Especially that reading levels are declining nationwide, I could not be happier with our experience at Sagemont Prep. After being in Mrs. Teran’s kindergarten class, my son is already reading ABOVE grade level. It has been amazing to watch the growth in his confidence and to hear him read such complex words with ease. Mrs. Teran has an academically strong environment that truly sets students up for success. I am so grateful for the foundation she has given him this year!

As parents, we could not be more grateful for the experience our kids had during their first year at Sagemont. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed into a caring, supportive, and loving environment that truly made all the difference for our family.

We want to especially thank Mrs. Galarza, Mrs. Hartstone, Mrs. Adriana, and all the wonderful teachers who played such an important role throughout this year. Their patience, dedication, kindness, and genuine care helped our kids feel safe, happy, and excited to learn every single day.

What stands out the most is not only the education, but the love and attention the teachers give to every child. Children may forget certain lessons over time, but they never forget how they were made to feel, and this school has created beautiful memories that our family will always cherish.

Thank you to the entire staff and Directors for all the effort, heart, and passion you put into your work every day. It truly shows, and we feel very lucky to have been part of this community.

We couldn’t be happier with our children’s first year at Sagemont Preparatory School. As a family who recently moved, our kids faced the additional challenge of adapting to a new language, and their progress has been truly incredible.
Our older child’s improvement in reading, especially with Mrs. Teran, has been remarkable in just a few months. We deeply appreciate the constant feedback on his progress and the guidance on how we can support him at home.
With our younger one, we are so impressed by how much he understands and how he has started to feel confident speaking in English. Watching that confidence grow has been a joy to see.
Beyond the academic achievements, what moves us most is the warmth and kindness of their teachers. They have supported our boys through this transition with so much encouragement and care, making the experience welcoming and positive from day one. It truly means a lot to our family.
The teachers at Sagemont Preparatory School don’t just teach, they genuinely invest in each child. The sense of community and belonging our children have found here is something we didn’t take for granted, and we are deeply grateful for it. We wholeheartedly recommend this school.

Sagemont Preparatory School is an exceptional school in every sense of the word. The academics and programs are truly world-class, and the teachers are phenomenal—deeply invested, inspiring, and committed to excellence. The school environment is warm, supportive, and extremely safe, which gives families real peace of mind. The administrative team is simply the best: responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely dedicated to the success of both students and parents. The diversity within the school community is the icing on the cake, creating a rich, inclusive environment where students thrive academically and personally. We couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Amazing experience from the age of 4 until now the age of 11. Will continue into the upper campus until high school graduation. Amazing academics, athletics, teachers, administration. The best money my husband and I have spent in our entire lives is with the investment of education at Sagemont Prep. Highly recommend on every level.

Our children are thriving at Sagemont Preparatory! We could not be more pleased with the close community feeling this school provides. Each faculty member is involved in the daily care and support of each child. The teachers are phenomenal and treat everyone with compassion. The school promotes independence and respect which are imperative for development. The principal, Mrs. Vigna is a true gem. To have a principal help get your children out of the car each day, along side of BSO is a breath of fresh air for parents. We know our children are safe and extremely happy with their Lion home!

Sagemont Preparatory Lower School provided me with a strong foundation that truly prepared me for my academic journey through middle school, high school, and now as a student at the university. The nurturing environment and personalized approach to education fostered not just academic excellence but also personal growth, confidence, and a love for learning.

One of the standout aspects of my time at Sagemont Lower School was the principal's leadership. Her unwavering support and dedication to every student’s success made a lasting impact on me. She took the time to understand each student’s individual needs and ensured we felt valued and cared for. Whether through her words of encouragement, her open-door policy, or her visible presence around campus, she cultivated an atmosphere where students felt safe, supported, and motivated to thrive.

The faculty at Sagemont Lower School mirrored this commitment to excellence and care. Teachers tailored their instruction to meet students where they were, providing personalized attention and fostering a genuine passion for learning. The staff worked collaboratively to create a nurturing environment where students felt empowered to achieve their best.

Sagemont Lower School’s focus on both academic rigor and personal development laid the groundwork for my success in middle and high school, shaping the student I am today. I am incredibly grateful for the principal’s vision and the entire team’s dedication to creating an environment that felt like a second home. Sagemont Lower School is an exceptional place for young learners to begin their journey, and I will always look back on my time there with gratitude and fondness.

