We had a good experience with only 2 teachers. Others need to work on their skills and maturity levels. Not sure if they are even certified.

There is a low religious presence here and very few teachers actually care about the students. Lots of combined classes, teachers are overwhelmed by so little, it's a mess.

Strongly lacking. Enrollment has been declining for years. It's a shame the school could do much better with a strong leader. I am not sure anyone cares or wants to change what is going on here.

The teachers do not know what to do if someone is different and the administration definitely does not help. They will single you out and make you feel bad about your child and yourself.

They have favorites and let those do what they want. The bullying starts in the office with the secretary and a few of the teachers like the kindergarten teacher. They bully the parents. It's not a good
environment to bring your child to. The principal lets others run the school instead of doing it herself.

Do not waste your money or your child's time. Not a school I would go to again. So many other schools actually care about your child. Stay away from this one.

Normal amount of homework is given. This is the least of the concerns at this school.

I have had two children attend All Angels Academy for many years. I highly recommend this school in every respect - quality of education, inclusive religious education, an emphasis on character development, involved families, small class sizes and personalized attention, a beautiful campus - and many more things that make it a great school.

My child is on the spectrum and we absolutely love the school and their approach to diversity, classrooms settings are small and easy to focus on individual needs of each child.

We are so lucky to have found All Angels Academy. This is our first year and we feel a sense of family, and close to my child's peers and their families. We do activities and birthday's together, teachers all go the extra mile for all the students, not just their own.

It was a loving place with a strong academic background both of my daughters went through the eighth grade. And have continued into high school and college was successful academic careers. It was a wonderful face both spiritually and academically :)

- High teacher turnover.

I don't have first hand knowledge in this area. The fact that most teachers do not hold certifications or degrees in their subject leads me to believe they do not understand best practices for educating students with IEPs.

Most teachers are uncertified or non-degreed. Those that are certified have contributed to a high teacher turnover as they choose to leave the school upon experiencing its mismanagement.

The principal overrides the student report card grades against teacher knowledge and approval.

3 facts that I have personally observed:
1) Student enrollment has been declining for years while the school slips further into financial debt. Parents are realizing that the education at All Angels is subpar and not re-enrolling their children or recommending other parents to enroll their children.
2) The principal regularly overrides report card grades, against the professional judgement of the teachers, in an effort to appease parents. Not only is this hugely unethical, but it paints a picture to parents that is false. I believe parents, though temporarily satisfied upon seeing acceptable grades, ultimately don't appreciate this practice. This eventually will leave parents bewildered when their children enter high school underprepared.
3) Teacher retention is at an all-time low as qualified teachers either decline job offers or leave at the first sign of trouble. This is a huge red flag. The school's ineffective administration is mismanaging underqualified teachers. "As the teachers go, the school goes."

Bullying among the students is nearly nonexistent; All Angels maintains a safe environment for the children. However, bullying among the teachers and administration is rife.

The administration allows, and enables, a culture of exclusion where the principal employs her friends and relatives to prominent roles. Those teachers are often unqualified for the position and together are managing the school to their benefit instead of to the benefit of the students and other teachers.

Teachers who realize this conflict of interest are quickly outcast and any questioning is met by the principal with temperamental threats.

Again, this is subjective. School is what YOU make of it more often than not. The teachers are on the whole good teachers. Think of them as a resource or an instrument of learning. It's just as much the student's/parent's job to effectively utilize a teacher's services as it is a teacher's to job to serve. The relationship is a two-way street.

I didn't always feel the amount was right, BUT the amount of homework a child receives and their ability to handle it depends on the child and the teacher. It changes from year to year and even school to school. That's a life lesson your child must learn to deal with!! In the future your boss will not mollycoddle you about your workload!!

Students are taught good manners, sportsmanship, and integrity from as early on as Preschool. Students are spoken to as though they are members of a family not a nameless face among hundreds.

Small school with a big heart. Certainly it's not for everyone, but then again no one school is all things to all people. All my children passed through the halls of this mighty little school. They have gone on to do quite well in their education. My children and I agree that they received a solid foundation from this school. Not only did they learn their ABC's and the three R's, but they learned about respect, perseverance, and kindness. Again, any school experience is what you make of it.

Large turnover rate for such a small school. This should tell you teachers with degrees leave. Teachers are not allowed to speak in conferences, I want to hear from my child's teacher what is going on. The administration just sugarcoat everything.

This school was nothing like it was presented. I thought I would have a warm small class environment for my child, only to find out most kids are not on grade level but on honor roll while they are using a test my child took many years ago to present they are out performing other schools in the area. Tbe facilities are nonfunctional. My child was not doing work on grade level so we spent additional funds for outside tutoring. It is now late July and still have not received my child's report card. Teachers have a horrible attitude towards parents and students unless you are certain individuals. I actually loathe calling into the front office, she has the most disgusting attitude and gossips to anyone that will listen. It was not worth my money to send my child here.

Too many kids with serious disabilities and no aides. Most teachers are not certified. Filthy conditions. Schools D&B is at $800k but the kids have no toilet paper in the bathrooms. I was a parent at this school for 6 years. Teachers change every year so that alone says something. Total lack of respect towards the children there. Many other schools to choose from.

Most do not have certification. Each year there's a set of new teachers. You have the principal and pastor teaching full middle school classes. School is VERY mismanaged. Known as the Dum Dum school in the community

They have tablet based education that they can't manage. The school choose the cheapest program ever but charges 1700$ tech fee for the tablet.

They lack in this area. My child was humiliated by a teacher who is technically a day care worker teaching a middle school class because he could not perform a task that was clearly noted in his IEP.

This is an excellent school where administration, teachers, staff, and parents are a family committed to ensure the best education environment for the children. I feel proud and blessed to be part of this amazing school.

I placed both of my young sons in this school because it is a K through 8th grade school. I wanted to minimize outside influence and have them in a loving nurturing environment that they could remain in through middle school. I love that this school has so many social activities for the children that creates a sense of community for them. The staff is supportive and responsive to the children's needs. They receive the nurturing and direction that they need. Another primary reason for choosing this school was it low student/teacher ratio. This is a tremendous little school that we are lucky to have in our community.
