This has been one of the best learning experiences our kids have had. The teachers my kids have had, have all been engaging and looking out for my kids. The past reviews are untrue. The admin is great at this school and they do have a lot of activities for families to attend. There is no perfect school or perfect kids. Parent involvement is lacking at this school which helps make the school a better place.

I feel like this school has failed my child in many ways. From below average test scores among all of his classmates to an awful discipline system. There is no reason my son should come home almost every day with a new story of another student getting in trouble because they had to use the restroom or talking during lunch. Since when has the lunch room become a correctional institution? My child attended Doby and LLT for Kindergarten/1st grade and was average on test scores. He also enjoyed school at the time. Come 2nd grade, he transferred to Belmont since it was the closest school and that's when the troubles began. Test scored plummeted, no desire to learn or go back the next day, constant complaints about remarks teachers make, kids fighting and clearly bullying on the walk home right outside of the school. I wish I was exaggerating but drive by the school once they release the walkers and see it for yourself. It's a shame honestly. I wish I had better things to say about this school but that's just the reality of it.

This school may seem like a good option for students and families due to its convenient location. Do not let that be the determining factor for you. From the exterior the school looks well fitted and funded however, the administration and teachers are horrible. You will have more issues with the adults than should be tolerated. My children came from an A rated IB international school, always scored above average, always received principal list (gifted and magnet) and never once had an incident with bullying. They have been here only two weeks and I am removing them. Two incidents of racial bullying with two of my children and one incident with an inappropriate remark from a teacher (My son is highly allergic to mites and had breathing issues she told him if he cleared his throat one more time she will stuff cotton up his nose. And their test scores dropped to the lowest level. We only temporarily placed our children here due to relocating and wanted them to Finnish out the last month of school here due to location. When I initially went into the office the administration were hoping about a kid and gossiping about how they werent going to help him with his situation but instead call his mom and get him in trouble I feel like I failed my children tremendously by not walking out right then. Its like a sick reality TV show every time you step into the office or receive a phone call from them. Please place your children somewhere else or I guarantee you, you will be the next one writing a review.

This school is horrible. Look at their students' test scores. They also have no patience nor understanding for ESE students.
