The teachers are amazing, they help in anyway they can. But the management is horrible. I worked here, and was always accused of stuff that was not factual and when I went to defend myself I was interrupted on multiple occasions. The workers paychecks have bounced several times. They pick favorites of who can do what, and have teachers pulling 11 hour shifts with only an hour break.

The teachers pay very close attention to the children’s needs and wants. They notice when a child is truly distressed or just trying to get attention.

Headstrong leaders that are swayed by every parent complaint. They aren’t people pleasers which I know bothers some parents but they do what’s best for majority.

Homework is applied at all ages. Based on the age level. None of it is mandatory yet is great practice for the kids at home. Especially if they have older siblings doing homework and want some of their own.

My grandkids were in pre school or a voluntary pre kindergarten (VPK) program. I can tell you that my grandson graduated from the VPK program and skipped kindergarten. He is now 8 years old in 4th grade, and is one of the youngest, if not the youngest in his class. He has never been below an A/B grade point average since he has been in elementary public school. I credit his JFK experience, and parental guidance for his success so far.

The teachers that my grandkids have been assigned to have been excellent. Some are no longer there, but I am keeping my eyes and ears open for success.

I see kids from almost every background that get along with each other and play very well together at this tender age of growth. It reinforces the point that children are not born racist, but learn the behavior at home regardless of ethnicity.

My grandson has told me that when he was scratched, pushed and/or treated unfairly by another 3 year old, the kid was, what I considered appropriately disciplined.

I have always been treated with respect. I have had a now 8 year old, a set of now 7 year old twins, and a now 6 year old niece that went through this school. I now have a 3 year old that I thought would cry every day because he did not want to go, but he whines and cries to go earlier than his scheduled time. He absolutely loves this school!! I give a lot of the credit to his teacher who had all but the 8 year old.

Not at all truly caring, bad attitudes and high prices for an old center and poor diet choices for children corn beef hash is number one meal. will often pick up your child with bruises and staff will lie to your face.

Main Street ...Just for kids have been a part of my family for over 10 years. I couldn't have asked for better extended family. Great team with Big Hearts! Thanks for all that you do. Christine Payne

Our child loved going to Just for Kids Learning Center. From the staff to the teachers, everyone is a pleasure to deal with. The teachers really take a personal interest in the children and it shows through the work they bring home each day. Awesome childcare. Highly recommended. We really loved having my son at JFK - we wish we could keep him there for 1st grade, but they aren't offering it next year. The teachers have been phenomenal. The admin is a little difficult at times, but our interaction with them is minimal - it's the teachers that make the difference.
