Genuinely a complete waste of 4 years. I had to fight to get anything done correctly. The staff and teachers are rude and disrespectful. They prioritize AP score to earn more money than what will actually help students get into college. Communication between the school and families is non existent; especially if you're an out of area students. Favoritism is a stable in both academics and sports. If you're not from the island and family friends with all of them, dont even bother.

Less than 1 star. Teachers are incompetent. Administration is even worse
Do not send your kid to this school. Apply for choice schools and maybe you can win the lottery thatÂ’s the only way you can get in a good school in Brevard County!

My two sons attended MI High. Both were admitted to UCF on their first attempt. Both graduated UCF with science majors and both are officers in the United States military.

My child went to MI HS and entered UCF directly and graduated with honors.

My daughter started 9th grade this year and she absolutely LOVES this school. We moved down here from New Hampshire. MI High School made the move so easy for my daughter. She has met such a nice group of friends with great southern hospitality and she is excelling in school. I can't say enough good things!

100% They have any and all opportunity a student would want, and any help they need for a good future. They have a Dual enrollment.This is the first Summer vacation he's taken since he started high school my grandson is graduating with a HS Diploma And with high honors and an AA Degree.If you want a good School who puts your children first I suggest MIHS

This school has no concern for it's students at all. They are more concerned with collecting their checks and going home which is evident from recent discussions about their staff's neglect and poor performance -
THEY FEEL THEY DON'T NEED TO ANSWER THE TOUGH QUESTIONS!
They feel there is no need to answer parent's tough questions because there isn't time or value to it.
If your child is an idiot send them here - they have TONS of them. If your child has promise then send them elsewhere. This one is a complete waste of everyone's time unless you are a Merritt Island snob then go ahead and join this useless school

Really great school with a great honors program! My child was given the opportunity of dual enrollment. What a fantastic program. Graduated with honors and AA degree.

This school delivers very little to it's students. An example is a very self-centered music teacher that is more concerned with herself and her cats than her students. She should be fired, however as long as her 'cheerleader' girls are happy no one cares. She is a disgrace to teaching, and there are others. So many that I find it difficult to deal with the LACK of choices for education in this area.

The only problem I have with this school is how the children aren't allowed to show there shoulders. I get how spaghetti straps can be a bit much, but considering we live in Florida and it is very hot, they should at least have 3 finger rule. I've been up there several times witnessing girls who's butts are hanging out of there shorts, and I don't see them getting dress coded. But god forbid they show their shoulders!

I am currently a student here and it is one of the best schools I have ever been to! I am so proud to be a mustang and I am honored to be apart of the JROTC program here.This is by far the best program ever! GO MUSTANGS!!!!!!!

I attended MIHS and am proud of being a Mustang. The teachers were wonderful. The only complaint I would have would be Dean Casper, who brushed my problems with a bully as "girl problems." The guidance counselor Mrs. Campbell is amazing and so is her husband. The teachers really bend over backwards to help their students succeed.