My daughter has attending Pre K and now Kinder at Sagemont and the difference I have seen in her socially and educationally has been huge. she went from a shy 4 year old with no friends to a social butterfly with a handful of very sweet and loving friends. The staff and teachers go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcomed and seen, it literately feels like a big family to both my daughter and I, which I feel like it’s the most priceless thing about this school. Academically my daughter has grown so much as well, learning how to read with Mrs Teran and now improving so much in math and writing with Mrs Batlle. I would highly recommend this school to anyone seeking to find a solid, reliable and kind community of people all working to help your child learn, build confidence and grow lasting and meaningful relationships!

This is our 3rd year at Sagemont Prep and we now have 3 children enrolled from Preschool to 2nd grade. Our youngest just started Preschool and what an amazing transition it has been. She has become more confident and social since she began. All 3 of our children love going to school each day. They have formed amazing friendships with their peers and strong relationships with their teachers and administration. If you want a school where your child feels safe, valued, and accepted, look no further. Between academic and social expectations we feel confident our children are set up for success. Sagemont Prep has been the best decision for our family.

Our daugther did a pre-preschool year in France (for 2 years old) when she arrived in preschool at SAGEMONT last december. the welcome was warm and my daughter loved to go to her new school. The level was hight but her teacher did a so great job that our daughter quiclky had the level of the other students (who were 7 in a classroom which help to give, in my opinion, a personnal teaching to our daughter). Less than 1 year later, in august, I applied for the 2nd school in the nation (American Heritage) who asked for my daughter to sit for a test. She did so well that she had 99/100: imagine, a few months ago, she was in a french system. This is thanks to SAGEMONT who helped my daughter to get this level. The teaching is so good that we decided to continue with SAGEMONT, and because of the family atmosphere of this school (6 children in PreK, large and clear classrooms, a preK teacher, MRs CLDERON who call or text when my daughter is sick and good level to pass test!)

My daughter has been at Sagemont for 2 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the school. Academically, they hold the bar very high. The class sizes are small which allows for more 1:1 instruction from the teachers. Sagemont encourages and welcomes parent involvement. My daughter loves going to school everyday! They have tons of specials (even for the little ones) such as swim, art, spanish, gym, innovation lab, music etc. The lower school collaborates a lot with the upper school (lower school attends events at the upper and vice versa). The administration is always present and available to answer questions. The teachers are noticeably vested in making sure the students developing. They encourage the kids to think outside box. The school is safe. They also have many fun activities and class parties throughout the year. I look forward to having my daughter at Sagemont for many years to come.

"There is always a message behind your pain. The moment you hear it, the pain will go."
"Pain is a weakness leaving the body always".

I was on serious pain in my life all around my body besides my GOD YAHWEH, I couldn't find no one to support me. after all me and my wife made a phone call to SageMont School Academy, they excepted our son for us.
Every since then they welcome us to the school and in to the neighborhood and we fall in love with them since then.
SageMont Staffs makes me believe sometimes my son is far more better being with them instead to be with me. i do believe in that, because they are teachers, and where there's teachers, " I meant good teachers" your child should be comfortable and you should too. i can tell the whole World about that school for their children, yes it's a private school but it worth it. my message for all the teachers at SegeMont Academy is to stays like you've already been or become awesome more and more.

You see, sometimes life does not make sense and though the waves of change you will find your true direction for your greatness. SageMont was that great direction for me and my family when it comes to my son.

Lastly: " you can see pain is a gift that gets you on the path meant for you"!

My experience at the school has been positive. We were open about my child's special needs and they were accommodating. To have the best experience for your child you have to come with an open heart and mind so the school can work with you to better support you. I can personally say I have seen that support and my child will continue at Sagemont until graduation.

Sagemont prioritizes each child’s individual needs to help them reach their full potential. The faculty and staff go above and beyond to get to know the students and create a warm and welcoming environment. My son is excited to go to school everyday and share with us his different learning opportunities. Sagemont Prep School is not just a school, but rather a comprehensive educational experience. When you mention the word school, the mind goes immediately to academics. The Sagemont curriculum is both challenging and flexible. Small class sizes allow teachers to focus and cater to the individual needs of each student. Materials and lessons morph as students progress. The willingness of the staff to create challenging lessons that engage students is top notch. Students are encouraged to take an active role in learning through centers, discussions and projects.

