A guy did some bad stuff to me and 3 or my friends at this school. we all went to the office and made around 8 reports on the guy. none of them went in the system. the guy won an award for having ram pride at the end of the year.
this school is terrible, they hire ANYBODY. and i mean ANYBODY. they never have any teachers cause its a bad school, so theyd put the students in danger rather than pay for subs.
please, protect your kids, dont send them here.

My son graduated in 2023 from Rutherford High School as part of the IB program. He started there as a sophomore as we had relocated to the area for a military reassignment. We met all of his teachers, guidance counselors, and the principal at orientation. This was a tough transition for our son because he had always attended schools solely military kids. However, with the help of the IB secretary and the IB counselors, he later felt at home. The teachers, principal, coaches, and staff were amazing to him and our family as a whole. Rutherford High School unfairly gets a bad rep, but it is soooo much better.

My review reflects 2012, when I graduated. I wish I had so much more help and encouragement back then, otherwise I wouldn't struggle so much now. Hopefully it's better but the help from staff was non-existent back then.

Excellent school. My child graduated with the IB Diploma and has a full paid scholarship to the #1 public university in the nation per the Wall Street Journal (University of Florida).

Rutherford High School as always, has not only provided students with a great educational experience, they continue to provide a safe and secure environment. Rutherford High is actively involved in community and help nurture respect in students for their community.

I as a student love rutherford, everyone is friendly, our IB and ComTech Programs are great, ive seen so many students in IB go to big colleges such as LSU, FSU, UF etc..our athletics are great, the school does need a bit tidying up a bit but no school is perfect, yes there are a few bad crowds there but you can choose to stay away from them and the school is fine, i honestly don't think there is a better school in bay county with an academic program like them, outside of IB is average, average students making average grades just trying to pass, most things people hear are rumors other than that rutherford is a great school with great caring staff, anyone would fit in at this school.
