My son has always had minimal homework. If homework is assigned sometimes are given enough time at school to complete or bring home and given enough time to complete. They have Gradelink and it is a excellent tool to keep up with your child's assignments and grades and can communicate with teachers through it also.

My son has been at Highpoint Christian Academy for 4 years and is about to be one of their graduates. The staff has been wonderful to him they always have been their for him and always make him feel loved and uplifted as a student at Highpoint. I thank all the staff for the exceptional education my son has received at Highpoint and being part of his success. I highly recommend this school and it full of love for the children and giving them the tools to be a successful adult.

HighPoint Christian Academy is a wonderfuk, Christ-centered environment for children to learn. The staff genuinely care about the students and truly work to help your child succeed. It is like an extension of our family. I have had 4 kids attend the school and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Ms. Pleasant is a wonderful mentor for the students while also being a strong administrator. She always has the student's best interest at heart.

We have run into bullying at the school and it was handled right away! Teens are teens but bullying isn't tolerated! They have a zero tolerance policy!

Mr. Gant and Mrs. Pleasant are amazing and truly love the kids!! All the teachers are great too!

I can easily contact a teacher if needed and get a response quickly! Very caring! Public school wasn't this way. It was like pulling teeth to get an answer!

My son is able to complete his homework in class which is a huge win for us. I have a toddler at home too so doing HW at school is a bonus for us all!

It breaks my heart to read such defamating comments. This school changed my daughters life. She not only improved academically, but spiritually, and socially. HPCA is a safe place for students to grow. IEP's/504's are accommodated above and beyond what they state. Students are given many chances and opportunities academically and behaviorally. This school exudes grace and God's love. I would recommend that you visit this school yourself before making any judgements and I am confident you will agree that this school is a hidden gem in Clay County.

Students who have been kicked out of the public school system have come here and given a completely fresh start and transformed their lives

Math is the only subject that usually has homework and as a parent whose child has other responsibilities I appreciate the ability to be a family after school hours

There was never any homework, even after missing a significant amount of time due to illness.

I don't think I ever witnessed fairness, honesty, or integrity encouraged amongst the students. In fact, it seemed that it was encouraged for students to keep in good graces by getting another student in trouble by whatever means necessary.

This school promotes and encourages discrimination and public ridicule of students with special needs. They are often kept in isolation, kept from activities and outings, and not allowed to socialize in any way with other students for exhibiting evidence of their disability. Their curriculum in years behind that of their public school peers, though they claim to be college prep. They do not respect parents or students, unless they attend the church in which they are housed. There is no structure for discipline, just what they refer to as "judgment call" on the part of whomever is in charge at a particular moment. Grades are subject to change during any given quarter, dependent on how well liked the parents and child may be, not the completed assignment. Frankly, it is a shameful example of Christian schooling.
