Went here from 2-8th grade the teachers are somewhat nice. Some dont know how to teach, others are just mean for no reason. We has several principals across the years and the school had started to decline by 5th grade. As a somewhat regular kid I wouldn’t recommend telling your kid to come here unless you want them to only have good grades. The work is easy even in “advanced” classes however they do not prepare you for the reality of highschool. I am in 9th right now and “practice” and “mastery” assignments aren’t even a thing. The only thing they care about is testing. The school lunch got worse and worse over the years. People straight up get bullied sometimes. I have firsthand experience because i got bullied when i first came to the school. But other than that its an alright school i wouldn’t recommend it unless you just want to have your child have the label as the “good kid” or “straight A student”. It doesn’t prepare for the future.

This school will tolerate bullying and it sucks, many kids are suicidal because of this. The teachers are honestly terrible, it's like they were picked out last minute. They do not care about you or your mental health. The staff is rude, sarcastic, and only care about money. The kids are just a decoration on a Christmas tree, a very rotten Christmas tree..DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!

My children went to this school for 3 years. My son for middle and my daughter for elementary. When my son left after 8th grade, we've decided to also transfer my daughter out for middle school. When my kids started the first year, the principal left half way and a temp principal was in place. The assistant principal was also new at the time. A permanent principal was in place for the last 2 years my kids attended. Recently that same assistant principal got promoted to principal at another school (she was also there for 3 years). I will say she had been very accommodating to us with regards to class schedules and concerns and I wish her well. This school doesn't have many students (only a few hundred) and the classroom space are much smaller than a typical Broward county public school classroom. I feel the kids barely have any room to move around in the classroom. This school does NOT have a specific gifted program and they don't test for gifted (administration has said they don't have enough gifted students to do a gifted specific class for them). This is one of the reasons why I decided to transfer my daughter out to regular public school so that she can be with more gifted peers. In the "high achievers" class in elementary, the kids all say it's "embarrassing" to get B's. There are no science fair projects assigned but they do smaller projects from time to time (both at home and at school). The middle school electives are very slim picking (only about 7-8 or so, definitely no shop class, but there is art, theater, music, engineering/robotics, entrepreneurship, PE). They follow the Cambridge program so no block scheduling but all middle school ELA and Honors classes are two periods long. They accommodate everyone with extra time to take tests or state exams (allowed to finish the next day) and do not penalize for turning in any late assignments (I was told by a teacher the school specifically told all teachers don't penalize for late work, not sure if this will change in the future). All kids in elementary have 2 teachers that they switch between everyday (one teaches math and science, the other teaches ELA and history). I will say please visit the school first-hand before accepting a seat.

Great experience for my kids and we the parents, since K-8. We recommend this school.

The staff and administration has changed so much but overall I see a huge decline in the way they treat the students. Getting more and more biased every day. The children whose parents work at the school get special treatment and it's sickening to watch some of these teachers bully children.

Mi hija actualmente está recibiendo buying en esta escuela, he denunciado en varias oportunidades la situación, sin embargo no hacen nada para evitarlo, mi hija no recibe el apoyo emocional que necesita, ella ya no quiere asistir a ese colegio.
Estoy en proceso de cambiarla de colegio inmediatamente.

My daughter is currently receiving purchases at this school, I have reported the situation on several occasions, however they do nothing to prevent it, my daughter does not receive the emotional support she needs, she no longer wants to attend that school.
I am in the process of changing her school immediately.

Mi hija asiste a esta escuela desde kindergarten, cada año todo el staff absolutamente todo el staff trabaja en mejorar la experiencia tanto para nuestros hijos como para los padres, en mejorar el feedback y las actividades. Cómo en tooooodas partes hay maestros muy buenos y otros no tan buenos. Pero siempre escuchan la opinión de los padres y trabajan en mejorar. Definitivamente el menú de school lunch horrible! Pero seria mucho pedir comida orgánica y saludable en un menú escolar, así que por eso nos encargamos que mi hija lleve su comida hecha en casa. No es motivo para bajar el rating de esta escuela que día a día trabaja en mejorar la experiencia de nuestros hijos

This is my daughters first year at Renaissance Charter School at Cooper City. We love it. The teachers and staff are very friendly and helpful. The parents are also very involved. Highly recommended.

Love this school, My kids have been in Renaissance for 4 years and they are happy there, great teachers, friendly staff and safe building. During this crazy time with this pandemic they are safe and follow social distancing. I had a choice to keep my kids online or do in person.

