The worst school I've ever had to deal with. The principal has a terrible attitude. When you have an issue instead of solutions she immediately gets defensive and makes excuses. There are a couple truly wonderful teachers but most of them seem to enjoy the the other teachers but hate to actually deal with the students. If you're child requires any extra help you won't get it here.

This school is one of the WORST schools my child has ever been to. First off, the front office staff always have snarky attitudes and they're also very disrespectful to the students. The new vice principal is awful! She does not care about the kids nor their families. She is just there to collect her check. This school does not accurately support special needs students, most special needs students are neglected. The gifted program is a joke, how can you possibly measure somebody's "creativeness"? This school does not take bullying serious until the bullied student takes actions into their own hands. then the bully is the victim. This school promotes violence, and kids are encouraged to fight on the bus and nothing is done about it. 4th and 5th graders are also lined up like PRISONERS just to use the bathroom. These children have no freedom and you wonder why kids are not happy or excited to come to school. These teachers are also always yelling at students and belittling them. The school itself is FILTHY and only ever properly cleans up when there is an event (fall festival, school dance, etc) Children are not allowed to talk during lunch and if they do they are moved away to a "silent lunch table" by their self. The bathrooms are also the worst! Pee all on the floor and poop smeared on the wall. These children have to be in an inhumane environment and they are wondering why children are not happy to be at school. Teachers don't teach students anything at this school instead they watch youtube videos and once they are done watching videos they are allowed to have free time (which is just playing on an iPad) the videos are 5-10 minutes long and after watching the videos the children are allowed to stay on the iPad the rest of the class (which is usually 50 minutes) Teachers also play secular music in the classroom while students are doing work. I AM SO GRATEFUL MY CHILD WILL NEVER ATTEND THIS TRASH SCHOOL AGAIN! TCE DO BETTER THIS IS SHAMEFUL.

Kids are currently out for the rest of the year due to coronavirus, but the staff at TCE has gone above and beyond to switch to digital learning and stay connected to the kids. We pick up lunch every day through their “drive through” and the office and kitchen staff are out there handing out meals and greeting each vehicle as we drive up. They cheer and wave for the kids and it has become the bright spot in my kids’ day to come and see the TCE group and pick up “school lunch.” TCE has got fantastic staff!

My child’s teacher has gone out of her way to create a space inside the classroom in which my easily distracted kiddo can be kept a close eye on but not feel like she is being ostracized from the rest of the class. Her teacher has gone above and beyond for her and I’ll be forever grateful! Thank you, Mrs Swindell!

Our son is in kindergarten for the 2016-2017 school year. Yes the year is not over yet, it's Jan 12, 2017 right now. But I am NOT happy with this school. They watch movies (full Disney movies) at least twice a week, sometimes 3 in one day. The special teachers (computer class) is never there on my son's class day, so again they watch a movie. When it's cold outside, they watch a full Disney movie (I thought recess was like 30min-not long enough to finish a movie) Then homework they Send home is nothing. They send sight words for the parents to teach the children then they get graded on them. Yet the students do not go over the words in class. Gym class is made of laying on the ground doing test. Teachers use YouTube Videos (the white board) for teaching, they just play them and let the children watch. ((WHY HAVE A TEACHER AT ALL THEN?))
I'm sure I'm missing something, but that's my input.

I am really upset with this school. My daughter goes to this school and she was slapped on the playground by a little boy. I would of never knew about the situation if my daughter would of never told me because her teacher never even tried to call me nor inform me of the situation!! I called the school house the same day to speak with her and asked her what happened with the situation of my daughter being slapped and that's when she said she would of never knew if my daughter would of never told her when they made it back in the class!! Ok I understand that but you still should have called me because what if it was something emergency wise and you not reporting it would of landed it back on you. I asked her how was the situation take resolved and she was like I can't tell you that but just know it was resolved I was like well I'm coming out their in their morning just to make sure it was resolved to ensure that my child is safe at this school and to make sure it won't happen again and she had the nerve to laugh on the phone and tell me I can't just come up here without making an appointment!! That really upset me because as a teacher you suppose to care and show sympathy and apologize but she actually laughed at the situation of a student being slapped and a mother that's concerned!! I repeated myself to her just to let her know that I will be up their in the morning and I told her thank you and have a nice day!! I went up their the next morning because one of the office workers told me to come at that time but I didn't get to speak to the principal because she said that she was about to start interviews but I don't understand because when I got their she was walking around and I'm pretty sure that a child health is more important than an interview because the student should be their main focus and I'm pretty sure it would of never took no more than ten minutes to inform her of my situation!! So she told me to come back that afternoon!! So I go back that afternoon to pick my daughter up and she still couldn't talk to me and She said come back in the morning because they was behind because of the storm. She seemed like a nice person but I felt like she was very unprofessional to me as a concerned mother and something that happened to my daughter while she was under their care.

We love Taylor's Creek!!! Being a military family this is our children's third elementary school and despite the frequent changes in their life, they have excelled. Great teachers and caring staff make my children love going to school. Couldn't have asked for any better.

The teachers at this school do an amazing job with their students. My grandson has excelled from kindergarten into first grade. Kudos to all!

Great school with Great teachers. I had child that went there from Kindergarten through 5th grade and now have another child there. Very caring place.

This school is phenomenal! The teachers care, the principal knows each child and whats going on in the school, and they love school events. Just to keep it real - school has all about state testing, thats where schools get there funding these days. This school serious about preparing the kids for those test and finding out they learn best. Ya can't get around it, all public school focus on testing. My son excelled at this school for the first time ever, because they teacher went above and beyond to teach "HIM" instead of a class of 20(+). As a result he did very well on testing and had a lot of fun learning!

My child attended this school one year too long. The ONLY thing TCE cares about is state testing. Forget caring about and truly developing the children. And the principal is totally useless in responding adequately to parent concerns. I am so glad that my child will not be subjected to this school another year. Completely sub par!

Taylor's Creek was a disappointment. Many of the teachers have their children enrolled at the school and in the same class. I think this is a definite conflict of interest and favoritism was obvious. My child definitely felt discriminated against. The discipline was way too severe. The CRCT testing seemed to be the top priority leaving no room for any creativity. Parents are not encouraged to get involved. No PTA.

We miss Taylors Creek! My daughter went there for Kindergarten, but toward the end of the year, we got orders elsewhere, and as if it weren't obvious enough before, the public schools at our new post have shown us just how good we had it at TCE. My daughter has learning disabilities and a speech delay, and was in the IEP class, which we thought was outstanding. She was really succeeding there, and we were thrilled with the quality of instruction. Our family was treated great on the whole. We were happy at TCE. At our new post, in order to get a comparable quality of instruction to what we got for free at TCE, we have to pay for it at private school. TCE is a gem. If we ever got stationed back at Stewart, we'd send our kids there, no question.
