This school doesn't respect or embrace African American children or parents. As a parent I experienced issues with three staff members.

As Christians are called to balance grace and truth and if we lean too much towards one or the other, we arent following christs example. So many churches are acting so scared of the world that they become Pharisees in this time and lose the grace that allows us to truly love our neighbors. Anti gay preaching vs loving and I feel very in not allowing women to preach or to even lead prayer in their weekly chapel.but hypocritical in that they have a female principal. Women have much to offer in their testimony and yet they are told you may teach here, you may be a student body leader but you may not preach here. Im afraid this is our last year with this school. We are withdrawing next year. However, if you wish for a school that openly hates gay, transgender people and pushes women into the submissive role this is the place for you!

My niece was treated awful. Principle wouldn some to adjust to being in school and get some t talk to her parents. Teacher was rude she hadnt been socialized much and hadnt been to prek. Which was explained. She needed some understanding and help adjusting. They refused and were terrible to her. A kindergartner. She was forced out after 3 days. She is now in public school and thriving. They took the time to help her. This school is not Christ centered. He wouldnt treat a child like that.

Our family loves attending First Coast. My children are advanced learners and were not being challenged in public schools. As I read the negative reviews here it is obvious that some parents are not comfortable with their children being challenged and held to high standards of behavior but this is exactly why we love this school. Your children will be educationally challenged and with parent support will Excel here. They will be held to behavior standards across the board and bad behavior is not tolerated. This schools staff loves and cares for all of the students most know them all by name even if they are not included in their day to day activities. Course work is rigours and requires parent involvement. The schools job is to educate your child the behavior, manners, character, drive ect is the PARENTS job to teach. If you want a safe, academically challenging loving environment for your child this is the place for them.

I applied for my fourth grader and there is a 25 dollar application fee and 30 testing fee. They knit pick among the incoming students and will test more students to make money and accept more applications to get people's money! This is just a MONEY hungry school and everyone working here is NOT christian at all!!!!! The admissions director was very RUDE on the phone!!!!! I felt so strange when I went there on two occasions and decided to take my child else where because something is definitely off about this place and all the bad reviews!!!!!!!! Wolves in sheep clothing for sure!!!

I do not recommend sending your child/children here . My daughters attended this school for 6 years . It started going down hill . Most of the teachers were wonderful . Its the administration and the way the school is run . They are awful and should be ashamed of themselves as a business and church . As soon as there was word of us exploring other options in education the principal came to my daughter and told her she couldnt participate in band or softball and she was done .Mind you she was not unenrolled at the time and still a student . Then rumors spread about her leaving . How unprofessional of grown adults . All they care about is money and once they find out your leaving they treat you like garbage . We pay for private flute lessons on weekends with the band director and was told today again by the principal my daughter is not allowed on the property . How discusting of these so called Christians . Please explore other private schools there are sone great ones around . They also play favorites and have treated precious staff members horrible too .

4 years of great educational experience with a Christ centered focus. The curriculum is one of the best, and the school continues to offer and grow in their additional learning opportunities fir their students.

Once your dhild is in the 7th grade, ALL work is on iPads. It is almost impossible to check every assignment and ensure that they are completed. I do not really feel that children in the 7th grade are mature enough to do only classwork and stay off of social media and "restrictions" are a joke. My children learned more about memes than they did about actual educational material.

Although we had some good experiences with the teachers in early elementary - this was not the case as our children were older - 5th grade and on. The students were placed in a box and not taught in any other way - even if needed.

This is hard to determine, as we teach our children strong values outside of school. I do not feel as though all of the children are respected for their individual strengths. They are yelled at by the teachers and administrators. My daughter literally cried sometimes because all of the teacher did was yell all the time. She was scared to be in her classroom.

My child has learning disabilities and ADHD. The school stated that they could teach him - however, they did put him in a box and he failed.

The school sweeps this under the rug. Both of my kids were bullied at the school. Neither of them felt protected and guarded by the administration at the school.

It was great in the beginning of my children attending the school. We quickly came to see the favoritism, the lack of attention to the children that were picking on the smaller kids, etc. Make sure you pay them their MONEY!!! For a Christian school - my kids did come from the school with a strong belief in Christ - but that starts from home. We were told from the beginning that the school believe that parent-educator relationships were important... that was a lie.

I use to love this school. I'll explain why my opinion has changed. My child has been a student there for 5 years . I never really had any problems with teachers until the third grade. The teacher in my opinion has a fast paced classroom. It's either you get it or you don't and that's it. She don't even attempt to explain to the children what they are doing wrong. Everyday there's tons of unfinished work sent home to finish plus tons of homework. It's take a average of 3 hours every night to finish class work and homework. I don't want my child to fail so I make the sacrifice to do this EVERY NIGHT!! It's RIDICULOUS we don't even have family time during the week because of studying and homework. Not to mention the 5 test all on the same day. Bible verse test, spelling test, history test, language test and reading test. I just feel like it's to much. My kid feels discouraged all the time. There's hardly any positive encouragement. Everything is negative. They are always complaining about something it's so aggravating. I spoke with other parents who also feel the same way. Trinity may have a increase in students if something doesn't change.

This high school is TERRIBLE. My daughter wasted an entire year of her education here. She was in 9th grade, had all advanced classes and learned absolutely nothing. You are better off putting your kid in public school. My daughter never was in trouble, always did her work and never had a grade below a "b". However, I believe the principal is incredibly prejudice and just simply does not certain children. If you care at all about your child's education do not send them here. It is a HORRIBLE excuse for a private school. And as far as the Christian part - doesn't even come into play.

Our family loves FCCS!!! Their staff is kind and caring. When their is a problem, the administration steps in to handle! Teaching core Christian values everyday.

First Coast Christian school is a great school to consider for your child. My son has been attending since 6th grade and is currently a junior. They have great teachers who keep in touch with both the parents and students. Extra curricular activities such as band, chorus, drama, sports, etc is offered in addition to their great curriculum to get your child prepared for college and life. They are a Christian based school and stress serving others. School administrators keep parents up to date on things going on around the campus and encourage parental involvement in planning for the future. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a great learning environment for their child.

We have had 2 children at FCCS. One has graduated and the other is in High School now. We were previously at another Christian School and the Lord led us to First Coast Christian and we have been here for 6 years. I say "we" because First Coast involves the parents in the education of their children. No school is perfect and we've had both good and bad experiences over time. The administration and teachers are willing to resolve any issues that arise. The school has many wonderful teachers that love their students and take their jobs seriously by seeking the Lord's guidance. I read some of the comments regarding the athletic department and must disagree. The coaches put emphasis on playing hard with a Christian attitude and good sportsmanship rather than winning. I recommend FCCS.

I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone!!!! I know everyone has their own experience but this school is horrible. The staff and teachers are hypocrites. This school is only worried about one thing and that is money . Be prepared to receive numerous calls about your child behaviors and an upset child. STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the teachers at first coast work there so they can get their kids in for free. They have no compassion for their students in class. The elementary principle for k-5 is horrible. She told me my kids would get more one on one at a public school, which is lie! This school is far from Christian, well when it comes to their teachers and principals. Most of the teachers there are all about gossip and love to talk about the kids that they're suppose to be encouraging and motivating to do the right things and be good people. This school is ridiculous. I've never had so many friends and family complain and remove their kids from a school especially a Christian private school. My kids weren't happy at that school. I wouldn't recommend this school to no one!

I graduate a couple years ago from FCCS and it was a joke. The only thing worse than than their academics is their athletics. not to mention majority of the teachers and students are hypocrites. I consider FCCS a public school you pay for