My son started attending this school in kindergarten and is now in 6th grade. I haven't had any major issues with the school or the teachers/staff. The office staff is very friendly and knows everyone by name. The school does a great job creating fun events for students and families to attend. My son has always been challenged academically, and I find the teachers always go above and beyond what's required in order to help their students succeed.

My experience at this school has been good. Although no school is perfect I’ve experienced the staff continuously trying to improve, which is what truly matters. Every year there is more school activities and events that my children and I can be a part of. My children are learning and challenged. They get to play multiple sports and be in several clubs throughout the year. I feel comfortable communicating with teachers, administration and staff. Most importantly they continue to improve both academically and as a school and that’s all I can ask for.

The administration is usually not very helpful. They have misplaced money on 2 separate occasions and have been rude about it both times as if losing the money was our fault. The teachers are great which is the most important thing, but the office needs a serious overhaul; from the head office to the cafeteria.

When my daughter was first enrolled, I was overwhelmed by how large the school was and I worried that she'd get lost. My fears were totally relieved after her first week. Everyone I met was kind, welcoming, and supportive. The work load is intense - even in the elementary grades - and you will have to put in about 30 mins to an hour most nights but my daughter is reading at a fourth grade level in 2nd grade. She also loves math and wants to keep learning, which is the best I could ask for from her education. The teachers I've met with for conferences have been very available and helpful with what we needed to work on with my daughter at home. I have met the principal (Mr. Goldberg) several times and sometimes he's even doing car line.

You will have to be involved, both in volunteer hours and with your child's coursework. I do not have any experience with their ESE services or accommodations so I can't speak to that. I won't say this school is for everyone but it is the perfect school for us.

We have been with the school since it opened. I believe my kids have been taught very well. I believe they are smarter and more prepared as a result of this school. Over the years I had minor issues but, these issues were always resolved immediately with no push back which I respect. I always reccomend RCSCC to strangers and friends. I just wish the school went thru 12th grade, I can only wish.

When my child was hit he was told they couldn't do anything because they didn't see it. When he went to the principal to tell that he was hit on another occasion, and he admitted to defending himself this time, he was told he wouldn't be allowed to go to the bathroom alone again and threatened with expulsion. I had encouraged him to talk to his teachers and the principal about the situation and both times I regretted it. Technically they responded but not in a way that solved the problem, made him feel safe, or was helpful. In the end he just felt like no one cared about him and more threatened. I also overheard a few students over the year talking to their parents and the aftercare program director about the staff members calling them names and throwing balls at them.

I'm not sure why so many members of staff at this school are so miserable but it is apparent in so much of their conversation and attitude. They have taught me that being an "A" school does not make it a great one. I am so tired of condescending attitudes, sarcasm, and just outright rudeness from the staff here. I can only assume that their support and work environment is horrible if they are to the point of having an attitude when you ask how to get volunteer hours or what to help your child study with. The after care program is out of control and throughout the year I heard many students complaining about the staff bullying them by throwing balls at them and calling them names. I had to have a serious conversation with the director in which a counselor admitted to calling my child a punk for crying when he hurt himself. I had to talk to the principal about teachers yelling at my child and calling him names. I had to calm down the volunteer coordinator (who took weeks to return my calls) when she jumped down my throat as I was asking about how the volunteer hours could be received. My child got hit in the bathroom by an older student and the teacher said 'she couldn't do anything about it' because she didn't see it. The entire year I heard complaints about behaviors ranging from talking to COUGHING too much but only TWO about his grades and NONE about what reading and math strategies he needs help with. I work at a school and it absolutely baffles me as to why they think communicating to parents (and in some cases students) the way that they do is acceptable. Or maybe it's just the staff members that I've been unfortunate enough to encounter this year. I can say the parents here obviously are invested and care about their children's success. I believe that's why this school is an "A" school. They ARE pushed to academic success (with threats of failure and punishment) but if you are looking for a place that cares about your child as a person OR a place that values your time and shows you the respect you would expect from any institution I would go elsewhere.

This school is terrible including the principal. It's run like an institution and is strictly a business. They don't care about the kids and the principal (Delgado) is very unprofessional and stuck up. If your child has special needs run far away. They don't have the resources and they do not share the same concern as the parents. They will offer extended day as if the regular school day isn't already long enough. And they will pull your child out of art, music and pe for even more tutoring. It's a jail for the children and they took the fun out of learning. The test results are great but that is all they care about. Everything is about testing and more testing. Kids need to be kids and that is impossible at this school. Don't stress your kids out like I did. Worst mistake I ever made.

