Where do I even begin? Attending this academy felt less like pursuing an education and more like signing up for an ongoing test of patience. From the moment I started, there was an overwhelming sense of disorder the kind that makes you question how things are supposed to function at all.

The academic experience? A confusing mix of unclear expectations and inconsistent structure masquerading as organization. Lessons often felt rushed or poorly explained, leaving more frustration than understanding. It was less about learning and more about trying to piece things together on your own.

Support and communication didn’t fare much better. Asking simple questions sometimes felt like an inconvenience rather than a normal part of being a student. A place meant to encourage growth instead felt strangely disconnected.

I’m honestly surprised this experience met even the most basic expectations. A learning environment should inspire confidence and clarity not leave students feeling drained and discouraged.

Pretty bad, I know most of us bring our kids because of their Islamic education but I do recommend their Sunday school for Islamic education but never destroy your kids future here by enrolling them in school.

The teachers go above and beyond and treat the kids as their own and you can truly see how nuch they care about the success of their students.

My kid learned beautiful dua'a's and loves reciting them throughout the day. She also learned the importance of sharing, giving and being a team player.

Amazing administration and staff. The principal and Vice Principle care about the school and kids and always trying to improve the school.

Some of them are to soft with certain students, that they misinterpret that and play in class.

My child finish school so quickly that I get worry. So I involve her in extracurricular activities to keep her busy.

They are fair with students. They treat you with honesty. They always work wishing the best for students.

Everybody is so helpful and responsible. The environment is very safe for children. You do not have to worry that they will receive bad influences there.

Very good school MashaAllah! The principal is always available to address any concerns and is open to feedback. The officer administrator is the biggest help ever ! Techers are qualified and personable. I appreciate the diversity of the staff as well as student. After school activities are offered to students free. I'm happy with the Alfurqan community.

Al-Furqan Academy with its small class sizes,diverse student body and enriching academic environment really gives each child the drive to challenge themselves so they may reach their potential while offering social and other club activities that allow them to relax and have fun with their classmates.

Jacksonville is fortunate to have a good islamic school. I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else. The small class sizes and the after school clubs are great. There is nothing like sending your kids to a school with an islamic environment. Al furqan students are above the leval of public school students. The new principal is doing a great job, very caring and dedicated and making a lot of improvements and trying to add a new grade every year. I highly recommend this school.

Both of my boys have been attending Al-Furqan Academy since preK. My oldest is in fifth grade, and my youngest is in third grade this year. From the first day I enrolled them until now I have been extremely pleased with their academic achievements and the clean and positive environment that the school offers. I especially admire the great dedication and care that the principal, teachers, and staff give to the students and parents. My boys love the after school clubs that Al-Furqan Academy offers: The Archery, Science, Art, French, Karate, and Quran. I follow Al-Furqan Academy progress very closely, and I am happy to say that it is striving for excellence and growth year after year. Next year, seventh grade will be added, and they plan to add a grade every year. I highly recommend it to all parents, because I know that their kids will grow, prosper and enjoy the rich, safe, and positive experience as my kids have.
