Great advanced courses, great music programs with band and orchestra! Teachers care about the students and are good about updating the focus website. Fun school events throughout the year, great new Principal that is very positive! We love this school!

My son has a 504 plan and they have set up a plan. For the first time ever he is getting great grades.

I am a student at Hoover Middle School and most of my teachers are exceptional. All staff members are very kind and have your best interest in mind. Hoover offers a variety of clubs and an advanced learning program (REACH). The school also offers honors math classes and many electives as well. The current principle is much better than past principles I've had and is currently in the process of memorizing every student's name. Music programs at this school are fantastic. I recommend science research if the student has an interest in any type of science. Science Research allows you to create a project on anything in any field of science and compete at a fair for prizes and award money. I have taken this class for 7th and 8th grade and both years proved to be an exceptional experience.

The teachers are ok but I feel a lot of favoritism. Some teachers there seem unqualified and some seem VERY qualified. People think that since it is a beachside school they have a lot of money and the kids are angels. The school is not as nice as any school I've been to and the kids are just as bad as any other school.
