Mi hijo tiene una condición y todos los papeles del médico neulogo , psicólogo , pediatra se tiraron a una gaveta por años , nunca le dieron ninguna atención diferenciada , tienen preferencias con los estudiantes , si por casualidad le caes mal te hacen la vida un yogurt comenzando por la subdirectora o principal que nunca escucha y si castiga por muchas razones estúpidas pensando que son soldados y no adolescentes , nada de apoyo , ni estímulos , ni ayudas , la consejera y algunos profesores especiales pero otros te tratan como un objeto , la directora solo la ves en eventos festivos nunca está presente cuando necesitas apoyo como padre o con los alumnos académicamente o problemas de disciplina, la peor escuela y lástima que tenga tantos profesores tan desagradables y frustrados que les alegre requerir con reffer y no saber el problema de los estudiantes , ahora mi hijo va para high school y ha sido un dolor de cabeza por todas las estupideces que nunca ponen las causas y si problema general de disciplina por si leyeran otros maestros o escuelas , de verdad fueran criticados por ser tan irracional y estúpidas

This school is terrible my daughter first language is English and she had difficulties understanding the teachers. The teacher are more babysitters and do not help students that need a bit more help. The teacher do not understand that not every child learns the same and as teacher should educate themselves to teach in a variety of ways. A lesson plan can not be a one size fit all and when the child doesn’t learn they don’t address the issue.

Las maestras nunca aceptan que estan haciendo Mal su trabajo, mi hijo tuvo que repetir El grado porque nunca le dieron la ayuda para levantar sus grados y me entered de que ellos supuestamente habian mandado cartas a mi casa diciendo que El nino hiba a repetir El año pero era mentira hasta la Ultima semana la mandaron envez de habisar con tiempo para ayudarlo Al nino a pasar love dejaron Todo de Ultimo , esa escuela es muy mala en administration, maestras , la limpieza y Las maestras solo see la pasan hablando de sus problemas personally con los muchacho envez de dar clases

Mis hijos asistieron a esta escuela desde pre k hasta 8 y cada año see ponia peor la education , nunca tuvieron closes extracurriculares o field trips , solo pedian dinero para fotos o pizza pero nunca hubo ayuda individual para sus necesidades, hasta para uno ser chaperon o ayudarlo en la escuela nunca estaba la persona para uno apuntarse , Las maestras maltratan a Los niños , en especially Ms. D Thomas es la maestras mas racista y pesada de toda la escuela porfavor si pueden poner a sus hijos en otra escuela como Ben sheperd aganlo .

This school is not adequate for any child to attend. It's time for new leadership and some type of innovation. The teachers and staff are rude and have no customer service skills. My boys had accidents at this school because of poor supervision. I never saw progress until I changed schools. If you have a choice for another school, take it. This is not a place for learning, just babysitting. The school continues to be dirty, disorganized and lacks parental involvement. Real leaders are needed.

Leadership is poor and complacent. They don't motivate or inspire children. School is poorly run, dirty and nothing innovative is going on.

This is the main problem with the school. Children with special needs are never included in anything such as shows, field trips, assemblies. Teachers in this program do not have the right training, and the monies are not spent correctly. The curriculum is horrible, and the classes over crowded.

This school is disappointing. I moved to this area from the west coast and am extremely dissatisfied. I will be looking for a charter school for my child. The school is old and unkept. Administrators are never around. When you enter the dingy office, you have to wait at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Then, it’s usually in Spanish. The school performs poorly on state tests too.

This is the worst school. I recommend that you put your child in a school where teachers educate their students correctly and not be so much on there students pressuring them because they might have problems that they don't want to share. I recommend schools such as Palm Springs or Ernest R. Graham K-8 or High Gardens Elementary, Middle & High School.

I am disappointed that my kids attend this school. I am presently searching for another alternative. The school is backwards, like other posts show. The parents who post excellent reviews have no idea how other schools operate. It's so apparent that leadership is lacking in this school. Yes, the staff is caring, but that doesn't necessarily make them effective, or the school excellent.The school has no parental involvement. I am the only parent sending supplies for my kids' teachers. The administration is never visible. Teachers morale seems low. So they made learning gains in three years. Well, up is the only way you can go with kids that don't speak the language and perform low initially. Take a look at their scores again....all the way down once more. Administration should start of thinking of ways to bring them up again. A working computer in my kids class would be helpful too. Are there worse schools? Probably. However, this school is not a 5 star school. For those that think it is, try visiting other schools, and you will be enlightened.

Milam K-8 Center provides a nurturing, family-like atmosphere for children from Pre-K to eighth grade. The school building itself is old, but the teachers are well prepared with excellent pedagogy and provide the students with a rigorous academic experience. Staff members are caring and kind to students. The administration is excellent! In fact, the principal, a humble and extremely caring lady, was recognized this past year as one of the top principals in the state. This award was given to her after an extensive study showed that Milam was one of the top six schools in Florida with the highest learning gains over the last three years. Obviously, the teachers are doing an extraordinary job of preparing students for high school and beyond. The school encourages parental involvement and holds numerous family events. I am very happy that my two daughters are students at this extraordinary school! I highly recommend Milam to all parents who want to provide their kids with a high quality education in a wonderful atmosphere.

This place is like a second family. A second home, if you will. The past 7 years that I've spent this year are probably the best compared to years at other schools. However poor this school may look, I swear, there is no other school as us and as responsible and educated as us. The teachers care personaly about the students and do everything in their willpower to make sure that the students have a bright future. Milam has tought me sooooo much more than I could have ever imagined. I truly belive that the definition of family is In fact Milam. #Milamclassof2014 #milamstrong I hope one day, everyone else at other schools realize just how great Milam is.

This is the most backward and most unprofessional school I have ever seen. From security in flip flops that speak no English to the clinic nurse that also lacks knowledge of this countries language. I had middle schoolers transfer here and they would tell you themselves that it's a joke. There is no academic rigor and they scare kids to perform well on tests by telling them all the teachers will be fired. Of course there a few stellar teachers but the overall third world country atmosphere over shadows it.
