I am disappointed with the way this school handles student concerns and disciplinary matters. There appears to be a lack of consistency when enforcing rules, which creates the impression that certain students receive preferential treatment while others are held to different standards. Fairness and equality should be a priority in any educational environment, yet many decisions seem selective and influenced by favoritism rather than objective judgment.
Another concern is the involvement of staff members in student conflicts and personal drama. Rather than remaining neutral and focusing on resolving issues professionally, there have been instances where staff involvement has appeared inappropriate and has contributed to tensions among students. School personnel should serve as positive role models by maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and impartiality at all times.
Students deserve an environment where they feel respected, heard, and treated equally regardless of their background, social status, or relationships with staff members. Unfortunately, the current atmosphere has left many students feeling frustrated and unheard. I hope the administration takes these concerns seriously and works toward creating a more fair, professional, and supportive environment for all students.

Faith Outreach has been an amazing experience for my daughter. The teachers truly care about the students. The Principal, Miss Sierra runs a well ordered school, fairly and with kindness. The Assistant Principal, Mr Howard is an amazing man and it comes through in his teaching, in his youth ministry, and his school administration. The women in the front office keep everything flowing smoothly. Miss Teliza and Miss Joy take care of all the kids like they are their own. The Athletic Director, Miss Tori is 100% committed to helping the students thrive through athletics while teaching the great sportsmanship. Everyone at Faith Outreach is 100% committed to the success of the students. If you are looking for a safe environment for your child to thrive in, I highly recommend Faith Outreach.

This is my 4th child at FOA. My oldest child graduated college in 4 years with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science (entered HS at 13 and entered college at 17 on a basketball scholarship). Oldest attend FOA kindergarten, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. 8th grader is in Junior Honor Society throughout middle school attended and 6th grader both take all advance classes and both attended FOA K3-Kindergarten. Mrs Samone enriched to her gifted ability did an incredible job for youngest daughter, 5 year old currently attends Kindergarten at FOA and is doing a great job so far. Mrs Jackson awesome teacher (nurturing, loving, caring, respectful, understanding), Mrs Rodriguez kind, loving, nurturing, respectful. Mrs Tammie great but tough when need be and sweetest person on the flip side. Mrs Tammie was able to adapt to my unorthodox personality and strong desire to maximize the abilities of my kids. Mrs Sierra great Principal overall understanding loving, caring. I love the Abeka system for the kids especially in the elementary years (3 years old to 7 years old). There are obviously some areas the school could improve in but you have some diamonds in the school. Majority of education and behavior patterns come from home.
P.S. FOA gave my kids a good foundation academically, mentally and spiritually.

This school is the complete opposite of what you would want your child to attend. They say that you will develop strong moral principles but that is not the case my fellow bretheren through Christ Jesus. This school is characterized by greed, one of the seven deadly sins. The school takes in so much money from the parents yet they donÂ’t use said money to actually improve the academy in any way. The teachers seem to always be incompetent in the way of teaching, and they usually never last for more than one year before switching. At least one teacher even leaves throughout the school year. The children are being punished for the simplest things that they shouldnÂ’t be scolded as harshly as they are because they are still developing good, Christian habits. They are given sentences for simply talking in class and they have difficulty due to them learning how to write, and in cursive as well. They seem to get the teachers from whatever background and cannot stay with one as they are usually poor teachers. The staff favors certain people and give them special treatment and give them certain opportunities that other students simply cannot have because they donÂ’t have the connections. The homework given is not balanced at all. The teachers give homework with a very unreasonable amount of time without any consideration to the other classes students have. The teachers arenÂ’t very good role models at all, and thereÂ’s hardly any discipline due to favoritism. That makes the teacher themselves hypocritical because they say that we are all treated equally in terms of discipline which is not the case. The school has been around for 30 years and has yet to be accredited and they only started the process last year. One of the reviews are from a previous teacher which really stood up for the students but still got sacked, she was the only competent teacher who actually taught anything and she gave a good English experience and was an amazing role model who was righteous and held great moral standards, the exact person who you would want at a Christian institution to lead the students to a righteous path to praising our Lord. This school is definitely not the choice for our children, they should be raised in a good Christian environment where they are led closer to the Divine Creator every day. Unfortunately this isnÂ’t the case with the school, go somewhere else. Amen.

