Really caring teachers! You can tell that they love the school and the kids they teach. Most of them have their own kids attend here, too!

Atmosphere of caring and compassion. No bullying is tolerated and faculty, staff, and students feel a sense of belonging and family.

Strict, no nonsense approach. Students know the rules and are expected to abide by them.

I have been very pleased with Port Malabar. I have two children attending for an experience of a total of 6 teachers we have been assigned. Communication is great and they do some unbelievable things with fundraising to provide great technology at the school. We have been pleased.

I attended PME for 7 years (including kindergarten), I will graduate from High School this year. The teaching was excellent. I still remember how caring all of my teachers were, and I sure do miss it. I know I wasn't the easiest child to deal with (I was very obnoxious, loud, and trouble-making) but they always stayed patient and helped me. I wish I could go back in time to appreciate all that I had in my grasp. I would like to thank especially my 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Cox. Even after all of these years I can't forget how kind she was. She is my inspiration to become a teacher. I don't know if she still teaches or if she will ever read this, but I will forever be grateful to her. If you are moving to Brevard County or you are already in PME's district, please send your children to PME. One story that proves the dedication is when I was in 2nd grade: I fell off of the jungle-gym and broke my arm, my mom was practically confined to bed because of health issues but she was the only one who could pick me up. The principal, Mr. Loffeck, followed my mom and me to the hospital just to make sure we got there alright. Thank you PME for 7 wonderful years. I'm coming to visit soon!!

I attended Port Malabar Elementary, and had one of the best experiences there! The teachers were great all the way through (although by now all of my teachers but 1 are gone). PME provides so many opportunities for student-parent involvment as well as many opportunities for students such as news production or safety patrol. I enjoyed my experience with PME and I am proud to have been a pelican for 7 years!! (that includes kindergarten by the way)
