Overall, Cedar Creek offers a lovely and nurturing school environment. The teachers are incredibly pleasant, kind, and truly dedicated to the students. My children consistently have positive experiences here and adore their teachers, especially Ms. Grossi, Ms. Pugh, and Ms. Frazer who show genuine care and love for them.

The children at the school are equally caring, which creates a healthy, welcoming atmosphere. My kids even want to stay longer at school, which says a lot about how much they enjoy being there!

While I do have concerns about safety, I understand improvements are in progress. It’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make because of the exceptional care and Christian values the staff instills in the students. Christ is placed at the forefront of everything they do, and the strong values they teach are truly admirable.

I sincerely hope the safety issue is resolved soon, but overall, it has been a wonderful journey. The teachers and staff at Cedar Creek deserve all the praise for the amazing work they do.

As a teacher at Cedar Creek for the past seven years, I have seen many improvements. The administrative staff works diligently to bring improvements to our school. They are not only supportive of our faculty, but also our parents and students. We have many wonderful teachers here who not only care about the academic education of the students, but also their spiritual, and overall well-being. This is a caring school that deals with problems head-on. Bullying is not tolerated and students who are found to be bullying other students are suspended and if the behavior continues, they are expelled. I love Cedar Creek and would highly recommend it for any child's educational needs.

Cedar Creek has multi level classes, from Honors to Resource and even an online option for credit recovery.

Many classes give homework infrequently. The school policy is never to give homework on Wednesdays so the students can attend church. When homework is given it is given more than one day to work on. Most teachers communicate with us when assignments are given.

Cedar Creek's teachers constantly change their approaches to subjects to best meet the needs of the kids. Sure sometimes kids with behavior issues fall through the cracks, but I have found all my kids teachers extremely willing to work with me to ensure that my kids are successful.

Being a Christian school allows them the freedom to try to instill Christ like values in their students. With weekly chapel services and a strong bible teaching program they do their best to teach the students how to be like Christ.

My five children have and do attend Cedar Creek and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is unsatisfied with the public school system that overlooks and just passes along students without ensuring that they are academically prepared for the future. Go Saints!

I love this school! The staff, teachers, even the pastor of the church, do any and everything to make sure the students know they are loved and know that they can do anything the student wants to achieve in life! The teachers go above and beyond for not only my children but for every student in their class.

The teachers and coaches emphasize personal responsibility and ownership of behavior. Biblical principles are taught and modelled and no excuses are made. It says 'Christian' in the name of the school and they expect teachers, students and parents to reflect those values.

Some teachers are stronger than others but students who make it through the honors classes will find their Freshman year at university to be a breeze.

Homework policies are generally at the discretion of the teacher. Accomodations can be made for students with special needs but the Honors program emphasizes personal responsibility and coming to class prepared for discussion and notes - and that means homework!

Great school that meets needs of a variety of students' specific educational needs. Faculty, staff and administrators are always available to students and parents. They go above and beyond what is required to meet not only the academic needs of the students, but also personal needs of the family. Oh no. The teachers are bullies themselves. Sometime they tag team on certain students. When you go to the owner or the principal they defend the teacher and bullies.

No. I've heard teachers call their students stupid and racial slurs. The higher ups know and defend the teachers.

The student will do the homework only to be told the next day to hold on to it and is never asked for it back. Then when report card comes the teacher says no homework has been turned in, yet we have all the homework (in a folder) the teacher didn't want to accept.

Horrible school. Full of racism from the staff and the higher ups protect the racist teachers. Racist insults are thrown towards both students and teachers. There's a teacher there that talks bad about students parents to other students. I've met other parents with these same complaints. Teachers speak horribly to parents when parent tries to reach out. The higher ups know, but don't care. If multiple students complain of mistreatment by staff, the students get in trouble. They only care about the money coming in not the student or her/his education. I pulled my child out and put them in another school only to find out this school should have done certain state exams and they didn't. So my child had to catch up by having extra testing days on top of doing the correct classes for the current grade level to graduate. Stay away from this place. Public school is better than them.

This school is horrible from the teachers that physically fight the kids on down to the principal that does nothing about it. I have heard horror stories from my kids as well as other students about what goes on at this school. This school has minimal resources to educate the students. The environment is not conducive to learning . Don't send your kids to this school.

