My two children recently were enrolled and I had to pull them both out. The first was getting physically bullied because he is white. The second has been struggling with mental health and ADHD. She is getting little to no support on either. She also had a cyber bully incident occur and instead of seeing her as a victim, the assistant principle labeled her as a contributor. Most recently she was suspended for not having shoes to dress code. But this was a pretext for tardiness. This not only confusing but also the underlying reason she is struggling. So we give up on Goleman.

They removed my son from the school magnet program without a valid reason and they lied about the reason why. The principal has no empathy or regard for the students education.

In my experience with this school, unfortunately, there's a lot of racial tension and disrespect going on. Especially in reference, to supporting staff and in reference to their school security guards And how they speak to the children in the school. They are very aggressive and rude. Not everyone speaks Spanish at the school. So when interacting and words are being used in spanish, that are derogatory, it makes you wonder.

This school is an "A-rated" school and is now ALL magnet. It is not a feeder school anymore. Your child must apply and be accepted. It has a safe learning environment in a safe neighborhood. Nice student body and great teachers. I have no complaints.

The Office needs major improvement, they can be extremely rude to students and most of the times refuse to help them and later get upset and complain to each other when students bring their parents in to help them get the help they couldn't get on their own. Some teachers do not teach at all and it feels like a waste of an hour when you get to their class.

The teachers work very hard at this school. If your child is motivated they will do just fine.

as a parent of a senior. I am very disappointed at the Cap Advisor and her lack of interaction with the students. I try to contact her all the time and she never returns my calls.
