We move around often because we're military. Overall, this has been the best school my children have attended among all the Christian schools we have put them in. It is not a chino school (Christian in name only). They actually uphold biblical principles. My children come home singing their hearts out the songs they learn in school. I will be very saddened to get orders soon to leave this school, and so will my children.
I always worry where I send my kids to school if it will be a positive influence between fellow classmates or not and since being at this school for 2 years. I feel so confident in the teachers and their influence on my kids. I adore this school.

Our experience at Pinewood has been wonderful. My son started Pinewood in VPK. We only planned to have him there for VPK, but we fell in love with the school and we kept him there (now he’s in 8th grade)! It has been another financial cost to keep him in private school, but the rewards have been abundantly worth it. I believe it is still the most affordable private school in the area. Pinewood’s class size is small and we don’t have to worry about too many kids crowded in a classroom. Also, if my son needs extra help or has questions about a lesson, his teachers make themselves available before and after school for extra help. Most importantly, the children get to learn about God every day. My son has always received a Bible lesson every day, and their chapel is weekly. The school’s primary emphasis is raising Christ followers, which is extremely important to our family. Academics and electives are very good here too. Field trips and all the annual big school events are always very fun to students and families. One of the best decisions we ever made was enrolling our son here!

My children attended Pinewood Christian Academy through the 8th grade. Upon graduating, they both attended public high school, taking advanced classes, and were surprised at how easy the public school class load was compared to PCA. The faculty always went above and beyond to make sure the children were both encouraged and challenged, including several months of after-school help for a minor learning disability. Finally, the spiritual atmosphere is great, the students are taught not just about the bible, but are encouraged to act out their faith through community involvement and student interactions.
