I’ve had two children attend this school for the last two years, and they both come home everyday with smiles on their faces and an enthusiasm for learning. This is a nurturing environment for children and a remarkable staff that cares deeply my children’s well being both emotionally, physically and spiritually. I highly recommend any child ages k-12 to attend this school and I promise you that your children will thank you for the opportunity to attend this great school. As a Christian parent, I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the blessing that Father’s Harbor Academy has been in my child’s life. From the moment we joined this school family, it was evident that Christ is at the center of everything they do, and that makes all the difference.

The teachers here are truly walking in their calling. Their love for God shines through in the way they care for each child as a unique creation of the Lord. They take the time to nurture not just the minds of their students but their hearts and spirits as well. They see each child’s God-given potential and are committed to helping them grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

What I especially appreciate is how the teachers balance grace and accountability. The small class sizes and Christ-centered approach create a community where my child feels known, loved, and valued. They are not just learning facts—they are learning to live out their faith, build godly character, and honor the gifts the Lord has given them.

Father's Harbor Academy has been a life raft for my children. They are treated like family and taught in ways that are unique to how they learn. When I drop them off in the morning, I know that they are safe and loved. The staff takes their time with each student ensuring that they feel empowered about their learning. Each students strengths are celebrated and there are no weaknesses only a chance to grow.

If your child has ever been bullied by school adults and or children because they learn different, I encourage you to give Father's Harbor Academy a try. The gained self esteem and sense of value and worth is evident after even just one day here.

This staff cares about the children as human beings not as another task they have to complete.

My son attends, and has made excellent progress! He is in elementary school, and reads at high school level. He will NOT be attending elsewhere!

Homework is balanced, relevant and includes parental involvement. It is VERY much an asset to the long team success perspective in life!

Personal attention is given to all. Classes are small, so the school has a very positive "family atmosphere. " Teachers determine HOW each student learns BEST, and they reinforce that approach. Visuals, music, verbal commendation, tutorship are all inculcated into the learning agenda.

The school is small, not overcrowded, with sterling snd interesting classes. Security is a MAJOR priority.

Honestly my kids attended this school for a long time, it's always been very small and thru the years the good students have left because they have been enrolling students that are about to be kicked out of public school. Mental and behavior issues. It's great if you just want your child to graduate but they'll struggle in college. Sadly we are there with my oldest that graduated from there and had to pay a tutor to catch her up.
We really cared about the owners and that's why we stayed do long. After a bullying issue, the owner's husband told me to take my kids else where and then acted shocked when I did so.

No real homework. Not allot of actual work

Only the principal's husband actually watches the students. Other classes allow kids to sleep on the floor and call each other names. And allow bullying

Lots of bullying here and the students that bully are actual teaches aids and mentors. There are many suicidal students and many children with behavior issues

The students bully my son at school, on social media and on his phone. They make excuses for the bad behavior. (She's got a bad home life, he has this, etc)

I have had a very positive experience with this school! The classes are very small and students are given an opportunity to shine. I really like the Showcase events held a couple of times a year. There is a family type of vibe here and I think that is very important!

This school is wonderful. The teachers give one on one attention and you can tell that they care. There are plenty of electives to choose from(guitar,band,game coding, P.E....). The food is provided free of charge! It's great to have a school that teaches more than just lessons in their classroom. They teach our students Jesus.

My daughter was doing terrible in the public schools and then we took her here and it was a true blessing. The teachers actually take the time to teach and improve my child's learning skills. I highly recommend going here and taking a tour and putting your child in their care. - Bill Jones

I wouldn't let my daughter go here if it was free... not worth paying them thousands of dollars. My daughter watches non educational movies about 3 a week, no outside play ONLY for OLDER BOYS, the teaching I could do at home its all worksheets or sloppy hand made worksheets. The kids are bully's and extremely rude nothing is done about it!!! They have their "special" kids they love and favor those over others. The parking to get your child is annoying people park where ever they want and makes it hard to get your child. I could keep going... If you want your child not to be educated and just want a sitter then go ahead... if not PASS on this one!