My child just completed second grade at this school We relocated from another state where my daughter was doing exceptionally well. I was a bit concerned when we relocated but after this school year I am proud to say that Renaissance has not let me down. My daughters teacher was so thorough. She communicate with the parents on a daily basis. She sent pics of the children while they were working and even emailed us during holidays to make sure we were keeping our kids on track with the work. I cannot thank her enough. They provide access to exceptional education. I love Renaissance for my daughter. The kids there are performing in the 90th percentile which is awesome. Ranked one on the best in that area. Love It!

Do not send your child to this school. They have no control over the car line because they cannot afford to hire more sheriffs. They do not seen to care if other parents cut through parking lots or the line. Your time means nothing to them. When you try to talk to someone at the school about this issue, they just smirk and shrug they shoulders.

I have my kids in this school the teachers seem to be great the only thing i have a problem with is the teachers communicating with me when I send a note or emails. They do send home a once a week newsletter with the homework and what the kids are doing that week but besides that I find that my notes and emails are rarely if ever return. Also the ESE teacher seems to be missing in action most of the time. I've had to chase her around to try and get an appointment with her for a meeting and still did not get one until the teacher requested it to update my child's accommodation plan which was a very minimal meeting and my child's teacher(s) did not even know about the accommodation plan or my childs special needs until I notified her because the ESE teacher doesn't seem to notify the teachers if there are special needs children in their classes at the beginning of the years.

Dismissal is a total disaster! It takes from 30 to 45 minutes to get your child. And mayor traffic issues in the streets while in the line. Administration does not really care.

My child started attending RCSCC since third grade and she is now in sixth grade. There are many dedicated teachers at RCSCC and the data speaks of their effort and dedication. However, they employ a high number of beginning teachers who are as immature as the kids. The lines for arrival and dismissal are a passage to inferno. Aftercare staff has to be better trained in dealing with children and parents. There is no an open - door policy. If there is a conflict speaking to an Administrator can become a challenge. They only give you limited information when a conflict arises. They really need to change administration.

This is my kids first year here. I have one in kindergarten and one in third grade. As of now they both love it,as long as they are happy so am I.. I'll keep you all informed. The staff seem friendly I have talked to a couple of them and I haven't had a problem yet.

The school has gone down hill since the previous principal left to start up a new charter school in Pembroke Pines
It's unfair to the children how they are being treated like little robots, in the elementary they sit boy girl boy girl at lunch but when they are in middle school and can sit by assigned class only they a segregates to girls one side and boys other. They make the rules up as they decide it suits there needs. I asked why does the 8th graders have to walk on one side of the hallways while the 6th and 7th graders do not it was for there own protection. Protection from what!!! Same as when I asked why girls can't wear head bands, Her teacher said it's the rules read the hand book. I was apaulled when my daughters friend who is African American was pulled aside from admin and was told she cannot have poofy hair. I can't exactly say that is a racist comment but I think that was uncalled for. Please bring back Mr. Verdier and make this the school it once was before.

My child is in the middle school here, I think that they treat the middle schools kids like they're in second grade, they let them out in sessions like their in kindergarten in their five years old, public elementary schools don't even do that, if school gets out at 2 o'clock all the kids leave at 2 o'clock, it literally takes this school over one hour for dismissal.. So if you like sitting in Carline be my guest get in line early, because the line is long, or be the last one in the Carline so you only have to sit in it for 15 minutes and now your child is sitting in school for 45 minutes to an hour waiting for you to pick him or her up. And they are hungry because I ate lunch at 10:30 in the morning and now it's 330 and they're waiting for you to pick them up. My daughter is going into high school next year and she is going to be very shellshocked when she gets there I agree with the other parent that the school is a dictatorship that is exactly what it is. And a turnover rate for teachers in the school is very high, the first year they were open they fired every six grade teacher at the end of the year on the last day of school...

I feel this school has not mentally prepared my child for high school, my child is in 8th grade and they have to sit in the hallway before school starts and after school and read a book, they can use the school issued nooks but cell phones and electronic divices are prohibited ,dismissal is at 3:15 but they don't let the walkers out until 3:45 when carline is gone sometimes 4:00 and when I text is everything ok she texts back and gets her phone taken away , 8th graders are not allowed to wear make up and the lunch room the only time they have in the day has to be at a quite level. I understand rules have to be set for the elementary side but to forbid cell phones on a overnight school trip to universal is just plain taking too much control. I was told to call the assigned chaperone for when they arrived safely and if they want to take a picture bring a camera but students will not be allowed on the bus with a cell phone. I feel they took away the confidence of my child by treating her without the respect she deserves, the cell phone is for her safety and my piece of mind.

