honestly, don't send your kids to this school if you want them to learn anything. most of the things you learn, you already did in middle school. and some teachers give petty things for you to do. this one science teacher i have won't grade anything from my journal since it's not a gray journal. she even grades things when she feels like it instead of when the deadline hits. she even complains to the students about the class it yet tries nothing to fix it and says "i'm done teaching you." and leaves the kids confused and lost. she just gives piles of work to everyone without any explanation and is overall disrespectful. literally everything here you already learned and they won't teach you how to use cards, email, do taxes, buy land, look for a job, and sign up for a big business. just don't go here.

They are not “inclusion” supportive!!! We discussed during an IEP but they were against it

Terrible — I was accepted at UGA and struggled because I had no foundation— the teachers were awful.

The school is majority population low income, students are learning below average but the teachers are great. If you have a kid that is advanced this would not be the school for them. The girls dress way to sexy and boys love it. The kids they mix in to try to make the school diverse turn out being just like the kids on lower income. Not a good school academic wise.

So far I am pleased with the staff, and as a parent faith in the staff is very important. Mrs. Edwards is a no nonsense lady, if you think the children are going to walk in her office and play games, think again. She works diligently to help the kids and parents. Mrs. Whitehouse is also very concerned with students education, and future. She took time for us, with a full schedule an testing. I had a couple of days in office to get everything needed for enrollment , while there I observed the staff and students, it wasn't only my child they gave 100% to, new enrollees , current students and parents had the staffs attention and time. I also am pleased to say the students are also very friendly, courteous, and respectful to students, parents and staff. I think it's important to show appreciation and acknowledgement to our children's ,teachers, counselors, aides, translators, and all the staff at the schools are all important and a part of their education and future..... so in closing, with staff and students I witnessed I'm confident in my child's education and well being while in school. Go Englewood Rams... A Parent backing up the staff as well as students. *********

my school is fun and that mostly depends on who you know. like if you make the right friends and you know the right people you will have a good time. and surprising when first attended i thought the kids were going to be rude and mean and dump us in trash cans but I was wrong. Most of the time they are friendly and they are curious about you like you are curious about them.

A very good school it has turned around a lot in the past few years and improved in academics and is trying to achieve a higher academic proceed.

So far so good for Englewood. The office staff was very professional when my daughter and I went the check into registering with them and it seemed like they had control over what the students were or were not doing. Just remember this was our first time there and she will be a freshman this year so we shall see what the rest of the school year brings.

I attended this school, didnt enjoy the majority of the students but my guidance counselor was amazing and she still helps me out with everything .It was difficult for me to imagine college with my financial situation but she helped me get scholarships to pay for my college and I am SO thankful. She went above and beyond to ensure I would have a good future. And I am so happy that there was an angel in that school and she chose to watch over me.

it is 2012 and i've been at this school sense 2010. this school is very laid back. there is not a lot of violence or whatever. as far as teachers and staff they are good people. they be so busy to the point where it take a while to get in touch with counselors etc. the only thing this school lack is motivational events to prep kids up to want to be involved in the school. i've been making descent grades sense i've been her though.

This school was terrible. I attended it for ONE day before telling my parents I could not go there. I could see my education going down the toilet. The math teacher (for 11th grade-algebra 2) was teaching material I remember learning in middle school. They teach to the test, and the tests test to the dumbest. I remember one teacher sitting at his desk the entire class period reading the news paper. The environment was scary, I was scared for my safety. This school is a holding cell for kids before they turn 18 and can be thrown into jail. The staff is (mostly-there was one counselor I was very thankful for) unhelpful and uncaring. I was greatly disappointed, because I was very excited for the "oh-so diverse" atmosphere I had heard about. Although it IS diverse, it is not worth ruining your future to go here, though I know there are not other options for some people, and for that I am sorry.

I graduated in 2003. Englewood was a great school back then, but I am sad to say that since I've graduated the feedback I've gotten about the school suggests that it has gone downhill very fast in the last 8 years. What a shame. We used to have great professors and the student body was pretty good. The administration was very caring for the students, though I've heard from current students that is no longer the case. There are still a few teachers and administrators from my era, but most have moved on and it seems like the ones they have been replaced with are horrendous.
