This charter school has unfortunately declined significantly in recent years. Enrollment appears to be dropping, and there is a noticeable lack of stability among staff, with a high turnover rate of teachers. Many staff members have left due to ongoing issues with the administrative team and the challenging student behavior, which makes it difficult to maintain consistency and a strong academic culture.

One of the most concerning issues is the focus of the administrative team. Rather than prioritizing a supportive, structured, and positive learning environment, there seems to be a stronger emphasis on fundraising and optics. This shift in priorities negatively impacts both staff morale and the overall student experience.

Student behavior is also a growing concern. There appears to be a lack of consistent discipline and accountability, contributing to an environment where disrespectful behavior is too often tolerated. This makes it especially difficult for students who genuinely want to learn to feel safe and supported.

There are also concerns about how funding and student support services are represented. A large portion of the student population appears to have IEPs or 504 plans, and the school receives additional funding tied to these designations. This raises questions about whether resources are being effectively used to provide the level of support these students need.

That said, there are still a few dedicated teachers who truly care about their students and go above and beyond. Unfortunately, they seem to operate quietly, likely due to limited support from administration.

Overall, the school has potential, but without stronger leadership, improved staff retention, and a renewed focus on student well-being, transparency, and academic standards, it will continue to struggle.

All teachers provided academic assistance when requested which propelled our son into a great college. I have nothing negative to say about this school.

Great environment for learning.love the staff and teachers they really care about the students education and well-being. So glad we picked this school.

I believe that this school was better when it was fully online, it helped so many children get to where they want to be & a lot of the students like my child did better online than having some classes face to face. If the school were to go back to fully online I would put 5 stars but since it is the way it is right now its a 4 star

This is a great place to be a student or a parent. The staff cares about the students.

This school is designed to teach the student to utilize various sources in his steps to learn. It would be very helpful to have other subjects offered - including sports, music and art.

Pivot Charter School is a great place to send your student if they are struggling for any reason in their current school. They really focus on individualized learning and helps each student get better in school, and as a person. I love this school!