Last year the school was awesome! Not so much this year. Items dropped off at the front, per teachers request, for my child never make it to the classroom. My child's teacher does not respond to messages and emails and recently intentionally created a situation that caused my child to become emotionally distressed. Also the school does not follow the same rules as other Renaissance schools in the area; don't allow birthday snack for the class, no socializing during lunch ect. School policies are not provided in full to parents and are changed / new ones made up throughout the year.

This is an EXCELLENT school with very professional staff. The environment is much better than a typical middle school, it is smaller and much more sheltered. Communication is great and the free clubs are outstanding! I can't believe the post I just read...why would you try to drop your child off 5 minutes before school starts? You are the problem, not the school.

Charter schools that choose to operate how ever they want solely based on the fact they are charter schools just makes me question why they are so popular. I want to stress to any parent thinking about sending their child here please read my review . The drop off is a nightmare no matter if your a car rider or a walker. My child has been both. As a walker if she arrived 5 minutes before school started it was a good possiblity that they would have the children waiting at the stop sign while they let the cars pass .One day I stopped and watched and my child along with other children was standing their for almost 5 minutes, this not only made her late but It made me wonder if they received some kind of incentive for late children as they seemed to want to make the children late. While trying the car line it is an even worse nightmare. They forbid parents from parking and walking their children in before school starts even though you could spend a good 15 mintues in the car line. They cut off the car line before school starts and force you to sit and park while ALL the cars in the car line have left . If you like multiple tardies even if your early , be my guest and enroll

This school is outstanding!! The teachers are great and the instruction is challenging. My children showed a lot of progress this year and one of them started to like math for the first time ever. The staff is professional and driven. The administration is also top notch and seems to get in contact with parents rapidly. My children came from a state ranked school that was extremely innovative and we are very happy here. Good luck trying to get in....the wait list is gigantic!!

I do not know what school the kids go to with the good ratings but certainly not this school. From non-certified teachers; to teachers with sketchy backgrounds, to teachers with no classroom management. Most of the teachers here seem to have come from some place else and obviously with back stories. This school horrified my child. The teachers in my child's classroom were not professional. They yelled and screamed at the students. I noticed my child's behavior was changing through out the school year. It's really a shame as we have been here since before the opening of the school. The only thing that's special about RCSCC is the children but the school should be closed. There is too many inappropriate activities to mention that go on behind their doors. If you bring them to the schools attention, they don't want to hear it. I've read reviews from other schools under this management company and they all say same thing, that the school makes promises it doesn't keep. I won't ever let my child walk into this school again. It isn't a safe place for a child to go to school. This is why so many people are choosing to home school.

Wonderful experience. My children has been here since they opened their door in 2012. My 3rd grader did amazing in the FCAT, his teacher was so wonderful. Yes, there was lots and lots of work, but it was worth it. My 1st grader didn't have the best experience. His teacher was new, unexperienced and well, she can use a course in classroom management. The staff is wonderful. There are many things that can always be improved but overall this is a great school. I cannot understand why any parent would ever get upset because their children are challenged to learn. They give material that is ahead of their grade level, but it's so pleasant to see the academic growth at the end of the year. Looking forward to many more years.

Nightmare this year! Multiple teachers this year for my daughters class. Teachers quit and school can't find quality replacement. Too much transition with staff. They lose good teachers to school board while weaker/new teachers struggle with small classroom and larger number of students. New website and student pick up/security system never introduced after big project sell at beginning of year. News flash, principal is leaving for new school located in Pines, formally a KMART on Palm and Pines Blvd! Other review is correct about lack of transparency. I predict a mass exodus after this year. If the current Assistant Principal takes over, I would have to look at other options. School does NOT create a warm and friendly school environment. It is run like a business. Kids are sent home busy work copied off the internet. Most work is not level appropriate. My third grader had work designed for 5th graders most of the year. No library or computer lab. Get ready for all the fundraising! They roll out BS fundraising programs every month! Have not seen the money go towards early grade levels. Must buy uniforms in SUNRISE store.

