I have four kids at this school who are at different stages. Center accommodates and meet them where they are. When there is help needed, the teachers are very supportive and encouraging.

My son is in his second year here and he's doing very well academically. He's gotten caught up from being behind coming from a public school. The kids are nice. He has no homework except if he didn't finish something during the day.

I have looked at so many schools; Center Academy, St John's location has gone above and beyond to help my kiddo (and myself) feel comfortable! Ms. Kathy and Ms. Donna are so helpful and understanding when handling children that have certain needs! So happy we found them!!

Transferring from a charter school to Center Academy was the best decision we made for our daughter. She has grown a million times over and her grades are exceptional. She receives the guidance she needs and enjoys the small class sizes. The director and all staff are positive and caring towards all students. My daughter is excited to go to school now and enjoys the environment. I know she's taken care of and any concerns I have ever had are addressed immediately. Thank you Center Academy!!

The smaller class sizes allow for more individualized attention and usually dont assign homework. The teachers are good & seem to care for their students for the most part. Overall its a solid safe school.

This school is PERFECT for my son! Hes starting his 3rd year there & LOVES it! Hes never liked school before & even went to the best elementary school. The small class sizes, individual attention and no assigned homework has made a HUGE difference in our family life. On the rare occasion he doesnt finish his work at school because of a doctor/dentist appointment, he comes home & immediately completes his work. He NEVER cared about his schoolwork & homework was ALWAYS a struggle until he started at Center Academy at St. Johns Bluff.

I am so thankful to have options such as this school because some kids just dont do well at large public schools and need different accommodations that other schools cant offer. Plus we have NEVER had a bullying issue or anything even close to that. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Center Academy if your child has unique needs.

This school is fantastic. Our son has been a student here for 5 years. He has really grown socially and emotionally. The classrooms and curriculum are set up so that each student can thrive. We highly recommend Center Academy on St. John's Bluff

My daughter has attended Center Academy since 7th grade and now in 11th grade. We knew she had learning disabilities and was looking for a school that would work with her at a pace she could manage. She had started to loose her confidence and was having anxiety due to her learning disability. Since being at Center Academy she has grown in her confidence, is a straight A student and I have peace of mind because I know she is learning in a safe environment in a more intimate setting. The staff is great and Im grateful for the experience we have had over the years.

Center Academy has been a life saver for my daughter diagnosed with ADHD/ADD she lives the school and thinks the teachers and teaching assistants are awesome. The administration is the best they know every student by name, and they help them as much as they can with anything they need as well as the parents needs. They want their students to succeed and push them to do their best always.

Center Academy Prep has been a life saver for my daughter whom is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum. Its a small school so its not overwhelming for kids that need Special Education. The teachers are knowledgeable and caring, especially the 12th grade teacher. He goes the extra mile and cares for his students. If your child is struggling and needs a Special Education school, where no bullying is allowed, dont hesitate!! You wont regret your decision. Thank you:)

Our son is in his second year at Center Academy. We can not say enough wonderful things about what this school has done for all of us. Our son never gets lost in the shuffle and if a subject becomes confusing or too difficult, the entire staff works to help him. We are updated whenever there is an issue or need with our son, and communication is the best of ANY school our children have attended. Our son has gone from anxious, nervous and non productive in the school environment, to being an enthusiastic learner. School is a challenge for him, but he is now learning that it also has it's rewards. I wish we had found Center Academy sooner.

Making the switch to Center Academy has been one of the best decisions we could have made for our son. The administration, faculty, and staff have all been wonderful, and I know that my son isn't getting lost in the shuffle. My son was diagnosed with Aspergers and anxiety and started to have physical and emotional issues during middle school. We searched for a school that could accommodate him. Center Academy has been such a wonderful answer to my son's education. Mrs. Jodi Shea, the director is an amazing administrator. She has the right balance of love, compassion, knowledge, organization and humor to successfully run a school like Center Academy. She is a gift to the school. The help she has given our family and the accommodations she has made for our son and the emotional support has been amazing. And she is supported by an amazing administrator, Ms. Sue who is truly an angel and takes care of the students and the school. The teachers have supported, and mentored our son. The students are well cared for, well educated and in a safe loving environment. Thank you Center Academy!

My son came to Center Academy as a senior. We were looking for a school that would customize an individual learning plan tailored to his specific needs. Since starting 5 months ago, we have witnessed tremendous growth, increased confidence, and improved academics. Center Academy does a fabulous job working with ADHD children. My daughter and her friends have attended many schools in the Jacksonville area but none can compare to the level of education, the motivation provided, and the dedication of the faculty.

