If you have a child that's well adjusted that has little to no behavioral/psychological/educational issues, Holland is a great school. They care a lot about their reputation and are extremely customer service oriented (they tend to stick very closely to the script). However, if your child has any of the issues or disabilities, I would highly recommend going anywhere else.

Holland is an amazing school! We moved from a school that was like a family and was worried that we would not be able to find that same environment. Holland embraced us and made us feel welcome. My son has a school full of staff that make connections, care and do what is best for each child. They have high academics and encourage learning for all students. I could not have found a better school. We are out of area and I am so thankful that Holland accepted us into their school and their family.

Regarding the review shown from 2/21/22- the inappropriate and inaccurate review of Holland Elementary should be ignored. Holland is an excellent school with an entire staff of caring educators and staff who give 110% every day to meet the needs of the students. The school focuses on the development of the whole child. Academically, as evidenced by FSA, it is the BEST school on the beach. It has a real community feel. You will love the school and know that your child will receive a great education in an environment where student growth, academic and in self confidence, are nurtured. The school has students that travel 35-40 each way a day to attend this school.

Holland is an absolute hidden gem in Brevard! The teachers and staff are INCREDIBLE--so caring and attentive--and are fantastic educators. Teachers really take time to get to know their students and understand their learning styles. Assignments are creative and interesting. The school involves families in many of their events and volunteer opportunities. Our family feels at home here at Holland.

As a military family, we are always concerned when we have to go through another change. When we arrived, I was worried that we were late to register for school and that their wouldn't be space for my 1st and 4th grader. I'll never forget my first experience. I walked through the door and was greeted by the office clerk. She was so warm and friendly. She reassured me that everything was going to be okay and that there is nothing to worry about. Since then, we have had an amazing experience with the school, teachers and staff. We are so grateful for this school and welcoming my children. Holland is WONDERFUL!!!

We ironically moved here for the great school district. Holland is the worst one! Go to surfside. All our neighbors choose schools futher away as Holland is a dump where teachers do not care about students.

Students given zero for assignments done but not 100 correct. For example they miss a multiplication fact they get a zero. After correcting they earn 80%, teaches students that mistakes are not okay. Other schools embrace mistakes as a chance to learn. Having to be perfect on everything just to keep a B is too stressful.
Students are called names by teachers and teased.

The teachers my child had were enthusiastic, patient, and caring. Very much willing to listen to parents with any concerns and make any necessary adjustments to needs of my kid.

For 1st grade, about 1 hr worth of homework a week, covering math, writing, and reading.

I most appreciated his teachers giving my child more academically-challenging work and their willingness to work with parents with any concerns they might have. The school has a gifted program, starting as early as kindergarten. It is a diverse school and the community is very involved. I also enjoyed being able to walk/jog/bike to the school - it added to that sense of community.

I have a special needs child in first grade. My son started holland in the middle of the year and was a little frustrated due to holland being more advanced than his old school. The staff and his teacher have been very patient and understanding with my son. He now feel right at home and loves holland! I am so excited to watch my special needs child learn and grow in this new school!!! I can't wait for my daughter to start kindergarten now!

My son has been attending Holland Elementary since Aug 13. The transition into a school routine has been challenging for him and I; however, his teacher showed full support and understanding. I'm grateful for the wonderful staff and amazing learning environment.

I have 2 kids that have been attending Holland for 3 years and I must say, this is the best elementary school!!! I love the staff and the administration. They genuinely care about the students there. It is a great learning environment. I could never run out of great things to say, but I'm running out of characters lol.
