Since joining Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in June 2024, I have been continually impressed by the warm, welcoming community and the dedication to both spiritual and academic excellence. As a middle school teacher and communicant member, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact this institution has on its students and congregation.
The faculty and staff are incredibly supportive, fostering an environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. The curriculum is well-rounded, integrating faith-based learning with a strong emphasis on academic achievement. The school's commitment to nurturing each student's unique talents and abilities is truly commendable.
The church community is equally remarkable, offering a variety of programs and services that cater to all age groups. The worship services are uplifting and inspiring, providing a sense of belonging and spiritual growth. The fellowship and outreach activities further strengthen the bonds within the community and extend support to those in need.
Overall, Immanuel Lutheran Church and School is a place where faith and education go hand in hand, creating a nurturing and enriching environment for everyone involved. I am grateful to be a part of this wonderful community and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a supportive and faith-centered environment.

As a parent, I am deeply disappointed with Immanuel Lutheran School (ILS). The education here is subpar, with teaching that fails to challenge or engage students effectively. The so-called "project-based learning" they boast about is nothing more than a facade. My child and others constantly express frustration at the lack of meaningful instruction, and it's clear that the school does not prioritize mental health or emotional well-being. ILS seems more concerned with keeping up appearances than supporting its students. Additionally, lunch prices are skyrocketing, and the value of what is offered does not come close to justifying the cost. On top of that, the tuition is outrageously high for the quality of education provided, making it a poor investment. Beyond academics, I am troubled by how the school seems to stray from upholding Christian values. They tolerate views that go against God's word, especially when it comes to issues like the acceptance of LGBTQ+ individuals, which I believe should not be allowed in a Christian school. Overall, I would not recommend this school to any parent. It fails to deliver on its promises, is far too expensive for what it offers, and does not provide a spiritually grounded environment for children.

My children just finished up their second year at Immanuel Lutheran School (3rd,1st grader). When we initially made the switch from public to private school we switched solely because we wanted our children to be able to learn about Jesus in school. Our switch to ILS was the best decision/move we could have made for our family. My kids come home excited to tell me about their day, they are absolutely thriving in school. ILS provides a wholesome faith based learning environment. They teach the standard school subjects like math, science and english well, but they also teach about how to be a good Christian and how to love your neighbor. Learning about Jesus is just as important as learning about math, science and english in my book, and ILS teaches about godÂ’s love well. Just a few examples of it are the weekly Bible versus the students are to memorize and recite, weekly morning chapel on Wednesdays (parents are invited), my third grader was gifted a bible from the school, saying grace before meal times, the whole school (students/teachers/parents) received ashes on Ash Wednesday, inviting whole classes to attend baptisms (my kids alone have witnessed 5 baptisms this school year), praying in class!!! My family loves this school and I could not recommend it more. It is such a great place to send your kids.

Military family who has experienced public school , homeschooling and now private schools; we have done it ALL throughout the years! During our short time stationed in Florida, we were lucky to found ourselves a home here at ILS. This is a tight knit family of students, teachers and staff. I have been so impressed with the curriculum at ILS, and have seen both the spiritual and educational growth in my children, not to mention, simply, their desire and enthusiasm to get up and go to school each day. As a parent, school volunteer, and part-time sub at ILS, I have been privileged to learn some of the inner workings, and have developed relationships students, staff, and teachers and I can say this is is truly a dedicated and passionate team that really loves their kids. ILS offers an array of Athletic/ Sport Team Opportunities for the kids throughout the year, and regularly meets in "Faith Families", both of which provide an opportunity for older grades to mix with younger grades, so all the kids know each other! Watching the 7th and 8th graders hug the kindergarteners goodbye in car line, or in passing in the hallway, or help them out and/or cheer them on at school events or in chapel has been one of my favorite things about this school. This is especially notable with our special needs students, who are loved, and supported by ALL. If you're looking for a uniquely educational and nuturing environment, where all the teachers and staff will know the name(s) of your kid and their siblings, look no further. ILS is not just a GREAT school, it's a family.

This is my son's fourth school. He was calling himself "stupid" and started hating math! My husband and I made the decision to send our son to Immanuel Lutheran because we wanted a Christ-focused education and our son wanted a fresh start in a new school. After less than a year we have seen a change. Our son told us that Immanuel is his favorite school, he even made honor roll. His teacher is loving but firm in her classroom handling. The principal has a loving commen sense approach to misbehavior and problems. I volunteer at the school and I can tell that everyone here is focused on the student and providing an enriching and Christ centered environment! We could not be happier with our school and I recommend Immanuel to everyone who is looking for a school!