In other programs, electives are an afterthought. This is not the case at Sagemont Prep. Students are immersed in art, music, theater, language and sports from the very beginning. Elective lessons receive the same amount of depth and care as traditional subjects.

Academics and electives are not the only component of a school. Truly it is the culture that sets Sagemont Prep apart from others. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming from the moment one enters the building. It is abundantly clear that the teachers and staff love the students and take pride in what they do. Staff makes a point to get to know each family and is responsive to parent feedback.

The final component to an educational experience is the student perspective. My child loves going to school. As a parent, what more can you ask for?

Sagemont Prep School is an outstanding educational institution that provides a nurturing environment for children to thrive academically and personally. My daughter is currently enrolled in the pre-kindergarten program, and I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with the school.

The first thing that stands out about Sagemont is its diverse community. The school is home to families from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, which creates a vibrant learning atmosphere for the students. My daughter is exposed to a wide range of perspectives and experiences, which I believe is essential for her growth and development.

Another standout feature of Sagemont is the small class sizes. With fewer students in each class, the teachers have the opportunity to work with each child on an individualized learning plan. This approach ensures that my daughter's unique strengths and weaknesses are recognized, and she receives the support she needs to achieve academic success.

Sagemont Prep School also offers a comprehensive and diverse curriculum that helps students develop a wide range of skills and interests.
One unique aspect of the curriculum is the focus on mindfulness. Starting at a young age, students are taught the importance of mindfulness and how to practice it in their daily lives, which will serve them well in both childhood and adulthood. This focus on mental health and well-being is essential for children's growth and development, and I am grateful that Sagemont recognizes its importance on the path to raising young people that will grow into healthy, well-adjusted, functional, whole people.

Sagemont also recognizes the importance of technology in education and offers coding and innovation classes that introduce students to concepts such as programming and robotics. This technical foundation in innovation creates pathways to new ways of thinking and problem-solving to help these young learners evolve into the future leaders that are ready to meet & answer the changing world.

In less than a year, my daughter has achieved learning things far beyond what I thought possible, and I feel confident that she will continue to excel at this school. I highly recommend Sagemont to any parents looking for an excellent educational institution for their children.

The Sagemont School has become our second home. My child has been able to make leaps and bounds academically and socially since attending Sagemont.
Sagemont’s philosophy encompasses not just academics, but the social and emotional learning perspective in child development. My child enjoys going to school and is not stressed in learning material that is just on what is tested on a state exam. She has been able to reach and excel in the academic expectations for her grade level, while still enjoying being a child.
Providing a well rounded academic experience and time for family and extracurricular activities sets Sagemont apart from other schools. In fact, clubs and enrichment classes have allowed for my child to be exposed to different opportunities and interests that not offered often. Sagemont has provided many opportunities in our community for students to showcase their talents, whether in the arts, science or academics. Most importantly, teachers take the time to truly learn what your child excels in and provides them the opportunity to shine!
The school environment makes a world of a difference for our entire family. Being the PTO President at Sagemont, I have seen first hand how the school continues to listen to the parent voice seriously, make betterments and have parent involvement in all student’s school experience.
Lastly, the administrators, teachers and staff are wonderful and truly care for the emotional well being of all Sagemont students. This has been the best decision we made for our child hands down!

We are very happy to have made the decision to come to the Sagemont school. We have a son going to 4th grade and a daughter going to 2nd grade. This is our 3rd year in the school. Once you join the school you are really part of a family. There is a big sense of community here. Every single staff member knows who my kids are. The curriculum is excellent. They personalize learning inside the classrooms and they focus on the whole child. They also focus on problem solving and critical thinking as part of the curriculum. The character education is amazing and you can tell the kids are raised to be good kids here. I also even visited the upper campus and was impressed by the robotics, pre-professional internships giving the students real life experience, mock trial classes, AP capstone program and a very impressive college counselor program.

Yes, we get the right amount of homework.