We have 2 children in this school since they opened- currently 5th and 3rd grade. Both of them were in private and then another Charter school. Seems to me, from reading many of these reviews that the people with a problem with the school are the ones who are dissatisfied with the amount of homework, higher level of academics, discipline, required parental involvement at home with school work, etc. The school offers ample individual assessment and then various tutoring if you avail of it. I agree, sometimes a child and teacher will not "fit" exactly, we have that issue with one child, but it will not be detrimental- because we are working with the teacher and our child. The school is still growing, but it is doing remarkably well. They have my FULL support.

Lack of transparency is this schools biggest problem. What are you hiding? Why can't the parents see the tests after they have been given and graded? Are you afraid that the parents will find out that you have been testing them at the wrong grade level? Yes I have heard that and many other major mistakes being hid in this school. I don't blame the teachers, this issue rests squarely on the shoulders of the principal. The hiding and purposeful lack of information to the parents is a huge problem. I also believe they are trying to drive out the slower learners to cherry pick the brighter kids to make the school look better. Bad teacher to student ratio and no dedicated aide for the classes with ese students. Shameful.

In response to "parent" post on Jan. 10, 2014 regarding my post and rating on 10/21/13: I am under the impression that you may have misread my review, or possibly did not read my review in its entirety. My rating of 2 stars is in deed correct. I was not happy with this school. It had very little positive aspects in my opinion, and much more negative aspects. I am in agreement with you that the private school setting is best, but feel that charter would be in 3rd place with public in 2nd. To clarify, this rating of 1st place to private, 2nd to public and 3rd to charter are based solely on my experiences with the private and public schools we have had our children in and this one experience with a charter school, which for us was quite unfavorable. I am glad to hear its gone so well for you. Like our children being so different from one another, so are our standards as parents. What is a good fit for some, might not be a good fit for others. Due to relocating for my job, my two children have been in three different schools: Private, public, and charter. I have had experiences in all three types, and I can tell you that the public school (A-rated) was the worst of the three. The private school was the best of the three. Renaissance Charter is as close to private as I could get without paying for tuition. They strictly enforce their uniform policy (which I absolutely love), they aren't bullied and don't kowtow to demanding parents, as you usually find in public schools, and they are strict with the kids, which I also like. If you want your kids coddled and don't want them to do much as far as academics, then I would suggest you send your kids somewhere else--a public school would do fine. I would like to address the posts from 11/26/13 and 10/21/13. 11/26/13: I'm not sure if this is your first experience in a school setting, but all schools--private, public, charter--have wish lists for their teachers, fundraisers, and field trips. That's just the way it is; if that bothers you, then I suggest you home school your kids. 10/21/13: You wrote an excellent review of the school, yet you rated it two stars--was that a mistake?

This school is run like a prison. Don't walk away from this school, Run away as fast you can. Be afraid, be very afraid to send your child to this school. My great grand parents fled the iron fist. This school has a warden and is not very family oriented. I'm interested building the whole child. They take your money and run with it. There aren't any checks and balances of where any ones money goes when you donate. Some of the teacher's wish lists are ridiculous. Even the art teacher has a wish list. Renaissance buy your own supplies and stop hounding parents for money. Start giving back to your families. If you have another school for a choice, Do NOT choose Renaissance! Jon Hage, shame on you. Where are you? You just open schools but don't care to check up on your faculty. This isn't McDonald's. Your schools are run like fast food chains and they are quite unhealthy for your child.

Both of my children attend RCSCC and they couldn't be happier. Yes, the pick up situation needs a lot of work, but other than that, its a wonderful school, with great teachers. They DO NOT tolerate bullying of any kind. If you're looking for a good playground, go right next door to Brian Piccolo Park. If you're looking for a good school for your children, you are in the right place!

This school is in a fantastic new facility, although it does lack a good playground area for the children, has no auditorium, and lacks in parking. The curriculum is a bit more rigorous than the local public schools, but it lacks the warmth and welcoming touch a school needs. The staff is nearly impossible to get in touch with, and the teachers are for the most part rather cold. Should you have an issue or a question good luck getting someone to listen to you. They really do not try to help, and make zero effort in making you happy because they know that if you leave they can instantly place another child in your childs place. This school has a lot of growing to do in terms of character and personal touch. I'm glad we were able to go back to where we came from. The grass isn't always greener on the other side!

I am a parent of a first grader and I have been teaching for 14 years. I am very pleased with the quality of education offered at RCSCC. My daughter is challenged academically and I love it! The office staff is fabulous, very courteous and willing to help. Administration has always been friendly and willing to please the parent. The teachers work really hard. Many get there at 630 in the morning and don't leave until 630 at night. There are many extra curricular activities offered for all the grades. I am very glad I put my daughter in this charter school instead of her home school. I am very satisfied.

