We have been at this school two years and absolutely love this school. Security is highly vigilant of who enters the campus, the teachers are very supportive and on top of our kids learning. My child has progressed a lot loves coming to hi school. I wish there was a high school option for this school.

All teachers are certified and highly qualified. Lesson plans follow the Florida standards and include many hands on activities and challenging projects that cater to the specific group of students. This is very different than what you would be doing at your regular public school.

The school hosts monthly character assemblies and discusses character education within the classroom. Classes nominate students who demonstrate various character traits where they are then awarded certificates at a quarterly awards ceremony.

The new principal has done a lot over the years to continually improve the school and staff. She knows all of the students by name and greets them each day.

Teachers are trained in differentiating within the classroom for varying levels of ability. School does RtI for students not meeting grade level expectations. There is also an ESE department that monitors students as well. Individual teachers conduct project based learning for gifted and high achievers. Older grade levels also have gifted and high achieving classes. Teachers also do a lot of small group instruction so it helps meet individual needs.

We love Imagine! Staff members are friendly and knowledgeable, very active PTO, and it is rated an A school. It is a small school so it feels like one big family!

My kids have been in this school for 5 years. The teachers are wonderful and are really dedicated to the students. It truly has a private school feel. The principal knows everyone's name and greets them every morning.

As far as I know, they follow standard Broward County procedures. But the middle school has a bullying program and they hosted an anti-bullying skit for the elementary students this year. My child loved it.

The staff and leadership have ways of catering to students' needs. They often reteach them in small groups or individually. The ESE teacher is constantly monitoring their progress to make sure they are receiving adequate attention and instruction.

While there will always be flaws (as with any administration), I have never been able to meet with leadership as quickly and easily as I can at this school.

They award students with character certificates on a monthly basis, and the middle school service club is always hosting a school-wide service project that all students are welcome to participate in.

The principal is nice but overwhelmed and under experienced and unfortunately this is evident when staff concerns brought up by parents are not addressed properly.
The 2nd in command, is not as friendly and even less attentive to parent concerns.

I was originally happy with the school but after the principal change and many subsequent staff turnovers, many flaws were exposed and left unresolved. The principal is a nice lady, but way in over her head.
There are a lot of staff members who think yelling is the way to deal with the kids.
While there is some staff who are helpful, the main contact at the front does not have the temperament to deal with parents or children. She is rude, un-friendly and defaults to yelling at children and parents when she becomes flustered. She is also in charge of running the aftercare dept.
There is no cafeteria so the kids eat in an overcrowded room and they refuse to hire the appropriate staff to monitor lunch. Understandably, monitoring so many children can be stressful but the 2 lunch ladies they have hired are overwhelmed and therefore take their frustrations out on the children in their daily yelling.
This unfairly stresses out the children in the very short time they have to eat.
I know of several parents who have been disappointed with the school and left. I will be following suit the next year.

This is an excellent school. The teachers work hard and truly care about the kids. It is a very small school so there's definitely not as much administrative support as you might find in a larger school... but instead you have an environment in which the principal knows every child and every parent by name. It is an "A" rated school. The families in general are great and very involved in the school. The office staff is very limited but I haven't experienced any problems. My children are thriving and love their teachers. When I ask other parents what their children are doing in the regular public schools it seems as academically they are up to par as everyone else. I personally feel my child is in a very safe environment and hope the school continues to grow.

Imagine has caring highly qualified teachers who love their students and treat their students as individuals with individual learning styles. You can tell the teachers plan to the different levels of the kids. The new principal is in her 2nd year and has a done great things for this school so far. I would highly recommend this school. We have been here since it opened 4 years ago and have seen it all- and it's all GREAT!

I am very disappointed with this school. There is a large turnover of teachers yearly. New teachers are brought in to chaos with little direction or lesson plans. Some teachers leave in the middle of the year and are replaced by morons. Some barely speak English. Movies are shown constantly in lieu of teaching valuable lessons. Middle school kids are rowdy and rambunctious and teachers let them stay out of control. Doubtful any of the middle school kids will make it to college on their current paths. Small environment, few choices for electives, sports, etc. and children are not supervised. Disorganized office and administration. We are not pleased and extremely disappointed with this school which seemed so perfect on the outside looking in. Stay in your public school for which you are zoned or go private. So many good families have left this school and it's a red flag. We do not recommend.

Imagine is a great school with strong academics. As compared to other public schools in the area, my child has more work and projects than his peer. It is a safe and nurturing environment and my child has done very well here academically. To the parents who have complained on here and pulled their children out of Imagine to attend a Davie middle school for which you are not zoned, shame on you. I certainly hope you will not be caught for fraud. The grass is not always greener.

The school is small, warm, a safe and nurturing environment. The academics are strong and I am pleased with the teachers and the lesson plans. I find the school a bit weak in organization, a lot of turn over in the staff, and new teachers. But, given the choice to attend our zoned middle school, I will gladly drop my child off here every morning. The kids are polite, kind and there is no bullying of any kind. That said, we are pleased with this school and the loving and kind teachers.

Great School! I really like the Summer Activities that the school provides to keep your child engaged in both Math and Reading throughout the summer. The office staff is very friendly and really care about the children at the school. We moved from a private school to this school and are very happy with the curriculum!!!

I am so disappointed with the school. Heard a lot of good things about it, was very excited to be part of this rated A school. Found out after registration closed that there is a new principal, the new principal is not able to take care of the school. Many parents complain about the school but they always let you feel that you are the only one who does. We all know the truth and I hope the management of the school will do something about it. Middle school function as extension to elementary instead of middle school. I don't understand how could they pick so inexperienced person to run this school?? Cannot recommend this school to any of my friends.

Very disappointing this year , the new principal is not able to take care of the school . I hear everyone complaining but nobody doing anything. How did Imagine head office pick someone so inexperienced and inappropriate for the job ? I really don't believe this school will be an A school this year .

We had the worst experience at this school. My child has a very mild physical disability. They did not follow the IEP at all. In fact they went out of their way to not provide the accommodations (such as lowering the desk and using the provided foot rest). They lied and said that this was being done, but I glanced in the classroom and the desk was not lowered and there was no footrest. When I asked why, they said that my child had destroyed the items. I doubt a small child could work a screwdriver to raise the desk. When we moved schools, the foot rest was in mint condition. My child was physically hurt by a teacher in an act of aggression and after the investigation showed that the series of events happened the way the child said it did, nothing was done. They only acted on any issue after we had to get school board involved. This child has been in another school for almost a year and has not had one disciplinary issue. The child could not work because the child was denied access to the tools needed to do work, as recommended by the OT. I hope that the new principal will improve this school for all children, including those with disabilities.