Teachers really knows your child very well academically and socially. They focus on the whole child. I was always very impressed on the parent teacher conferences on how well the teachers knew my kids and also how they care about them. The teachers are very passionate on what they do here.

Posted: June 4, 2020

Character education is huge here! It is actually pretty amazing. They constantly talk to the students about kindness, respect, bullying. This is a school that develops the whole child. The kids are well behaved.

They constantly give classes explaining the importance of kindness. The characters education is big here. AMAZING!

We are very happy at Sagemont Lower School. Since day one we felt welcomed by the staff and the other families. Class sizes are small, teachers well prepared and easy to talk to. The curriculum is competitive, however the small class size minimizes the risk of a student falling behind. Additionally, there is a good selection of extracurricular activities.
What we really appreciate is the easy access to any staff, including the principal.

We were pleased to witness an almost seamless transition to distance learning during the Covid-19 situation, with the teachers going above and beyond to ensure content delivery, and seized the opportunity for unique experiences such as an interactive Kenya safari (live via YouTube) thus maintaining their students engaged.

What a horrible experience we had! At first the school administration were kind, helpful, and understanding of our child's learning difficulties and bullying experiences. Before the end of the first week we received a call stating that our child was not welcomed back to class. No reason was given. I then had to explain to our child that they were not allowed to return. Our child was heartbroken! We had to search for schooling with the year having started, classes full, and a learning environment that would uplift a low self-esteem child. It took a month...a month of missed education, of disappointment with school after school filled, of trying to understand what our child did wrong. To date Sagemont has not provided any reasoning, has not returned any of over $2500 entry fees, and caused our child's scholarship funding to be unpayable the first quarter. In our experience and opinion, it's about the money and being a "normal" child.

All of my daughters teachers have catered her learning to her learning style, truly personalizing the learning for her. I love the different approaches and learning opportunities for my child. It is a very student centered environment.

Posted: November 5, 2018

Bullying is not tolerated and closely handled by teachers, administrators and Guidance counselor. They promote conflict resolution and use a big push on kindness as an anecdote to bullying.

Posted: November 5, 2018

Sagemont believes in moderate amount of homework. I like that the bulk of the learning happens at school and at home it is just review and practice. It allows me to spend more quality time with my daughter as well as gives me opportunities to put her in extracurricular.

Posted: November 5, 2018

The teachers are all amazing. All of their teachers are certified in their specific subject areas (even the specials teachers). In my past 4 years here my daughter has had all excellent educators. Her teachers go out of the way to personalize her learning and she has grown so much! The teachers are even Apple certified now!

Posted: November 5, 2018

I really appreciate that Sagemont goes beyond academics and focuses a lot on character education and conflict resolution. The Guidance Counselor is amazing. She does small groups with students and character lessons every month. The school truly promotes respect and integrity.

Posted: November 5, 2018

Administration greets students and families every day with a warm smile and by name. They are always with an open door policy and willing to meet with parents to address any questions or concerns. They take the time to make Sagemont a true family environment.

Sagemont has been the biggest blessing for my child. She has made so many strides since starting here both academically and socially. She gets to really love to learn at Sagemont. I highly recommend this school to all my friends and colleagues.

This is our first year in this school and i have 2 kids enrolled at Sagemont (preK and 1st grade). We absolutely love the school and we are beyond impressed with the level of customer service by the staff. I chose this school because of the school size and because of the nurturing family feel. All the staff knows who my family is and who my kids are. There is definitely a sense of community here. The character education is phenomenal. I notice the kids even on upper levels all seem to be well behaved kids. Good families here and i feel we made already so many memories. We already visited the upper campus too to get an idea of what is coming in the future and i was very excited to hear about their college counseling program. They start developing and guiding the kids as soon as they go to the upper campus and because of the size of the school they really get individualized attention. The kids have all the resources they need to choose the college of their choice. Education is very important to our family and we have no doubt we made the right choice. So excited for my kids!

With three kids at different levels, my experience has been wonderful . This school prepared them to succeed with very high scores and mature personalities in middle and high school.

My daughter has attended the Lower School Campus for 4 years. The experience has been amazing. The small classes allow teacher to understand the needs of each child and they get personalized attention. Not only at an academic level but at a personal level too. Our daughter is very happy. We feel at home. The families are very involved. The Principal is very receptive to feedback . We highly recommend the Sagemont School.

