I took my daughter to school today like I have done for the past few years and I was horrified!!! the school had put a blue barrier to prevent the parents to be able to see their children walk into the school, there normally is no more than 3 or 4 parents there and like myself we are usually there for a minute or two and then we leave but apparently showing love for your kids is something the administration in this school has no tolerance for but what they fail to understand is that the school belongs to the parents which are the tax payers!!!! not this disgusting administration!!

My child was there for 2 years, heading towards 3 years (got switched to 3 separate teachers before 2 weeks into the school year!) when I felt retaliated against for reporting safety issues and trying get timely evaluation for special education and accommodations. They found a zoning loophole during a "spot check" to have my child withdrawn, even though I confirmed with the school that she could be there throughout the years. I received the call coldly and withdrawn same day. The teachers were very helpful and will miss them. Even the aftercare staff, which my child was unable to say goodbye to. It's the administration that seems to sit on a throne, pass the buck, and busy posting on social media rather than help their students.

Excellent school, I don't have one thing negative about this school but that I wish it went from Pre-K - 8. My son just finished Kindergarten and can't say more good things about this school. I am extremely happy with the teacher, staff, and all the activities in this school. I am proud to say that my son goes to this school.

All around staff is very friendly and helpful. When you have any questions or concerns, the teacher will respond to you in a timely fashion. Kids are completely involved in all activities. This school goes out of their way to do small events that involve parents in order to create a wonderful bond between you and your child. I am extremely grateful to my daughters teachers and all they have done for her.

The Definition of a GREAT SCHOOL is PSN. I have my son there since kinder and hes now starting 5th and my daughter is now going from kinder to 1st. What can I say but what an amazing staff this school has from the teachers to the security guards to the volunteers.. Everyone at this school takes pride in being there which makes the kids succeed and grow and learn so much more there. They have plenty of activities after school to get the whole community involved that even kids from other schools come to PSN to participate. They also have plenty of events such as Holiday Shows, monthly Family Nights, etc. They make sure that every child feels welcome and included which I love and they are also on top of them as far as academics. If I could keep my kids there through 12th grade I would!

Love this school! I had my kid in a charter school near by since Kindergarten and we've had so many issues with that school. Since we made the change to this school (in PSN), his grades have improved so much and he has flourished. This is a great school environment and it already feels like a family.

I'm not sure why the profile says no Before Care? My son is in 2nd grade and has been in before care since Kindergarten.. Anyway, my son absolutely loves his school and I love it as well. The administration does a wonderful job of keeping parents involved in all the processes and events that go on on a daily weekly and monthly basis. My son has had several teachers thus far and all have been great. The community school offers a wide range of after school activities that I have not seen offered at other public schools in the area. From painting to basketball and everything in between. I have never encountered a staff member at this school that has been anything less than helpful and genuinely happy to be there. I can't imagine ever taking my son out of this school. Only wish it was a K-8 so that he could stay longer!

This school has great teachers and amazing parent involvement. The administration is average. There was a change in administration which has caused some instability, and the scores dropped. Hopefully, it was a fluke. Teacher morale seems to be lower than other years, but the teachers are respectful and listen to the parents' concerns. Overall, it's a great school because of it's people and family atmosphere. My son is getting a good education.
