This is a school I DO NOT RECCOMEND GOING TO! their faculty is harsh and unprofessional, I was a former student at this school and i got kicked out mid school year without a real valid reason, it was because "i don't live in cooper city" although i tried to apply for the school choice board, and there is ALOT of fights there, The students there are disrespectful, I advise you to not go to this school under any circumstances

worst school Ive been in drug users everywhere. No safety fights all time really bad teachers dont care about students at all dont send your kid to this school if you care about your kid.

This is the worst school to attend if you actually want an education. Every day feels like Pajama Daystudents walk around in slippers, and the principal does nothing to enforce dress code. Dont bother reading the handbook or the website; none of it applies. Classes are constantly disrupted by fire alarms being pulled, metal detectors, drug dogs, and police pat-downs. How can students focus with chaos like that? The computer lab is a jokebroken keyboards, missing keys, and teachers telling kids to share with a friend. How are they supposed to learn? Cheating runs rampant, and teachers look the other way just to push kids through with passing grades. Attendance is another messkids get marked absent even when sitting in class, all because teachers misread the line of names. That laziness gives students a bad reputation they dont deserve. Completely inexcusable.
The cafeteria food is equally pathetic: rotten apples, mystery beef mush, and a salad of two limp lettuce leaves with one cherry tomato. Oh, and bring a winter jacket as you will be sitting in classrooms / Trailers with MOLD for a health risk to your lungs for 90 mins. Yup, they keep the room so cold so the MOLD won't grow so fast. How do you like letting your child breathe in MOLD SPORES.

We pulled out as fast as we could. If you want your child to have no expectations, no structure, and no future, then Cooper City High School is for you. But if you want them to dream big and excelavoid this school at all costs.

The current education system requires improvement as many students lack interest and fail to see the connection to their future careers. Parental involvement is lacking, and while there are valuable resources available, teachers must strive to do better in engaging students effectively.

This school needs teachers and staff members that care! Students skip all the time, watching youtube, on social media. Students graders are below average and many physical fights!

My son graduated from cchs. The experiece was amazing; the teachers are always involved and making sure students needs are met academically no matter what. They go above and beyond to help them.

I went to CCHS and loved it as a kid. However 10 years later my special needs sister is wrapping up her time there and having a terrible time. My sister is a celebrated member of the community and is known all around town. She is a social butterfly and loved by many. My sister has enjoyed 5 of her 6 years there, and I can not tell you what joy that has brought our family. We attend the football games, participate in Best Buddies- we're an involved family! This year has been so different and it has forever changed my peception of Cooper City High School and the priorities of its administration. From safety, to punishments without reason, and even exclusion by her own teachers, we have seen it all this year. Cooper City maybe a wonderful place to live, but if you're considering CCHS I'd remain on high alert at all times. The focus is no longer about propelling students forward, but rather on managing to get through themselves through the day. It is my deepest hope that the administrative team at CCHS decides to hire teachers and leaders who care for their students, and care about the work that they do.

Most of the teachers are great. I had a few teachers that were a pain in the butt but that is life and we have to learn to deal with it. CCHS has less than 600 students, so the school isn't overcrowded what so ever. Go to Flanagan or Western and you'll see what overcrowded is. Flanagan you have to be a Senior before you are on the physical school campus.

I went to this school freshman year before I had to switch over. And I really do miss this school. Because I really had a great time while I was there. There are over 20 APs offered in CCHS, and honors classes in all subjects that have regular. They have more variety of electives most schools, such as Guitar 1, 3-D Art, Engineering, and many more. The atmosphere is great since they built the new building. Class sizes seem to have grown quickly, lots of new freshman coming here. The students are pleasant, and overall it's a SAFE school.

Ignore any prior reviews about our "moldy campus" - we just got a brand-new building and an open courtyard and all of it looks so beautiful and clean. The teachers are AMAZING, especially in the AP classes. I literally can't pick one favorite teacher because they're all that great. They're interesting and teach you how to think critically, and provide guidance as needed - even staying before/after school to provide extra help. I love my teachers and they love me! We also have so many stellar extracurricular programs, with some standouts being DECA (business program), ROTC (pre-navy program), speech and debate, drama, CTV (broadcast journalism), and early child care. Many of our students have gone on to top colleges, ranging from in-state at the University of Florida and University of Miami, to Ivys such as Harvard, Cornell, and the University of Pennsylvania, and other top schools including Duke and MIT. But there's really something here for every student, and this is a place where everyone can feel like they're part of a large, extended Cowboy family - you just have to find what you love, stick with it - and find ways to make it even better!

The worst school i ever sent my child to.He comes home literally crying.The school is awful how it smells in the classrooms and that moldy situation.Its disgusting!! My son tells me everything so i think i know.He said the children there are disgusting.Moving him ASAP!!
