Like my mother and her mother, i attended this school as a child. Being so young, I don't remember much aside from walking through the open hallways during active hurricanes (my cheap shoes would get so wet I left a few soles around campus during my time there). I also recall getting my first period here during the hurricanes and having to sit in a pool of said fluid for a couple hours because we were locked in, because of the hurricanes. Due to bullying at this school, I had my first mental health crisis. Because I was a child without any experience with how i was feeling, and because I did not have resources and did not know how to cope I acted out as any child would. The school did not have a counselor speak to me, however i did speak to the principle before she called the police on me for not being verbally complaint. This was a traumatic experience for me that could have been avoided if the school prioritized the wellbeing of its student, instead of spending their money on recent "school beautification."

I attended this school in the 70's along with my 2 older siblings , my two children attended this school in the 90's and now I have a grandson that has been going to JS Robinson since 2014. I like that the teachers get involved with their students and really help them learn and the seem to care......

I have temporarily taught at JSR for about 9 months and I can say that this school isn't really just a school for me and many others; its a family. The teachers and staff really are genuine and care about the children and their learning that takes place. They have a vast amount of tutors and even volunteers who reach out to the educational needs and goals of their students. Also, their PBS program is exceptional. The children are very well behaved and the structure within the school is superb! The children love hearing praise and being rewarded with JSR bucks. I have jumped at the chance to be apart of this school and will continue to try to be apart of the JSR team!!! I have learned so much from them! This school has really added to my teaching experience and has enhanced my teaching career in the near future :) Keep up the great work J.S. Robinson!!!

My son goes to Robinson he is in Kindergarten and has some learning difficulties. The teacher for his class has really worked hard with him this year really pushing him as far as he can go. He has learned so much this year. I would have to say the dedication of the staff for the success of their students is real.
