Somerset Oaks Academy

There is not a warmer, more welcoming staff than Somerset Oaks. The school is a wonderful school. Lots of activities through the year, fun theme days to keep the kids excited, great enrichment classes like coding, art and film production, the best afterschool program, teachers are caring and work hard to bring out the best in each student, the office is always eager to help and point you in the right direction. Overall, it is just a very caring, safe, clean school with the growth and individual needs of your child in mind. I am so happy we found Oaks and look forward to our kids staying through middle school!

My child has been going to this school for 2 years now and she loves it. She is very involved in a lot of clubs and after school activities, and her homeroom teachers are the sweetest and very supportive! I like that this is a small school because it feels like we are all a family, even the lunch ladies know my daughter by name. There's lots of school spirit, even the principal participates and dresses up and has fun. As for the curriculum, I have no complaints. My daughter has learned so much in such a short period of time. Her teachers challenge her and love to see her succeed. School offers Gifted classes for kids who meet the criteria as well. It really is a great school.

For the first experience of a child should be when graduates for the first time receive their first achievement in their school life and feel that it is like all students , today I felt so bad to see how discriminate against many leaving them children sitting without to be in the souvenir photo with their other classmates , cause them the greatest desilucion without knowing that it marks the beginning of its development as a student , feel bad and one parent will break your heart because you do not want to see son .Hacer ecepciones suffer for their preferences is not acceptable , one works in all it can to help and support to school to make some children spend only 6 years by this terrible experien .Si love their small not exhibit at this school, kindergarten graduation worst in this school ... I do not recommend to anyone.

Porque la primera experiencia de un nino,debe ser cuando se gradua por primera vez,recibir su primer logro en su vida escolar y sentir que es igual que todos los estudiantes,hoy me senti muy mal al ver como discriminan a muchos ninos dejandolos sentados sin poder estar en la foto de recuerdo junto a sus demas companeros de clase,les causan la mayor desilucion y sin saber que eso marca el comienzo de su desarrollo como estudiante,se sienten mal y uno como padre le rompen el corazon porque uno no quiere ver sufrir a sus hijos.Hacer ecepciones por preferencias no es aceptable,uno colabora en todo lo que mas puede para ayudar y apoyar ala escuela como para hacer pasar a unos ninos de solo 6 anos por esta terrible experiencia.Si aman a sus pequenos no los expongan en esta escuela,graduacion de kindergarden lo peor en esta escuela...no la recomiendo a nadie.

This is a really good school. My kids love it here and the teachers are awesome! Everyone is involved including the office staff a lot of school spirit!