I have two children who attend RCSCC and we are very happy with our choice. The school is very focused on academics and character development, which is what every school should strive for. The school has made many improvements during their second year and so far the changes have been very positive. Parental involvement is encouraged (not in the classroom itself) and accessing grades and assignments online is extremely helpful. Online communication of school activities and opportunites still needs some work but weekly telephone and email updates by the principal is great.

Both of my children go to this school. I have a first grader and a fifth grader. We are very pleased with the school. My son came out of a school where he was bullied and the school did not care! At Renaissance everything is organized and the kids are expected to respect each other. The academics is challenging but not overwhelming. We have a lot of homework and at times I do complain but I am very impressed by what my children are learning and how much they learned last year. I am very grateful for the kindness of the staff. They seem happy to there and they are eager to help in any way that they can.

I am not happy never was happy sending my child to this school. I thought it was going to be a good year but It was the most stressful year of my life. Too much homework, the principal will not listen to you, the staff made a lot of mistakes all year through, dropping off and picking up is a nightmare!!! hours waiting...... No communication at all with the principal and the assistant principal is very rude. I am so glad that my child is going to a different school. In addition the bullying I reported to the staff was never taken into account. Parents please educate your kids so we can have great citizens for the future of this city and this world. In general I was not satisfied with the staff. Academics is great, good program.

This school is phenomenal. I am very pleased with the academics. My daughter is in kindergarten and I cannot believe how much she has learned in her first year of school. It is a new school, and of course there will always be a few bumps on the road. The staff is great and are always striving to improve our schools processes. Unfortunately as much as they try to accommodate everyone and their concerns they just cannot please everybody. In my opinion the school has made so much progress in only the first year, I can only imagine the success in the upcoming years.

I am a teacher at another school and did my homework before placing my child at this school. I love the school and have had only positive experiences here. Some people will always complain and no school is perfect. There have been some car line issues at the beginning of the year but it was addressed and now the car lines runs very smoothly. The Principal and Assistant Principal have always gone out of their way to help and listen to the parents. As a teacher, I know there are always going to be parents who want things their way or don t understand the system. I am happy here and so is my child.

School is brand new and of course there is always the adjustment and learning process, teachers are really nice they care about the kids learning and specially the all round learning, not just focus in FCAT like rest of public schools. Principal is a little bit strict and sometimes his way of thinking is not the more logical but as long school stay safe and keeps improving we will be OK. My kids are really happy!

I think this school has been great for both of my children. We came from a private school where we were for seven years and Renaissance Charter School at Cooper City has far exceeded our expectations. They have excelled the opportunities and learning practices that we were receiving at a private school and paying alot of money for. The administration is so welcoming and friendly. This is definately a big school with a small quaint feeling. We are very happy and so are my children.

I have had the opposite feelings then this other reviewer. I think it's a great school. I don't think the car line in unorganized at all. Every car line in every school is time cosuming.. My sons teacher is great and answers all of my emails within that day. I think the staff is great and very friendly. I guess you can't please everybody.. Every new school is going to have hiccups along the way. I think they are doing a great job!

Was not happy witht he school. Assistant Principle could not answer concerns. No efforts were being contributed in fnding out how in the first 3 months of school my "A" child was failing. No curriculum established. Teacher was horrible not responding to e-mails, notes, or setting up a meeting. Reason why I had to go to Assistant Principle. No small town feel. Parents were not felt welcomed or encourage to walk their childe to school. Car pool line is unorginized and time consuming. Extremely sad to see this school in CC because CC is a great city. Went back to CCE within the first 4 months of the new school yr and still in love. So sorry I attempted this school.

This is a new school so far I am happy but not very happy. My son's teacher is great, very well educated and she is available all the time for any questions or concerns regarding her students. Regarding the Principal he is not very nice. He is hardly available to speak with the parents. He avoided me three or four times, so I gave up. He can talk and convinced you with no problem but when it comes to school problems he is not available. The academics and teaching system is great! The drop off pick up is a BIG problem. It takes forever to pick up the kids, and forever to drop them off. If it is raining worst, much worst I was in line yesterday for one hour+! I am happy with the academic program, but not happy with the system. They need to fix the field and cover the playground, actually need a new and bigger, better playground. The building is nice and secure which is a great plus.