My two daughter's go to Sagemont and love the school. They are happy, enjoy school and love to be there. As a parent I would recommend Sagemont, it is our second home, I love how my girls are learning culture, character development, and academic standards.

My child has been at Sagemont for about 3 years. During this time I have seen tremendous growth and incredible support. Her teachers have been amazing. They truly care and provide personalized instructions that meets my daughter's needs. The guidance counselor, Mrs. Zea, is always available to help and works closely with our family to ensure my daughter is being successful. The front office is very friendly too. We feel at home here at Sagemont.

My children have been enrolled in The Sagemont School (Lower Campus) for the past four year. They have both had a very positive experience at this school. They are excited to go to school each day and they are have great experiences with their teachers. What I like most about this school is how they focus on the whole child - academically, physically, emotionally - by providing a variety of experiences. I feel that they they have helped my children become well-rounded, happy, and well-education kids. I would recommend this school to anyone.

Several of my friends have their children attending Sagemont and really love it. They are so happy, the kids are learning a lot, the teachers really care, the administration is on the ball, and the environment is very welcoming. I have no doubt that my future children would be very successful with a Sagemont education. Just seeing the progress my friends' children have made is testament enough to how great this school is. I was able to come to one of their events last year and felt a real "family" vibe. Can't wait to bring my kids here.

My daughter had attended Sagemont since the 3rd grade. My wife and I could not be more satisfied with her experience at both campuses, and she graduated Sagemont well prepared for college. The administration is open minded and willing to discuss any suggestion we have had, and the teachers are very supportive and caring. We could not be happier and I cannot see a better option anywhere else in the area!

Too many drugs/ teachers don't care about it and are badly treated if they do.

My son is super happy junior year especially with his teachers.. He is starting to look at colleges and they are being extra helpful

The Sagemont School has offered my child a unique experience. It has provided a multi cultural submersion, high standard academics, up to date technology, safety and caring. The teachers are willing to go above and beyond for each child assuring they are receiving all the support they need in every sense of the way. The School provides several opportunities for parents to volunteer and see what the their child's day is about and the learning process they are going through.

We've been part of the Sagemont community for the past 7 years. Our son is currently in 5th grade and our daughter in 2nd grade. We're extremely pleased with the school in general. Under the tutelage of caring and very competent teachers, our children have truly blossomed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sagemont to anyone who is looking for a nurturing, caring, and academically stimulating environment for their children.

We've moved to Sagemont from other private school and we could not be happier! They have a safe environment, a great curriculum and the staff and teachers are always available, helpful and kind. My kids LOVE the school and they are motivated to learn and be better day after day. As parents, we feel we have made a great choice for our kids' education.

Our son has been at Sagemont since the 2nd grade and is currently in the middle school. He has truly benefitted from the small class sizes, the individualized attention, the outstanding instruction year after year, the ongoing enrichment programs during and after school and the technological training for the world we live in. Not only have we watched him grow and develop into an independent learner, but have witnessed how he has thrived in a small school setting. Our baby of the family is finishing her last year of elementary school and has been at Sagemont since the Kindergarten. She recently toured the middle school as an early orientation as to what awaits her in the fall and all she could say during our drive home was how excited she was to begin something new and how sad she was to leave her elementary school that has been a part of her life for the last 6 years.

My daughter has been attending Sagemont since Preschool. She is now a 5th grader and all I can say is THANK YOU to all the teachers and staff, who lovingly have lead her all these years. The school have been my second home as well, as a parent volunteer I get to be actively participating in school events. I'm blessed that my kids have had this opportunity to be in such awesome school. My older now is in the Upper School Campus and I'm also very happy with the environment and the teachers.

My child was at this school for a year. Her teacher was excellent but I can't say the same for most of the staff. The principal and vice principal are unfriendly, rude and dismissive except when it's time to register for the approaching school year. The front office staff was too busy to assist. The parents are cliquish and do not attempt to speak to you unless you speak Spanish. The majority of students are Latin and your child will be left out unless your family is as well. From my experience , they are intolerant of others. That type of attitude was also portrayed by some of the teachers of the school. I am glad I've moved my child from this hostile environment; mind you, her new principal and teachers are of Latin origin but they are much more endearing and approachable. We are happy and settled here.

