I could not say enough about Palm Springs Middle. The teachers, staff, and administration is incredible and alsways willing to help. They have over 25 electives including AP corses and college dual enrollment. Also, they now have a farm with many animals.

I am a parent of a 6th grade student. I took a chance with this school despite reading previous reviews and I am extremely satisfied with everything it has offered my son. He has has participated in the SECME Olympia and the team placed first and second place in all the entries. The office staff is very helpful and the teachers are beyond amazing. I love this school.

I cannot recommend PSMS enough. My daughter is in 8th grade and will be getting several certifications from her coursework in the Biomedical Academy and the MOS Microsoft certificate. Her team has won several district challenges this year, which is a testament to the hard work and the change in culture at this school.

I do not believe the administrators at this school know the definition of bullying considering that all 3 have done it on various occasions, through clandestine measures.

One of the administrators holds Florida certification only for Elementary level, grades 1 thru 6, yet this school is 6 thru 8. This administrator should not be in this middle school and her behavior is consistent with not having the ability to deal with teenagers versus elementary school children. You can find this administrator by going to FLDOE.org under Educator Certification lookup.

Too much homework especially computer driven homework such as I ready (Benefits Jeb Bush company not our children) and reading +. Kids are school for 6+ hours, which is plenty of time to complete course work.

There are good teachers and bad teachers everywhere. The only reason I cannot give an accurate answer is that the administration is so poor and they do not provide good examples for the teachers to follow.

The only thing this school promotes is the school-to-prison pipeline. Be aware of the administrators and teachers with tenure at this school along with the increasing reliance on technology vs hands on teaching.

My experience at this school would be an F considering I have had 2 children attend this school, with 2 of the administrators previously described above. The question would be, knowing what I know now, would I send my children to this school and the answer would be absolutely NOT!

This Administration is the worst thing that I have seen in my life, I don't have words for to describe to Leonard Torres, Cortnye Arce and Mary Garrastazu, all of them should not be at front of a School, because all of them are Super Irresponsables.. My daughter went for Vacation to Hialeah for to stay two weeks with her mother because had not seen one another since my daughter left Cuba on August 2012 and after the two week her mother don't sent me my daughter back to Kentucky, but she could enrolled her in Palm Spring without any Legal Document and without my Consent, because she counted with the Administration's Help, this is Incredible..

The administration at this school was instituted under nepotism. The school has steadily gone down hill under the current administration. The band program has been gutted; previous "skill-born" electives have been eliminated; the cafeteria looks like a "kindergarten" but security/enforcers do not allow the students to socialize with their friends during lunch - their only free time What a shame that the students do NOT COME FIRST at this school! The administration needs to be overhauled immediately!!!!

This middle school is the best by the end of the day you walk out with a smile

One of the best schools in the county. I have been a teacher at this school for the past Thiry-Three years. I have the highest respect for the teachers, staff and administration, (past and present).

PSM is again an "A" school! Some of the most highly qualified and caring teachers make this a wonderful school!

It's the best middle school in Hialeah, with an awesome Band program, Business, Journalism, & adv/Gifted academics. The admin has changed recently, but the teachers have always cared & taught to make this school great. Highly encourage kids to attend here over other hyped private/charter schools that don't TEACH nearly as well.
