My son is doing amazing at this school!! Miss Hipps is his Kindergarten teacher; and wow… she is amazing!! After being in VPK, my son entered this school only know a few sight words. The school year hasn’t ended yet, and now my son knows how to read beautifully! He amazes us!! He loves to read, and he loves that he can now read the books of his favorite Disney movies!!

The school program is great! I was able to participate as a chaperone for one of my child’s field trips, and I was updated daily on my child’s behavior and academic progress.

I wish Ms. Hipps could just teach every grade for my kiddo; but I’m happy that she will be around to help new kindergarteners coming in the school year :)

This school has been phenomenal for our family. Very communicative, they are involved in a lot of events, and the teachers have been very kind. A few one offs, but, you were going to get that with every school. They truly care about helping children succeed, they offer so much free tutoring, as an example, to help these students. I wish they offered more extracurricular periods for middle and high school, but this is also a very new developing school. I think that needs grace while they figure out what to add.

My son has progress none in the three years he's been there. Each time you finally speak with a teachers they make sure they point out your kid was either talking or doing something else. They don't take accountability for anything. Hard to say it's the kid, when all their other classes they are doing well. Really don't see or understand how the school is ranked so high.

Unfortunately me and my son had the worst experience in this school. "My child was treated unfairly by his teacher." As a parent, I believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported at school, and I do not feel that standard was met in our case.

Just take your time before applying to this school and research. I want to be fair with my review. The school is very clean, amazing front desk, and staff is kind. However, this is a charter school and they are not held accountable for THEIR behaviors. It is apparent if they have to discipline the children. If they have to discipline your kids be VERY wary. I hate traditional public schools but what goes on inside this school is very concerning. They coerce the children into admitting fault, they don't take accountability for their errors, they do not have any other methods of discipline but OSS. The education quality is the same as public school it is NOT superior. The programs are the similar. Not all the teachers are certified ( it's a charter school), faculty is better than public school in some aspects. They seemed happy to be at work which was was attracted me initially. I am simply speaking about their way of discipline, so if you have a child who has never had ANY disciplinary issues anywhere else. The child never has had issues with other schools, sports, clubs, friends, etc. but have problems at RAMS that is common. I have heard this from multiple parents now, although some of them have decided to leave their children at the school due to convenience. This may not be a fit for your child. If you have your children there and your child is getting into trouble WAY more than usual it could be your child but be vigilant. It will be apparent what the issues are and they will not take accountability for anything. They want the kids to take 100% accountability.

If you are in the legal field, it will be very apparent they are breaking/bending the law with your kids. I wouldn't say run away from the school, but pay attention! Talk to the faculty, teachers, and YOUR kids (their voice matters also). You will discover some uncomfortable truths. I contacted the FLDOE- charter school division and discussed what was happening. I asked if I should be concerned and they lady said yes. She concurred that the tactics used by the adults with a minor was inappropriate. I didn't move forward because I spoke with the principal. Again, they were all kind but this is the worst thing I've ever seen. Read the reviews and if you do try them be vigilant.

This school is amazing! We have had nothing but a great experience with our son’s education and progress. Car line is actually extremely efficient this year. The staff is always helpful. There is constant police presence directing traffic and security is also extremely tight with a police officer stationed at the premises. This facility is extremely clean, well organized, and well-maintained. There is a clear division between elementary and middle school with Little to know intermingling. I love the fact that Spanish is a class for every student and there is no lottery system required for the class. We also love the communication between teachers and parents. We are always up to date with any required information via email. Miss Armstrong is an absolute rockstar and Miss Kona is awesome as well.

The only thing I would like to see change would be the age requirement for children to attend soccer. To my understanding. It starts at third grade and on. I believe it start at first grade. Other than that, I believe this school has been flawless so far.

Our children have been going here since the school opened. Sure, there were little kinks to work out in the beginning but each year they improve and get better. We love it there, not only for the academics but it feels personable. We have kids ranging from elementary, middle and high school. Our children can walk through the halls and the teachers know their names and who their siblings are. The sports department really flourished this past year and looking forward to this year. Car line in the past was a huge nightmare. But this past year it went seamless. The only pesky thing that I would complain about, is when we exit the school after drop off/pick up and there’s not a cop directing traffic, it’s a cluster and can really make getting out of the exit a real headache.