I worked here. Do not send your child here. They only care about your money and how good the school looks on the outside. The curriculum was on ipads and there was essentially no need for a teacher in the high school part. It was set up to read a section and answer questions directly from the text, at least for english and social studies. But many students that had aged through the school couldn't even do that. I felt bad for the students, half of them in 9-12 couldn't write a proper paragraph. I had to teach basic grammar to high schoolers. I had some very bright students, but I felt this school and it's curriculum were holding them back. Trying to discipline students was impossible. No action was ever taken. The administration definitely favors staffs' students and the school's athletes. They don't even stand behind their teachers. There are cameras in every room, I thought that would help. Nope, Admin watches classes over the phone and shows their favorite students the stream as well and would have a laugh about it. Oh, and most high schools are supposed to prepare 11/12th graders for applying for college... Not this one. My students didn't even know what the SAT/ACT was or had a timeline for taking the tests and sending applications. This school doesn't have to give the FCAT/FSA, but it does provide a test with the acronym SAT, but it isn't the test in which colleges request test scores for admission, but many students were under the assumption it was the same. Many were in shock when I told them this.
Head my warning, Please send your child somewhere else.

Very deceiving to parents and staff. Things not handled with honesty. I feel bad for the staff because the administration does not back them up at all. Staff has no opportunities for advancement. Bad parents rule the school. Good parents have no say!

Most of the staff are walking on eggshells..Lots of tension at times and bad snappy attitudes often. Money for every little thing. Unacceptable behavior and to much pressure for students over little things. Very upset to see this at Christian school. From a distance appears great but .........it's not. The reviews should tell you something. Not trying to be harsh but it's the truth.

PLEASE do not choose this school. We left last year, and we are GLAD we did! This is an example of what you see is NOT what you get. Near the end, we were treated so poorly. We were devastated. The scars from this treatment are still there. All I can do is warn others.....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I had one child in fourth grade in 2012 had a wonderful experience my son went back for fifth grade by that time they had hire a new teacher for fifth grade he was awful the most inappropriate teacher you will ever meet in your life he was lazy and on Facebook in class, when I spoke to the principal which was twice she said she would take care of it and nothing changed. By this time I had another child in kindergarden the teacher was amazing my child loved his teacher he cried for about a week after school was over for his teacher. I decided to give it another try after all they fired the fifth grade teacher. Not even a month into school and my son now is a six grader and his teacher is already giving me problems. My first grader is so unhappy with his teacher that last year everyday he came home he always talked about his day at school, now he doesn't want to even talk about it. I would think because it is a private school they would be very selective in the teachers they hire but is not that way at all it looks like they hire whatever comes thru the door. In a Christian school there should be love, patience, kindness, and other Christ like characteristics not in this school.

We love this school! Everyone here has become part of our family. All the staff and teachers are GREAT! Everyone is always willing to help in everything they can. A few examples; My daughter started there with problems in math and was quickly assigned a teacher which gives her extra help with math. My son started there with severe ADHD, in which at the time I did not believe in ADHD. I hated that he had to be on medication, because it changed my "happy-go-lucky" son. His medication was changed a few times, but through all of this everyone helped him and stood by him. Yes, he recieved a few write-ups but his 5th grade teacher, one of the best teachers I have ever known, and the staff never gave up on him. He has gone from more than a few write-ups and C's to straight A's and Pricipal's Honor Roll. I also love how quickly they take care of any issues. There were some children teasing my son, the principal had a talk with the class and ended the problem. The security has always been great but they quickly made it even better to protect our children. My youngest which is 5, reads, writes in cursive, and has learned things that my other ones didn't know in 2nd grade at another school.

Some of the staff is very rude in the office. This is not good at a christian school, where is the example here? Everything seems to be about money, money, money. How disappointing. The school is to demanding. People always in attitudes. So appauling. I don't want this for my son. And I pay for this on top of it all!

This school is a JOKE!! complete rip-off. Staff is very rude in the school office most of the time. The school is also money hungry. the only thing going for it is chapel. they also show favortism to staff children that is not right or fair. unbelievable to be a christian school. so disappointed

This school lacks in customer service skills. The office staff is inconsiderate except for Principal Sierra. It's 2 weeks into the school year and the only reason I'm keeping my child in this school is because I like the teacher. If there is a concern the office staff acts like you're bothering them and they don't care that this is your first year in this school.

Hello, I just wanted to say that I went to this private school grades K-4 -5th grade and I really enjoyed it! After 5th grade I went to Rollin Park Middle school, Farnel Middle school, and then graduated from Alonso high school. I was in honors classes throughout school and I m about to graduate with a BS in Accounting from USF. Out of my academic experiences I would rate Faith Outreach 5 stars because it is truly the one place that I really made connections with my teachers. Mrs. Sierra (my 5th grade teacher and I think now the principle) by far one of my favorite and most memorable teachers. The classes were always very small making the learning experience much more enjoyable for me. Thanks for reading this! And Mrs. Sierra if you ever read this thanks a lot for everything! Beth Passow.
