everyday i get calls from the school to ensure morning drop off time is not dangerous but while i try to respect people drop off they are not respecting mine i get told things while other people continue to abuse to drop off time

Good teachers and school, but the main office staff and principal have Horrible organization skills and treat the parent poorly and unfairly. No wonder the PTA falls short

Lakeside Elementary is a sweet school. The staff is amazing and work well together. This school sets high expectations for their students and do a phenomenal job ensuring students meet their academic growth. I love how they involve the community in every event they do. If you are wondering whether or not to send your kid here, do it. You will not regret being a part of this beautiful community.

I would absolutely recommend this school for K-5th grade. It was through a recommendation from friends and co-workers which were students themselves as well as their kids which led me to send my child to Lakeside Elementary. My child was not the strongest student, but the teachers were always there to notify us if there was a subject matter in which my child was struggling in. The teachers would collaborate on areas where he needed help and send extra assignments for him to work on if needed. I definitely saw growth in his maturity, desire to learn and improve as a student throughout the years. I have nothing, but good things to say about our experience at Lakeside from the administration, faculty, front desk, and aftercare team. I am grateful for our time there at Lakeside Elementary and will miss the love and support we received as he is now advancing to middle school. Keep up the great work and as always Go Gators !!!!!!!!

Lakeside is an amazing Elementary School. They thrive to be a A rated school and their academic level is excellent. The teachers care for the students and their success. All the staff in general does a great job to make Lakeside a great and safe institution for the kids attending the school.

Our family had a wonderful experience at this school, and were so grateful that both of our children were able to attend. The teachers and staff are caring, supportive, and truly invested in each childs growth. Its a special community that helped build a strong foundation for our kids, and well always appreciate it.

Lakeside Elementary has been an amazing place for my child to begin their educational journey. During their kindergarten year, they learned so much academically while also building confidence, independence, and friendships. The caring teachers and staff created a welcoming environment where my child felt safe, supported, and excited to come to school each day. Watching them grow from a nervous kindergartener into a confident learner has been incredible, and we are so grateful for the strong foundation Lakeside has provided for future success.

Best elementary school in Pines! Admin and staff are amazing! Both of my boys went from kinder to 5th grade. They did not have 1 bad teacher. All of the teachers are so knowledgeable, dedicated and caring. Very grateful to Lakeside for giving my boys an amazing education and elementary experience!

My child attended Lakeside from 3rd grade to 5th grade, which she just completed. She entered as a shy kid in a new school and graduated a confident kid, ready for Middle School as part of the Cambridge program, all with the help of the education received at Lakeside. My child had continued gains in all her classes and if ever there was a concern, the teachers were great at communicating and helping with tutoring and online tools to help her succeed. Forget grateful to Lakeside Elementary.

My daughter has been going to this school since kindergarten and I am confident that this school does value pushing our kids to be their best, encouraging parents to be involved and loving on the kids in all of their phases. I've loved all of her teachers and I'm happy that her younger siblings have the chance to grow up with Lakeside Elementary's staff. The principal Dr Rodriguez is also an easy fave. He shows that he cares for the kids.

My daughter began her journey at this school in Kindergarten during one of the most challenging times for students and educators alikethe COVID-19 pandemic. She experienced both virtual learning and the transition back to in-person classes, and throughout every stage, the school provided the support, guidance, and care she needed to succeed.

Over the years, this school has been much more than a place of learning. It has been a safe, welcoming environment where children are genuinely cared for. The staff consistently prioritizes making students feel secure, comfortable, and excited about learning while creating a positive and engaging educational experience.

Our daughter was fortunate to have many outstanding teachers throughout her elementary school years. Their dedication, commitment, and passion for teaching played an important role in both her academic growth and personal development. We would especially like to recognize Mrs Wasserman, Mrs Rasmussen, Mrs Beaumont, Mrs Amaro, Miss Campos, and Mrs Rodriguez, Mrs. Layne, Mr Aleman, Mr La Fontant, all of whom made a lasting impact on our daughters education and helped shape the confident student she is today.

As our daughter now prepares to begin Middle School, we look back with tremendous gratitude for everything this school has done for her. The teachers, administrators, principals and staff are truly exceptional, and we are incredibly thankful for their support throughout these formative years.

We wholeheartedly recommend this school to any family in the area. It has been an amazing experience for our daughter and our family, and we will always be grateful for the positive influence it has had on her education, confidence, and overall growth.

My twins just completed the 5th grade dual language program at Lakeside, and we had a great experience there. They were there from Kindergarten through fifth grade, and I can say with confidence that Lakeside is truly a safe space. Dr. Rodriguez and Mrs. Leal have done a wonderful job of making a great school even better. The teachers are so dedicated, and the turnover rate has been very low from what I've seen.
Their PTA is very active and really works hard to make school more engaging and fun for students. If Lakeside switched to a K-8th school, I'd send my kids there for middle school.

Lakeside Elementary has been a fantastic experience for our family. Both of our children are enrolled in the Dual Language program, and we couldnt be happier with their progress. The teachers are dedicated, compassionate, and truly invested in their students growth both academically and personally.

The Dual Language program is one of the schools strongest assets. Our kids are not only becoming fluent in both English and Spanish, but theyre also developing a deeper appreciation for different cultures. Its incredible to see their confidence grow in both languages.

Lakeside fosters a welcoming, inclusive community where families feel supported and children are encouraged to thrive. Were so grateful to be part of this school and highly recommend it to any family seeking a well-rounded, bilingual education in a nurturing environment.

Lakeside Elementary is a hidden gem in Pembroke Pines. The dual language program provides a strong educational foundation in English and Spanish. Kindergarteners dont need to speak Spanish to start in the program. They just need to be prepared for kindergarten to be eligible. My son is in fifth grade now, and he has not complained about having to go to school once! His teachers have been truly exceptional, including the specials teachers. The new principal, Dr. Rodriguez, and AP, Ms Leal, have a clear vision for the school and are working hard to instill GRIT in all the little scholars. Finally, the PTA is very active and enthusiastic at Lakeside. Strongly recommend!

Ever since the new principal arrived, this school has headed downhill. Unfortunately, all he cares about is optics and numbers, regardless of what it takes to get those numbers. Reformulating their dual language program to ensure only already Spanish speaking children are in it is one way in which those numbers will be skewed to show success. If your child struggles in any way, be prepared to be pushed aside and have your child treated with complete apathy. The students well being is not cared for at all. All thats cared about is what number your child can contribute to the school grade. Dont let the A fool you. Beware.
