This school has to be the worst school I've ever attended ever, even if I'm a freshman the school is completely terrible. I am a New Yorker from Brooklyn, I don't speak Spanish, I've been discriminated because I don't speak Spanish. The teachers do not grade fast enough and if the parents look in the gradebook they see a late assignment and punish their child. I told the guidance counselor about this situation and she didn't do anything else but act like I wasn't there. The lunch ladies do not speak ANY English. I've experienced two incidents in this school that involved the police coming, a bomb threat, and a gas leak. This school is worse than the elementary school I went to in BROOKLYN. BROOKLYN IS A PLACE WHERE GANGS HANG OUT AND ITS BETTER THAN THIS ONE!! One teacher claims to be from the Bronx, but the Bronx is basically the only place these people know of New York. I don't believe her. The guidance counselor has an attitude when I try to open up, she acts like I'm a typical teenager ranting about useless stuff. I thank God a million times every day that I'm moving to Connecticut after this year, and never have to see this hellish place again. I absolutely do NOT recommend this school to anyone from the US. My recommendation is go to Orlando, in Orlando at least they speak better English than this place. Speaking of English, I've said I don't speak English and I got a bunch of dirty looks from the classmates. This absolutely disgusted me, knowing this school is so bad makes me want to demand them to change their name from Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan is having a bad name because of this school. Please, if any parent is reading this, DONT MAKE YOUR KID ATTEND THIS SCHOOL IF THEY'RE NOT HISPANIC!!! It is a bad idea.

For kids with disabilities I definitely recommend it... IF THEY SPEAK SPANISH!!! They don't speak a lick of English here. I have to exaggerate this because it's the number 1 problem I have here. I always try to talk to staff to find help and all I get it "me no hablos Ingles" which means "I don't speak English" in Spanish, I've been told by my mom (who is fluent in Spanish) about every cuss word in the book. The ONLY WORD these kids know in English is THE N WORD!!! I can't believe such a school like this exists... Ronald Reagan Doral High school needs to change their name, they're giving president Reagan a bad name.

As a current student in this school the food is not good and most of the time I don’t eat the entire day if I don’t front something because I have thrown up or had a stomach ache from their food. The teacher do not care about how you feel and if you upen up about it they will say “just breathe” and push you even more. Also at the moment it is really cold in Florida and they told up that if it’s cold enough they would let us bring a blanket… they took mine away. I am glad that I only have one year left and I don’t even want to see this school again.

This school is among the best in South Florida. I predict that in the near future, Ronald W. Reagan HS will be inscribed in the History of Education as an exemplary school for all its recognitions in sports, Advanced Academics, Cambridge Academy, PTSA participation/enrollment, and extremely knowledgeable teachers and effective administrators.

My son only has 1 year studying in this school, there is nothing to do at the moment, I do not understand why they rate him so low, he is in a good area and the teachers are not bad, we pay attention to his students and there are no fights absolutely. The only negative is that in 9th grade have to go to two hight school one day in this hight school and another in another further, it is absurd!

This school is like going to school in Venezuela. It seems that much of the staff cannot even speak English. How on earth can you hire people to work in a school that cannot even speak a word of English? Some great teachers, but students are entitled, spoiled and have no interest in American culture; many have never been outside of the county. I am a military student and my Dad was stationed in Miami. This city is disgusting and very unwelcoming to anyone who isn't Hispanic. I find this school and city very depressing. There is no culture and no substance here. I pray that I can graduate from some other school outside of Miami. Yuck.

Brand new to this school third day so far and I'm a senior so I'm thinking hey ill have a lot of fun. Nope I was wrong... The Hispanics here are stuck up, they even talk in their own language about you as they think you don't know Spanish for those who know it or not. Now with the teachers it's okay like any usual school but because of their Cambridge program they treat those who aren't in the program like trash, overall if you really want to go to this school I highly recommend you to join the Cambridge program for you can properly get treated and make friends

This school should be given 10 rating.I sent my elder son to this school.The teachers,Vice Principal,Staff everyone encouraged my son to improve his abilities in learning new subjects.Music teachers are wonderful.Maths,science,Critical thinking and other subject teachers are really great assets to the school.Students are very friendly and very polite.This school has lot of great talent abd gifted with great teachers.Since we were relocating to Chicago,I took him out to join in Hinsdale school.But It is this school teachers who helped a lot in every step my son took..We are very grateful to this school admin and the teachers.I am planning to take my son back to this school.

My daughter studies in this school, I never sent homework, never been meeting to report on progress of education, and quality of their education in that school is the worst of all schools studied.

