I do not recommend the pre k program at Episcopal beaches. The head of the school and prek 3 teacher are rigid, not kind and they lack the capacity of dealing with children's diveristy. They dont work with the parents to see what options that will help to improve the child's learning or behaviour. They expect a prek child to behave like a robot the way they like only. The have a discrimination behaviour toward children and thier families.

My children attended Beaches Episcopal School and now my grandchildren are students. I could not be more pleased with the teachers and leadership. BES offers a safe, caring, and scholastically strong environment for my grandchildren. It is a crown jewel at the Beaches.

Beaches Episcopal is an amazing school. My two boys love going to school, and their teachers are fantastic! We switched from public school when my oldest was in second grade; he is thriving in this environment. BES keeps up with the latest technology and research to give the children the best education possible. They truly enhance the development of the whole child, instilling confidence and improving character. BES is a relaxed, fun environment, and the teachers encourage the child to learn in their own unique ways. We love BES!

Beware! This school has a rigid, unreponsive principal that refuses to listen to anyone's ideas but her own. Teachers seem to give assignments that are completely off topic and unnecessary. Although the kids seem to enjoy spending time with their friends, their seem to be far to many days off and not enough education for the cost of tuition. On top of this, to many teachers seem to be using videos as a substitue for actual teaching. My child reccieved a teacher that primarily taught by having the class watch videos and not actually teaching themselves. Overall, extremely disapapointed.

My children have been in Beaches Episcopal for the fourth year now. Perhaps there have been changes since the other reviews, but there is almost no TV watching time. They are getting a fantastic education. There seems to be a great balance of "book work time" and hands on learning experiences. I think the grandparents and challenge days add to the educational experience and not detract from it. My kids so look forward to those days throughout the year. BES has far less half days and days off than the public school system. The staff is caring and involved. My littlest is in pre k and if he has a day or two bad days, I love that the teacher will email to see if there is anything going on with him. They are quick ( within days) to offer after school time if one of them starts to struggle, whereas my fiance's daughter is in public school and she struggled for six weeks before anyone said a word. It is an expensive school, probably the highest priced in the area, but they are wonderful.
