My kids don’t get homework but then I am told they need to improve on their work with no examples as to what they need to work on, no explanation on days where my kids behavior may not be up to a par. Just one letter in a folder, again with no explanation as to what happened or what they did wrong. My kids deal with bullying, when I ask about it, the teacher claims they didn’t see anything. Staff is rude when you call, teachers at pick up and drop off are rude. Maybe I just have had bad experiences with my kids being in this school but I have yet to come across anyone impressive. They seem burnt out and like they can’t stand their jobs.

In the academic part BAD. I am a mother that I dedicate my time to my children, to educate them for the society that is the main one role and also to the school education. Despite all that effort, I feel that I do not reach the goal. why? because a table needs four supports for its balance and if one is missing, the table falls. And if the school fails, the results will not be as expected. Our public schools have everything necessary for a good education but teachers need to bring creativity to their teaching, these are children from an elementary school, not a high school or university. But also the principal and his administration must ensure that good classes are taught and monitor their teachers.

NoT all teachers review the homework and sometimes the students does not know what they did wrong.

In general they lack didactic methods mainly in grades 3th to 5th.Classes are taught through a simple papel, there are no alternative methods for the student to learn in a more dynamic way. Many times they think that IReady is an effective method but for a child that method becomes tedious.

Leadership is not effective because that is reflected in the academic performance of students. Teachers need monitoring to check if they are teaching classes correctly.

The students who are falling behind because they do not assimilate at the same speed as the others need an individualized attention but that it will be taken with more seriousness and depth at the time of teaching the needed material but which in turn is done in a more systematic way. These children who need a little more time than others do not have a learning delay because not everyone can be smart. In a classroom there are brilliants students, intelligent, good and not so good.

A great place to work! Davis has a community of parents, students, and staff that work more like a family than an institution.

This school is the worse school my son has ever been to. The school does not pay attention to the child's needs and neglects them until the end when it's too late. I do not recommend this school at all.
