I had to complete an anti-bullying form as a result of my child facing racism from other students, but unfortunately, they were not treated seriously, and no action was taken. This marks the fourth instance of bullying, and it feels like the school merely pretends to care. To my dismay, I received another call today regarding an incident involving my daughter. She has attended multiple schools without encountering such problems before. I've never witnessed a school downplaying racism the way this one has. I am no longer willing to provide them with chances to address this issue, and I feel compelled to publicly express my dissatisfaction. It's essential for parents to consider alternative options for their children. I am committed to pursuing this matter further with the board of education.

Principle Wright is always engaging with students in the afternoons and Mr. Parris can be seen greeting students in the morning.

Overall, I love the small community feeling. Each teacher will greet you, teachers learn other students who not in their classes, and the closeness of facility makes the school feel like a family.

All the teachers at this school have the students best interest. Some come off tough but it’s because some students need tough love.

Please take not that all but one of these reviews are from years ago. My child went to this school last school year, 2012-2013, and was in the ESE PI class with Mrs. Jones and I heard on many occasions that she just had two years left and was on her way out. I suppose her diligence and care for the children went out the door somewhere between her last great review and last year as maybe she is tired. All I saw her do was sit down, eat, and yell at the children, who were mostly non verbal disbaled kids. This school hit the news several times last year for staff abusing the kids and the school is a D rated school. Parents do your homework and ask other parents.

I have to say that I'm not happy with this school this year, my daughter who is in the first grade has not have one spelling test yet, her teacher still haven't send us any class work for us to view at home for us to see any improvement, when I asked her teacher how she is doing in class she tells me that she needs to look at her notes which I find it disturbed because her teacher should be able to know a little something about all her students that she spend time with every day

This is really a good school. I like this school. Teachers are hard working, kind and devoted.

I like the special needs program wish it could do more for those kids. Its a okay school.