Here is the sad truth concerning this school: if you are in advanced programs, such as Cambridge, you have access to an amazing education, with excellent teachers and a dedicated counselor who deals with only Cambridge students. Which is great! Exactly what every student deserves. If you are the type of good student in honors classes, you will mostly have access to good teachers as well. Some of the outstanding Cambridge teachers also teach a couple honors classes, so if you get one of those teachers, you're all set. HOWEVER. To the students perceived to be at the bottom of the learning totem pole, the absolute worst teachers are offered. I've noticed this. I had a wretched honors math teacher who literally covered only HALF of the required learning material for a year, and many students complained about this teacher, etc. The next year, who is she teaching for? She's teaching "regular" students. Students who are not so adept to learning, who need the extra help the most, in this school, are given the worst chances to succeed. This is true for all subjects and grades. And that is the sad truth. -class of 2014 student

Ronald Reagan is a great place to teach because it has wonderfcolter hers and great students. In its six years of existence it has accomplished a great many things and continues to strive for better. The administration does wonderful work given the limitations of our current government.

This school is proof that you cannot base how well a school is by its ratings. My dad got stationed here in Miami and he decided this would be a good school because it has such a good rating.. its not. I'm a military brat whose been to 9 different schools and this is the worst. Pretty much all the administration are real jerks, all they care about is academics and there schools college prep type image. The athletics are absolute garbage, they don't even have a football field or track. The school security is full of incompetent low lifes, and the lunch ladies can't even speak English. This school would probably be great for someone from south America because his is truly their environment. I guess you get a school this terrible in that real high school experience when its run by rude staff. Thank god I only had to go here for two years, but sadly I'll graduate from here. I REPEAT DO NOT DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS SCHOOL IF YOU ARE NEW TO MIAMI AND LATINO CULTURE. try a school like killian. its a real shame this school has such a good rating. So deceiving.

My son attended Ronald Reagan and was accepted on a top IVY LEAGUE school. Ronald Reagan only made him better. Thank you to all teachers.

If President Reagan were alive, he will be very proud that this school, follow his legacy, teaching to the young people and the community the importance of the hard work ... , Excellent teachers, Excellent administration, and an excellent educational enviorement for the future of this country. The food of cafeteria is not bad, and the ELL programs for people who doesn't talk english is very good, I'm very proud of being part of this wonderfull school... I'm a student

I am about to start my third year at Reagan. The school is very clean. But it is very unorganized. Some teachers care about the students, the majority dont. and this is very sad. The principal has no leadership skills whatsoever, he only cares about the FCAT. Clubs are good. The activities are very little, and only a limited amount of students can attend them. The activities director (morales) is extremely rude. I came in there once and he gives parents and mostly students an attitude. The food is all junk food. I once bought a bag of chips, and it was from 2007. The cafeteria ladies had given me chips that expired 3 years ago. I could go on and on.

Military familaries should look for another school. My two daughters go to Reagan and not happy. There is a lack of teacher focus and supplies. My daughters are not hispanic and are outcasted. My girls spent their life in Department of Defense schools. This school does not compare to that level. Many of the teachers do not pay attention during their classes and on computers. I do not recommend to military families. SOCSO J2.

The school has a very good program and that's a good thing, sadly, half of the teachers there don't even care about teaching, they just put too much emphasis on FCAT. The school offers a very good atmosphere for learning and that's something I really like but security guards and rude students make it rather a place where you wouldn't want to be. The administration started out in a very outstanding way when I came in 2007 but by 2009 it has gone downhill. I have barely heard of any college fairs lately and activities are very rare and always announced with no time ahead. Counselors have helped me very little with college related stuff. The food the cafeteria serves is awful as well. The only thing keeping the school from collapsing is the 1 or 2 good math teachers and some other caring and dedicated staff.

This school ACADEMICALLY is the most amazing school in miami dade county. Compared to other public schools in miami dade, this school is on top. Of course there are your bad apples who do not teach you correctly but most of the teachers are great and they teach us things that will be useful in everyday life. A lot of the time they overteach us but its good so that when we go to college, we will be well rounded and as educated as possible. If you live in miami dade and want your child to have the best public school experience with the best security, Ronald Reagan should be your choice.

I have lived in Doral for 3 years, and it was the most horrible experience. I stayed for my freshmen year at Ronald Reagan Senior High School. That school does not teach you well, just as my math teacher doesn't care if we (students) get it or not, they only care about getting into their goals, which is finish the book by the end of the year, which rarely does not happen. The principal, teachers, students, in overall everybody does not care about whom you are, students have really bad manners among themselves, even thou the principal pretends he can work he is just making students rebels against school, by prohibiting the usage of white sweaters, it was 32 degrees F and they did not allow students to wear their sweater because of matter of color. They try to be the best school of Florida, but they are not.

Would be good if the athletics department included all the students who want to exercise and not just the students who are going to participate in competitions. I think the idea is to promote physical activity in order to avoid the sedentarism that is the root of many health problems in our boys and girls.
