Not what We expected from a Montessori School. The worst experience as a family. My 4 years old boy has been attending Montessori Institute of Broward for only two weeks. After attending 3 wonderful years in Amherst Montessori School in Massachusetts, with not major issues.
We just moved to Florida and registered him in Montessori Institute of Broward, Since the first day, He complained about everything, but we considered it normal due to the transition he is going through but the worse happened in his second week of school.
Another boy from his classroom bit him in the playground and broke his skin on the chest, I picked him up and got home, when he changed his uniform I noticed it and ask him what happens? he was scary and didn't want to talk, he only said that another boy bit him in the school, I called the school and they didn't know about this incident happened. So, this tells with not doubts that the kids are not well supervised, And It tells how irresponsible and negligent they are. Not incident report so far but I will ask for it.
Unfortunately, complete lack of supervision. Not a safe place for children.

Bullying tends to occur in our world, unfortunately. It is not that in a particular school or another will not be episodes of bullying. The difference with this school is that teachers and leadership are attentive to what is going on and have ZERO tolerance policy that is enforced towards bullying. If there is an incident, they will take immediate action, talk to the children involved, find the learning opportunity in it and generate peace as the ultimate outcome. They are absolutely amazing.

This school adheres to Montessori methodology 100%, the work that children do in class, exploring, discovering and interacting with lessons and the prepared environment, is what the child needs to learn. Homework is not necessary and in many cases, is even damaging to the child to grow tired of endless repetition and unnecessary tasks that don't lead to higher learning and even worse, tend to damage the love for learning that is innate in the child.

Teachers at this school are highly trained in Montessori Methodology. Beyond that, they are truly happy to work there, they love the children and engage in active observation and passionate commitment to the development of the child.

Absolutely. The school follows Montessori methodology with absolute orthodoxy.

Leadership at this school is beyond effective. They are involved in every detail and observing of everything that goes on in the school, they are attentive if a parent, a child or a teacher need support, they are passionate for the children and committed to the school's objectives, they are loving, caring and professional.

I am grateful for having found this school and for having been allowed to belong to it. This school is a gift and a dream, a place for generating transformation in the world.

This school is amazing! It has been an academic eutopia for my children. Everything is perfect from the teachers being outstanding, caring, detailed, and educated individuals to the facility being gorgeous, clean, and full of sunlight. They are a true Montessori and I have seen how my children have thrived under this methodology. The administration is fantastic: detailed, organized, and kind. I honestly am so thankful to have found this school and that my children get to have this as there first educational experience.

I visited this school a few months ago and was not happy with what I saw. I am very glad I did not choose this school and picked another. I did not like the way the teachers were speaking to students. One was even yelling at a student. I didn't get a good vibe on my walk thru from the staff. I also didn't feel the kids that I saw were having fun or were comfortable at the school which made me not choose this school. Please look for yourself but I am sure you will see what I saw.

Teacher yelled at my 3 year old so much she didn't want to go to school. I had to ask for a change of classes and the owners accepted this was not the first complaint for this teacher. They didn't do anything about it. Complete lack of leadership.

We found in this school what we were looking for. Teachers are very professionals and it's a truly Montessori School. They treat our kid with love and take care of many details in their daily activities. I recommend this school for everybody.