We transferred our son to this private school for another local provate school that he was not doing to well in. We were a bit skeptical, as he has had some issues at his last two schools with the curriculum and with teachers and fellow students. Specifically with his Indivualized Education Plan for special educational needs. To our delight, he has exceed our expectations. He is currently carrying a individualized course load above most students and has about a 3.6 GPA. What he likes most is the smaller setting, not moving around from class to class and the individualized work plan. Apparently our son strives off self study and individualized work. My son loves his school! He makes friends easily and the teachers are a hug help. Every one at Center Academy gets along with each other. That's a sign of a great school! Center Academy is an extraordinary place where proper education. I will recommend this school to anyone. The teachers are very compassionate and worked one on one with each student to ensure the students needs first and foremost. Safety and discipline and regularly revised and supervision on the school rules were always enforced allowing things to run smoothly.

My daughter has a processing deficit which makes it hard for her to stay as focused as she could be. After much frustration over the early years and doing our best to be a strong advocate for our daughter while in the public school we were disappointed to find that they would rather her fail and put her with behavioral children who would scare her. After searching for a school that would meet her needs we found Center Academy. Our daughter is excelling and gaining confidence each day and making great strides and we know she will have a bright future.

The small class size, family atmosphere, individualized learning, and friendships with kids that often struggle with the same things he does, are shaping him into a fine young man. Center Academy has changed our son's life. For years he failed to achieve even the lowest standards in a system geared only to those who learn one way. After looking at private schools I was discouraged to learn they were all geared to only address "honors" students with little thought to those who needed a curriculum designed to stimulate learning and address the different learning styles of my AD/HD child with dyslexia. Having lost all confidence in himself, our son had become a poor performer in school, was withdrawing socially, & was becoming more and more depressed. His appearance, attitude, & demeanor all showed that he felt like a failure. Center Academy's team of talented professional educators focuses on HOW my child learns, how to get him to think differently, and they have the tools to drive higher performance while inspiring my son to be a better person. Since enrolling he has gained a new sense of confidence, is engaging socially and recently brought home a report card with all A s and one B! His appearance shows that he cares, and he is more confident when speaking with peers and adults. We taught him how to respect others at home; CA has helped him respect himself!

Center academy has been a wonderful choice for our son who was struggling in a public school. The wonderful teachers and staff have helped him turn his grades around and even more importantly his self esteem. His attitude towards school has become more positive and he no longer considers himself a failure. Instead, with the help of his teachers I see him setting goals and meeting them, so important in building the confidence that he needs to succeed in the future. Our family life has improved too as school work is done at school and we are no longer needing to reteach the days work, and scrambling to find lost papers in the morning. The director, staff, and teachers are always approachable and welcome communication on behalf of coordinating the best individual teaching environment for each student. We feel very fortunate to have found Center Academy!

I have a son who has been attending Center Academy for about a year and a half. My son has ADHD and he ran into real problems about half way through his Private Catholic school experience. My son is very intelligent, but he struggles with homework and maturity. These are textbook issues for kids with ADHD. We transitioned to Center Academy and my son has thrived and is already accepted to two Florida Universities. My son has thrived in Dual enrollment and he has also gained confidence in the classrooms of Center, Dual enrollment gives him the freedom and a early experience in a College setting. While the Center classroom experience helps with traditional classroom skills and socail skills while providing him guidance and feedback. The teachers and the Administration of Center, understand what my son's needs are and they are encouraging and challenging him to be ready for College. I could not ask for a better partnership than my wife and I have with Center. I frankly was searching for the right school and enviornment for my son 18 months ago. I feel Blessed that we found Center.

The principal, teachers and staff have bee very responsive to tthe individual needs of my son. We can communicate easily as any problem arises and they have been very accommodating. We are very happy that we moved our son from public school.

Center Academy is the best thing that ever happened to my son and I. My son was making all "F"s in the previous private school he attended, because he had given up. He felt dumb and hopeless and that the teachers were mean. My heart was breaking and I did not know what we were going to do. Center Academy helped my son get back on track, both academically and emotionally . He now makes A's and B's and his self esteem is great! He actually likes going to school now, because he feels smart and successful and liked. The teachers at Center Academy are extremely patient and really care about the kids. I call them "Angels from Heaven". Center Academy has changed our lives. No more tears over homework and no more worry about my son's future!
