Awful experience at this school. I felt unsafe around teachers and was regularly mocked infront of the school for misunderstandings. The teachers would make false accusations about students stealing and saying inappropriate things to teachers. If you tried to challenge those accusations the administration would just label you as a problem student and do everything to get rid of you.

After transferring to Northeast, I've really enjoyed it. I've recently graduated and come from a different school in the county. One of the bigger things you'll notice as a student is how much silent (and loud) racism and unprofessional things happen here. One of the teachers has been said to say the n-word multiple times, and pretty much harassed a student "attempting" to apologize about it. Another teacher, reveals his concealed carry card to students and tells them to "not try him." The school itself is pretty good, but you'll notice a lot more snarkiness, and silent drama. From what I've experienced there's a pretty good range of demographic at the school. It's not always one set group of students in the honors/AP/Dual enrollment classes and most of the teachers seem to try to help the students succeed if they want to. The school is pretty good compared to other ones, but most people don't realize that and take it for granted.

Every teacher has a great plan. They work with students there attentive friendly. My daughter lost her father 2nd grade. They gave her a mentor. Teachers were on there toes. Email with great response principle is amazing.

Northeast High school pushes students to thrive for their best. With the school's Magnet, IB and the AP courses offered, students are continually challenged and stimulated to expand their knowledge. Every school has their pros and cons. Northeast not only was a place where I gained the knowledge to graduate but it was a place that prepared me for college. Many Northeast students have found themselves to attend IVY league colleges to well known universities. The teachers at Northeast are viewed as role models in not only teaching core lessons but instilling life lessons. Any student choosing to attend Northeast High School is guaranteed a rewarding four years of academic success and will be offered various opportunities centered on extracurricular activities, sports and experiences on volunteering.

Northeast is a good place to be. This school has an excellent administration, good teachers, good athletics, and is a safe school environment. Any issues it has are the same one would see at any high school. I have a senior and a freshman this year. Both are excellent students and both have made good friends.

Administration and Teachers really care, there is a really positive and well-structured environment. The students can feel it and there is mutual respect that I have seen at few schools. Any problems are those that exist in all schools these days and frankly they are dealt with more efficiently than many other schools, yet also from a place of caring & concern for kids well-being. Most negative reviews are older and in reference to previous administrations, so I would really say things are quite positive.

Wonderful academies to choice from, technology and finance. For kids who need more help the AVID program is one of the best in the country. Great administration and that starts from the principal. My daughter is finishing up her freshman year and we are very pleased. She is in all honors and AP classes so the kids in her classes are academically driven. It is a large school but if your child is driven the administration and teachers are all there to support your child.

This school has two incredible academies to choose from, the Information Technology and the Finance programs, and I am fortunate my daughter has been in the Information Technology program and is about to start her junior year. The school has great resources and really will help out with any parent questions, as long as you just ask. My daughter is excelling in her academics and fortunately has a vast array of courses to keep her interest. She's found great friends in the band, and your child can succeed if they want to. If they aren't interested in focusing and trying, then you'll get nothing more than a generic education no matter where you go. The shear size of the school means that if your child shows no drive, they are not going to coddled. If your student shows a great deal of effort, the teachers and staff will gladly help your child excel.
