you and your child will be bullied not to mention told to fail your child or leave the school .

Horrendous. I tell everyone I can. My son was 4 and scared when he started. They treated him like garbage. He went to another school and is thriving there. I'm ashamed to say I grew up at First Baptist and all my peers that did hate it or have completely renounced their faith because of it.

The school encourages characteristics of true leaders! They place the upmost importance on character development and leadership within the community. Every month the students are encouraged to participate in a community service project. This is such a refreshing approach to education!

My daughter is in her 2nd year at First Baptist Academy and we absolutely love the school. The school has provided such a wonderful experience for her education thus far. I LOVE that the students have a well rounded education that includes all of the academic courses, music, Spanish/Latin, technology, P.E., Bible and more.

I have three older children that all went through the public education system and although they all excelled academically, they did not receive the Christian backing and well-rounded approach to core subjects, arts and extracurriculars. Also, I truly appreciate the fact that the standardized testing is not the focus of teaching, but rather a benchmark used for the students. In contrast and from personal experience, testing has seemed to be more and more the focus of daily learning in the Public education sector. First Baptist focuses on the subject material at hand rather than placing such significance on a single test score.

I truly am so happy that I came across this school as I could not ask for a more positive experience for my daughter. They really do offer the full package in a very nurturing environment!

This is the best Christian school in the area.Mrs. Eden is an excellent teacher!

Loving, knowledgable and such a safe environment. What a wonderful school. The middle school is hands down the best. Both academically and socially. It is a vigorous workload but not overwhelming to the students. The teachers care about each student. The music program is great and band as well. The spiritual stays on the front always. We loved our 6 years at FBA!!!

This school is a gem in downtown Jacksonville. Fully accredited, high standardized test scores, solid biblical and college prep academic curriculum. My daughter has been there since it's first year and is doing amazing! Your child needs to be there. Currently Birth through 8th grade.
