The faculty here doesnt care about the safety of your children. They dont follow Florida state policies on bullying. They dont follow through with anything unless you chase them. I wouldnt send my kids here unless you want them to get bullied and assaulted, and then when your kid turns for safety from a member of the faculty. Theyll be told to write a report and then turned away and sent back to be in the presence of the person that was bullying or assaulting them until one of their lazy staff members decides that theyre gonna review the footage and speak to witnesses and by the time that happens, your kid is getting assaulted again by the same student. They would rather make your child the victim feel like the problem, then fix the problem.

The teachers here are the meanest most disrespectful, unkind people i have ever come across! Alot of angry, rude, violent students as well. So no chance for the honest well behaved student, definitely would never recommend this school if you care about your child

Hinson is a very bad school. My child went there for 2024-2025, and i am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the effort the teachers put in. The ONLY good teacher there was the band teacher.. i do not recommend this school to children with kind hearts.

This school is terrible. Ever since my child started attending, he says he has learned nothing except how to sit and wait for the bell to ring. He also reports that there is a fight or argument every day. Additionally, the cafeteria is very outdated and serves horrible food. I would not recommend bringing your child here!

This has to be the worst middle school i have ever in countered. The administration is absolutely appalling and has no regards for childern. None of them should be running a school. I have never dealt with such incompetence like this before. They even make it difficult to try and get my child out. They have lost so much staff this year and all 7th graders have had the worse education. My child has an IEP and her IEP teacher would remove her from the substitute classroom to try and give her an education and they would mark her absent and when we asked to have it reversed they stated no she wasn't in the physical classroom. I would never recommend a child go here. The administration has also bullied and harassed alot of the students. Please find a variance to another school.

As a child at this school I am completely baffled by how many fights there has been. In one day there has been 8 fights. I a child should not be put into situations where I have to fight with other children. My friends have been jumped in this school. I do not blame the kids as much as I blame the staff. People do not do their work. Our principle does not punish the children in fights, I have never felt so unsafe for my wellbeing.

I have gotten bullied many times I do not think the school is a great school there are many fights and most of the teachers dont care because they dont get paid enough yall have got to do better on hiring better teachers this is why your school has gotten a rating of 2.8 be better

Girls are disregarded as being capable of being more than just a victim. As a result the administration disregards accusations of harassment and bullying by girls towards their male peers. Boys are left to their own defenses and if they do need to defend themselves they are swiftly punished.

The staff here, especially the principal and the 8th grade assistant principal don't really care about your child's education. They are rude and in my opinion should not be in that profession if they don't care about the well being of the children.

There is a new principal at the school now, and the whole faculty is great! My child who is currently going there is always challenged and is kept on her toes!!!

This school is the reason on why we bought our current residence in LPGA Subd. Since it has been rated an A school for years, I know that this is the school for my daughter, who is currently a 7th grade student here. So far, I have not encountered any issues. My daughter is happy and likes her teachers. She is challenged all the time, which she likes. She is taking all advanced classes.

My daughter has been a student here for 3 years. All of her teachers have been amazing, motivating, challenging, and supportive. The support staff is so friendly and Mrs. Rebecca Tozer, the school's guidance counselor, is an absolute gem and the best around!! The faculty and staff have made a positive impact in my daughter's life. Meri Albert

This school is okay, but its not the best. I'm going into 8th this year & its fine. Although, the staff is really rude. I asked the (can't say name) if i can get a"Personal item" & all they did was yell at me & tell me to bring my own when I didn't know i was on it. Plus I get picked up early a lot cause I get sick & have problems & all they do is stare at me with a rude face. But on the other hand, some teachers are nice & the kids there are really nice!