They do not prepare the High School students for college. They favor more to football and softball, while the other sports have to depend on the parents to support it but yet the parent still have to pay the &100.00 sports fee. My daughter will graduate from there only because she only have one year left but I'm taking my son out.

I have two students that attend Cedar Creek. I have been very happy with the school and the teachers. Both of my children have had a great experience and are able to get help from the teachers that they were not able to get in public school. I have seen great improvement with both of them. I have a senior and they have been a tremendous help with what's needed to move on to college. I would recommend this school to anyone!

I was formerly a teacher at Cedar Creek and I have to say that despite previous posts by parents, the teachers do genuinely care about the children, their well being and them getting the best education possible. The teachers that are at this school are there because they are committed. They work harder than most schools. They do not have any prep periods, all of their classroom prep is done on their own time. They even eat lunch with the kids. The only reason a teacher would stay at a school where you have to put in so many extra hours than the average schools is because they love the school & children & are completely committed. The school does have quite a bit of children with learning disabilities so the classes tend to move at a slower pace to accommodate the majority of the students learning levels. The school as a whole does not have much money therefore the teachers do the best that they can with the resources that are available to them. Anything the teachers want for their classrooms or their students the teachers go out and spend their personal money to make the learning experience better. To say that the teachers do not care about the students is completely inaccurate.

Please, for the love of God, do NOT send your child to this school. Especially if he/she has adhd, because they certainly don't have time to be dealing with kids who can't sit still. Even though they gladly take the money from the scholarship for kids with special needs, they have NO tolerance for the kids with special needs. Nearly every day my child comes home feeling like he's "bad" because he has a problem sitting still. The teachers, from what I've seen, are grouchy and seem to be unhappy in life in general. When we go on field trips I am the ONLY adult interacting with the children. His teacher told him in front of the whole class "stop going home crying to your mommy that I'm mean to you". Communication is sub-sub par. His grades have plummeted severely. There is no way my child will be attending CCCS next year, I would rather put him in public school and pray that he can catch up academically.

I am a former teacher at this school. The staff are hands on and the level of parent involvement is pretty high considering the number of students that were enrolled. There was a good deal of support for the students as well. I've worked in other public schools and have to say that while no school is perfect, this school does care more overall than many schools I've seen. The teachers are willing to work with the students who want help. The online grading system too helps keep parents informed. The grading system there was easier to read by both parents and teachers. I would rather have my students at this school than at many public schools where children are dropped off by parents and there is no parental involvement. Kudos to Cedar Creek!

I had my daughter in the elementary school and it was terrible. She received no education and when I finally had enough of her having to help other students instead of getting an education herself I changed her to another school. It took her several months to catch up to where she was supposed to be. It was not just her specific teacher either because she was there for two years. My son went to the high school and it was an absolute joke. There was absolutely no communication from the teachers. My son actually failed one of his classes and I was never made aware there were any issues of concern. They do nothing to prepare the kids for college. It's horrible. Most recently I even learned of a coach discussing my sons grades with the football team. This is against the teachers code of ethics but that doesn't surprise me at all. I wouldn't consider any of the staff real "teachers". Oh and the high school literally smells. Seriously. It smells horrible. Do not make the same mistakes I did and send your children here. There are so many better options available.

My son has been going to Cedar Creek since Kindergarden. Up until this year the school has been good but not great. I do not know what the change was this year, but he went from having the kids pick on him and bully him to having the teacher join in. No matter what he did or did not do he would get in trouble. The teacher took other students words instead of investigating. A student kicked him and while the teacher was present and while in a parent teacher conference the teacher denied it even though we had witnesses. After finding out we would be sending him to another school next year because of this teacher she started writing him a referral on my son for at least twice a week. She deviates severely from the curriculum and uses her on books and Bible instead of the ones we had to buy this year. If he told on a child doing something wrong he got in trouble and if they told on him he got in trouble. He would get hurt on the play ground and not 1 accident report was written except when he had a substitute. SHe ripped up papers and threw them in the trash with and without grading them. We went to administration with no results. I would not recommend this school.
