Ive had serious concerns about the conditions and management at this school. There are ongoing cleanliness issues, including a persistent cockroach problem and extremely unsanitary bathroom conditions, with reports of feces smeared in the facilities. Additionally, student behavior often goes unchecked, and the administration, particularly the principal, appears unresponsive to these issues. The overall environment feels neglected and unstructured, which affects both student well-being and the quality of education.

I have no worries with Mr Dan and Officer Jen looking out for the kiddos!

Ocean Breeze takes good care of their kids - the teachers all know the students by name. It's great we can eat lunch with the kids any day we want as a parent. Couldn't ask for much more!

The principal is wonderful. The school board member is absolutely horrible and doesn't care about the district or students.

OBE is wonderful. The school district will fight an IEP every chance they can.

The district has zero plan in place for bullying except to give everyone a gun. They push bullying under the rug and don't address it until it's escalated to threats.

Brevard Public Schools have excellent teaching staff. Unfortunately they won't pay them a living wage so effective teachers are leaving.

BPS won't hire enough licensed counselors for this to be a priority

Ocean Breeze Elementary has wonderful staff. I do not know how long that's going to last with the gross mismanagement of the district funds.

The Indian Harbour Beach Police Department made the community and parents aware in March that a student had been making threats and statements that were very inappropriate. In my opinion, the principal should have notified parents in February and requested a LEO be on campus at all times. After a large community meeting in March steps have been taken to secure the school and appropriately handle the situation.

This lovely school has a Staff which is consistent, loving and caring. We have been fortunate to be a part of their school for 6 years now with 3 kids enrolled. The 4th babe will be a Kindergartner next year. I have had personal contact with our beloved Principal and Mrs. Herring rocks. So great to have our neighborhood school be so wonderful. Looking forward to seeing our youngests go through their next 3- 5 Years here.