Immanuel Lutheran School is a wonderful place for children to grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. The staff and teachers go above and beyond to create a faith-based learning environment where students feel supported and valued. ItÂ’s clear that the children truly enjoy being there, as the campus is always buzzing with excitement and joy.
Dr. Davis, the principal, brings a compassionate approach to leadership, using the Love and Logic method to guide students who may be facing challenges. This approach not only helps students learn from their experiences but also fosters respect and understanding.
While the school may not yet be as advanced in some areas of learning, the new administration is actively working to implement new curriculum and expand opportunities for students. ItÂ’s exciting to see their commitment to growth and improvement.
The involvement of the school board and pastors adds another layer of care and dedication, ensuring the health and well-being of all students remain a top priority. Immanuel Lutheran School is a nurturing, faith-filled environment where children can thrive. ItÂ’s truly a special place for families seeking a holistic and supportive education for their children.

My childrenÂ’s homeroom teachers have been amazing. However outside of that itÂ’s a disaster. I was told during enrollment that both of my children would be in Spanish class, the Spanish teacher doesnÂ’t speak Spanish, my 6th grader has been watching Dora and using duo lingo. The gym teacher has put her hands on two students and has a constant attitude. Just in two months my oldest has had three language arts teachers. They fired the 7th grade teacher today who was also the 6th grade science teacher, thereÂ’s a lack of stability for our children here. Their before and after care is a joke. ItÂ’s three 20 year old men, two who have no clue how to interact with children. I feel the curriculum for middle school isnÂ’t up to par with public schools. IÂ’ve requested a meeting with the principal countless times to no avail. ThereÂ’s no standards or accountability. Lunch is $6 a day, outrageous. My children havenÂ’t been on a single field trip, which was also mentioned during enrollment. I made a poor decision in sending my children to ILS.

our 3 kids love their teachers and the warm Christian attitude at this school. Only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is that I never give a perfect rating for anything.

Pk4 has been an excellent experience for our little one. We chose this place for their warm and family centered practices. Also, there's no shortage of happy kids here which is the best indicator of quality. Our son is learning, excited, respected and more confident since we enrolled. Ms Holly and Ms. Karla are an awesome duo in the classroom! We look forward to sending our little one again during the summer and the fall 2016

Excellent teachers and staff. Two of my children have been here for 3 years and it is with great sadness that they will be moving on. They have formed lasting relationships with their peers. The teachers have gone above and beyond the call of duty and have embraced them. They have been there to help them when they were struggling in an area. The school has family-friendly atmosphere and they make it easy to feel loved and accepted. I cannot say enough good things about Immanuel, except that I pray that the Lord will continues to bless them. They have been a blessing to my family.

Immanuel Lutheran School is a fantastic school! There is a family atmosphere on the campus. The teachers and principal are loving and caring. Individual attention is given to all students, with special intervention given to students where needed. The students perform well on the Stanford Achievement tests. The latest technology is used by students, teachers, and office personnel, but they are always looking to make improvements. More computers and tablets are needed. The facilities need to be updated. It is wonderful that former students are now sending their children to Immanuel. What a testimony to the education and care offered by this school!

We moved our son from an underperforming public school to Immanuel when he was starting 3rd grade...he's about to complete 5th grade and will be continuing on through the 8th grade at this wonderful school...the opportunities for him to grow and thrive are tremendous, and we know he is in a loving, caring, and safe environment every day, with a staff that loves their students and challenges them to be the best they can be...

This school is awful. Outdated facilities, curriculum, and they use their religious beliefs to control your interaction and involvement I the children's education.

Immanuel Lutheran School provides a great education in a Christian learning environment. Our daghter has attended Immanuel since kindergarten and we could not ask for a better experience. Not only has she developed close friends at school but our family has become close friends with many of the parents.

Immanuel Lutheran School is outstanding! I've been attending ILS for eight years now. I'm currently in the 7th grade. My older sibling also attended ILS for 9 years. I was around alot when I was a small child. I always felt welcome. Immanuel is my home-away from home. Some improvment I believe the school could use is not being so strict on the dress code. Other than that, it's a fantastic school enviorment. Are grades are PreK-8th grade. The classes are very informative, and the after school extra curricular activities are wonderful. Whatever grade your in,I can assure that you will have a great friendship with the whole student/staff body. The teachers and staff are all kindhearted and trustworthy. I know I can come to them with any problems I have :)) Thanks, -Student

Very good school - teachers who actually teach, structure, discipline and religious (moral) values evident. Good activities for kids - band, chorus, sports. Family atmosphere. Small class size and personal attention. Faculty and staff know all kids by name. Qualified teachers with strong educational/academic backgrounds. Very glad we send our child here - he was originally in public school and we made the switch to private when we moved from out of state.
