I am a parent of a child who started at this school the first year it opened. This school was easily the best choice for my child. While other schools focus solely on education and grades, Seaside focuses on the complete child and development of young people. I would recommend this school to anyone who values shaping good people, not just students with good grades!

The school left me with serious concerns about student safety, staff professionalism, and the school's ability to provide a safe and supportive learning environment. I believe other parents should ask questions, observe for themselves, and decide whether this school meets their expectations.

Our family enrolled our son at Seaside Charter North because we were looking for a calm, supportive learning environment for kindergarten. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.

Throughout the school year, we repeatedly received negative messages from our sons teacher regarding behavioral struggles. As parents, we tried very hard to work collaboratively with her and even shared strategies and recommendations that work successfully for him at home. Those suggestions appeared to be completely ignored.

One incident that especially concerned us was when our son was reportedly locked out of the classroom until he knocked nicely, which deeply upset him. We also had concerns about disciplinary practices such as withholding recess and the overall classroom environment. Our son regularly came home saying that his teacher yelled and screamed at him and the class throughout the day, which caused him anxiety and distress about going to school.

What made this even more concerning is that after moving to another state, our son immediately began thriving in his new school. His current teachers and staff consistently describe him as respectful, kind, and doing very well, and we have had none of the issues we experienced at Seaside.

I also reached out directly to the principal to express my concerns about the classroom environment and the treatment of my child, but I never received a response. That lack of communication and accountability was extremely disappointing as a parent.

I hope the school takes concerns like these more seriously in the future so other families have a better experience than ours did.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. For the first year my children dont beg me to let them stay home everyday, the communication about everything going on is impeccable, I was worried about them falling behind but theyre only thriving and enjoying themselves while doing it. I can truly not say enough good things about this school.

The rating does not accurately represent this school. They have been amazing with my daughter who did not do well in traditional school. The after school activities and clubs are excellent and the teachers are super communicative. Definitely recommend taking a tour and asking parent opinions vs looking at the outdated 2/10 score.

My daughter was really struggling in the public school setting with how big the class sizes are and everything that goes with that. We were lucky enough that Seaside North had availability in kindergarten so she started after winter break. For the first time ever, she's loving school and actually talks about what she's doing and learning. I'm so relieved and thankful we found this school!

We are new to this school and the difference is phenomenal. The interaction I've had with teachers and all staff has been a welcome change. They are very nurturing and caring. So far we love it here.

I love Seaside because my child can be who he was created to be! The staff is AH-MAZING and my son loves coming to school each day. My son is also on the autism spectrum. The environment and resources at Seaside are so conducive to his learning that he is flourishing! I love the Waldorf inspired approach to teaching and not only being focused on academics. The school believes in teaching the whole child - Head, Heart, Hands!

Seaside Charter North is an Amazing school! I recently transferred my girls to this school and they are having the best time. The teacher are great at communicating and the school is always having fun events for the kids and their families to get involved. We love this school!

Seaside Charter North has been an Amazing experience for my family. My oldest son has a teacher that takes the time to help the children be the best they can be. She reaches out when help is needed and is always available to listen to you as a parent. The youngest one just started this year and the teacher has had a great patience with him when he doesn't want to do class work. They make your children feel welcomed and that they matter. The Waldorf philosophy aids in creating growth and balance in the children. I'm very thankful that we were presented with Seaside Charter North.

As a teacher and a parent, this school is a phenomenal place to be. As a teacher, we foster social emotional growth, meeting each child where they are, and teaching to head, heart, and hands. We are a school who thrives off of teamwork and positive community. We are a school family. Our staff and admin are amazing at supporting each other and bringing magic to our school as well as safety for all on and off campus. As a parent, this is a place where my child can feel safe, grow and learn not just academically but also socially as well. Teachers thrive off of communication and parent/family support. My child is able to explore the world around thus giving her a deeper learning. Learning through art, music and movement is even more vital than anyone can imagine from the littlest of students to the oldest at this school. A place where everyone feels a part of a family community, I recommend a 10/10 to teach here as well as enroll a child.

Seaside charter is unlike any other school out there. With its Waldorf Teachings at its core and intertwined throughout the curriculum and day-to-day activities the children learn and play through many different ways. Their ability to see each individual child for who they are and what they need is remarkable. From where they are academically to where they are socially & emotionally. The School will help develop your child as a whole, seeing their weaknesses as opportunities to help them succeed and their strengths as an opportunities to shine and help others. They dont give mundane homework that they have to do, but provide support if needed. They provide a beautiful balance of learning and play. Watching my child grow while in this school has blown me away. He knows he is loved and supported and truly seen.

Seaside Charter North has been a fantastic school for our kids. The Waldorf-inspired curriculum promotes creativity, hands-on learning, and a strong connection to nature. The supportive environment and focus on holistic education have helped our girls grow both academically and emotionally. We couldnt be happier with the positive experience and sense of community. Seaside North has the happiest kids. Ive never worked in a school that had an overwhelming feeling of joy like Seaside North does. Our admin is phenomenal and supports the teachers so well, and that positive energy trickles down to our kids. Our Waldorf-inspired curriculum is well known around the country as it uniquely blends Floridas state standards with the Waldorf principles. Other Waldorf schools look onto ours for guidance. Every child here has the chance to feel good at something as we coincide the development of the head, heart, and hands. How our children see themselves is who they become, and we create opportunities for them to become their most confident selves each day. I genuinely believe I work at the best school in the world.

My son has been at Seaside North for 4 years now and he is thriving. The teachers and staff truly care about the students and make a fun and enriching learning environment. They not only teach academics but the whole child. They also focus on emotions, socal behavior and how to respect and get along with others. Highly recommend this school!