My Daughter Katherine has gone to Sagemont since 1st grade and attended CAMP Sagemont all throughout gradeschool.. during this past summer the school gave her the opportunity to WORK at Camp Sagemont.. She had so much fun. I really love this school, she has grown up to be such a wonderful young lady. I owe everything to the staff.... She continues to excel academically and emotionally and i owe it all to this wonderful school. They are not helping her apply to NYU and other great colleges..

Many wonderful veteran teachers have left this school year, leaving the school to scramble with replacements. As a returning family I am disappointed to find my child's homeroom teacher is mediocre and comes from a school with poor and unproven academic outcomes. What is the point of paying for this if any old teacher will do to teach? My child's class size is over the state mandate, which tosses out their proud claims of small ones out the window. Many parents warned me, that they were seeking out alternate private schools, stating that their older siblings curriculum was entirely too slow, 'a waste of year.' I really can't help but think principal turnover has had something to do with all of this. Although I am continually grateful for the extra curricular activities offered & the lack of FCAT, the cost (I fear) will become increasingly difficult to justify given the quality of teaching.

The previous review is based on summer school experience. As I share this parent's thoughts and concerns, I am 100% sure that Sagemont team has learned from this mistake and will make the necessary moves so that it will not happen again. Sagemont is the best school in Weston. I have been a college a professor for 12 years in North East and I have my standards. it has been very difficult to find the right school for our son in Miami area. After the first year in Pre-K, I realized that Sagemont team is there for us to help our son grow both academically and socially. There will be errors just like in any other organization but as you go through the standards they are the best. My son did have a speech issue and immediately his pre-k teacher and the principal arranged a conference with us and a speech therapist was on board the next week. It is so precious to see the President of the School and the Principal of the school every single morning welcoming the kids and the parents. This by itself shows how open Sagemont's upper management is and it is much appreciated by all parents. I can write more but there is not enough space.

As of today I've dealt with Sagemont for less then two weeks and thus far they have managed to loose my child, send him home soaking wet, and loose a bag filled with his belonging. I don't recommend this school to anyone. I've made plenty of research and found out that paying for school does not necessarily mean a better and safer educations.

Our children are flourishing, and they love school! There are many reasons for this: Sagemont s committed teachers and staff, remarkable curriculum, ongoing assessment, added focus on writing and vocabulary (love this!!), reinforcement of organizational skills, to name just a few. And we love how Sagemont teaches and models responsibility, interdependence, and respect. Our kids really enjoy the sports and outstanding drama program.

My son has been attending Sagemont since he was 3 years old in PK now he s 9 years old in 3rd grade. Sagemont has been a great school for my son. I love that my son is always eager to learn and is always challenged. He is reading at 5th grade level which is amazing. Sagemont has a great curriculum, great teachers and staff. We plan to continue with Sagemont until 12th grade or maybe until college my son says that maybe by the time he graduates high school maybe Sagemont has its own college and that he would attend Sagemont College. We are very happy to be part of The Sagemont School!

I am a big fan of Sagemont! The school, size, nurturing environment, caring teachers and staff make this school a great place to be. I chose S over other prep schools because of the Safety, Diversity, Small school atmosphere and phenomenal curriculum. From PS on, S offers art, music, science, Spanish and swimming as part of their curriculum. I have my 2 children enrolled & am super happy. It is our 3rd year & my older child is reading almost 3 grades above his level. His math is excellent. The teachers here encourage and challenge the students to be the best that they can be! There is also the swim academy on sight with a great coach, coach Pam. I have to say though, my favorite teacher is Ms Solomon. She works very hard with each and every child encouraging them to reach their full potential. She is a true asset to the school and a great gift to her students. Both my kids will continue on to the Upper School where I am confident that they will receive the best preparation, education and guidance.

We have been part of the Sagemont School family for the past nine years and we are so pleased. There is a wonderful sense of community at Sagemont and the parents are encouraged to volunteer. The class sizes are small and the differentiated teaching is fantastic. Our children are getting a solid acamedic foundation while being able to take part in a variety of sports, clubs and arts programs to make them very well rounded. Give Sagemont a try and you won't be disappointed.
