Don't not send your kids here. It was great at 1st, but now has gone hill. I pulled my child out early do to lack of teachers not being there for middle and high school. All teachers do is yell at the students even if they are trying there best. This place is a joke.

My daughter attended BridgePrep Academy, and overall our experience has been mixed. She had the same wonderful teacher for both kindergarten and first grade, and that consistency made a huge positive impact on her early learning experience. We absolutely loved that teacher and still keep in touch with her to this day, even though she no longer works at the school. The principal and the front desk staff have always been amazing, welcoming, and supportive.
However, third grade has been a very different experience and has unfortunately been extremely challenging. I have noticed a high turnover of teachers and less classroom control than in previous years. Bullying has been an ongoing concern, and I did not feel that enough attention or support was given to students with learning disabilities or ADHD. I also felt that my daughter was academically pushed through, and she continues to struggle with math as a result.
Due to the lack of communication from her third-grade teacher and the continued bullying issues, I ultimately made the decision to withdraw my daughter. I used to strongly recommend the school, but I feel it has changed significantly over time. That said, the principal and front office staff remain some of the schools greatest strengths.

I would absolutely never send my kids here again. I am pulling my daughter out early this year. There seems to be a fight every single day with students. My daughter was jumped by a high school student and she is in sixth grade.
Kids smoke and vape in the bathrooms and the administrators seem to not care about the safety of the children. They do not discourage bullying of any type. This school is an absolute circus and if you care about your kids, well-being, and education, do not send them here.

My kids go to Bridgeprep Riverview and as a parent, I can say our experience has been BEYOND horrible. The staff and faculty overly focuses on catering to the hispanic youth population, which leaves children of color feel left out! I have compiled a list of parents who have complained about this and no action has been taken towards better treatment to black students. My son is constantly coming home with stories of how the staff at Bridgeprep grant hispanic students with special treatment. It affects students in the class and around campus. The kids notice. The parents notice. Nothing is being done.

Parent communication is terrible; only emails received are regarding applying for Snap benefits. My child has been called a "monkey" by different students on several occassions. Also, teachers argue with children and envoke physical altercations. Emailed prinicipal on multiple occassions and have yet to receive a response.

This School Is Slowly Deterioating . There Prime Years Were 2017-2019 for sure . The Social Discrimination Is SAD and 3 teachers have already left this year. Every Teacher That Comes Here Is Happy To Work But Then The Kids Literally Mentally Drain Them. And The Unorganization Is Literally The Worst. The School Is Overfilled And Honestly They Need To Go Out Of Business. I hope they shut down this school.

I am a teacher at BridgePrep and also a BPAR parent. I am thrilled that my child attends this school. The teachers actually care about the students and their overall well-being. The care begins with the Leadership. There is a zero-tolerance policy for peer bullying and discrimination. The students are taught to respect cultural differences and diversity. This is enforced by the staff and their acceptance of the same. It is a new school. It is improving and developing each year. As parents, my husband and I did look at the scores when we were deciding. As a teacher, I know that standardized tests are not always an indication of the potential of the child and the quality of the school. We are happy we decided to send out child here and see for ourselves. Try the school and judge for yourself as well.

Since August 2019, I have been teaching Elementary Music at BridgePrep Academy in Riverview. The administrative staff consists of Mr. Pitts, Dr. Sara Troche, Mr. Gaddis, and Mr. Hester; they have been the best leaders that I have ever worked for since becoming a teacher in 2000.
The teachers at this school are wonderful team players and I have always felt that I am an important part in helping our students become better students and members of the community. Inspiring students to become motivated in being life-long learners is a goal I strive for with my students.
I feel as though my co-workers are family and that everyone is giving each student the best education possible, because It takes a village to raise a child. By working as a team, we are providing the best environment for our students to learn, grow, and blossom academically and socially.
Regarding music, my students have learned to play the piano, recorders, flutes, violins, drums, Orff xylophones, trumpets, trombones, guitars and ukuleles. Our students have learned to sing in a choir and perform with costumes in musicals. The BridgePrep Academy Riverview (BPAR) Dancerettes have performed as a dance-drill team using pom-poms and costumes for the Winter Holiday Show. BridgePrep Academy in Riverview is an exciting school to work for and be involved in the preparation of our students to be successful in their academic paths. I look forward to going to work every day and helping our students be the best that they can be. This is a school that truly cares about their students, parents, teachers, and staff.
Carolyn Cline, Music K-5 Teacher.

Faulty communication is the least I can say. Leadership does not really care about the childrens well being. Peer bullying and discrimination is the order of the day and staff, teachers and admin will watch and look away. We thought we give it a chance because it was a new school but it has been enough. Look at the scores and judge by yourself.
