This school is a complete nightmare. It's more of a prison than an actual school and just being here feels very, very unsafe. The teacher don't really care about how the students are, the admin aren't very caring of how the students are doing and care more about phones.

For the past 2 years, my child has had the BEST suppport system! The communication between the staff, teachers and support team is awesome!

The current principal Frazier is an absolute DOLL!! And we love her so much!! If something needs to get done, it’s getting done! If you need to speak with her, you’ll be speaking with her.

Teachers are very accommodating and look to help those kiddos with IEPs. There’s only one teacher we have had a horrible experience with. But there’s always that one bad apple huh.

Overall, We have no complaints. We are happy and so is my child.

I went to this school all 4 years of high school along with my 3 sisters. Coming from a military household, this was the greatest school and district I’ve attended. You can not blame a school for your child’s own actions and your horrible parenting. 10/10 would send my future kids here.

As a single parent, I hoped the guidance department and school administrators would help me with my son, when I asked. They did just the opposite, and enabled him to sabotage himself. My son was headed for college with a GPA high enough for the best scholarship opportunities in the state of GA, until Senior year when he connected with the wrong crowd. I reached out to the Guidance department, then the Principal, and then several of his teachers and received no help whatsoever. Now my son is barely going to graduate.

LCHS is getting a bad reputation on here. Sadly, most people don't post anything until they aren't satisfied. While it is very sad to hear about the child with special needs, I can only comment on my experiences. However, what about all the things that are done right. I have a student at the school and I must say as long as I stay involve the teachers involve me. Sometimes I'd like more contact but at the same time I know my role as the parent. Just recently they had a homework night to help parents learn to help kids with homework. When I want to schedule a conference, it's no problem. As far as uniforms, there are some kinks in the system but I just try to make sure my child meets the dress code policy. LCHS isn't perfect but if you look through a already dirty lens you won't see a clear picture.

This school is not equipt to deal with children who have special needs. It is unsafe and they will do nothing to protect your child from threats and assault. I'm really shocked at how subpar this school is. You might as well send your children to prison.

I hate that its ok for one student to wear pretty much any kind of uniform especially short shorts or skirts but my daughter gets told that her black shirt is blue. And also this school has no patience for students who need special attention of extra help they make them go to another student and that embarrasses them, whY are you getting paid for! Concerned parent

My daughter is a freshman and so far I am not impresses with the teaching staff. Certain teachers have failed to respond to my correspondence. The guidence couselors seems to be helpful. On the subject of uniforms, there is to much emphisis put on them. Is it really necessary to give ISS for a forgotten belt or wrong color socks or a notebook in a purse? Why isn't more emphisis on academics instead of silly issues like socks, belts, and a forgotten ID.

My son went here for 1 year and hated it.. Certain teachers are pushing there personal opinions on the students and NOT teaching whats IN THE BOOKS! So.. per my sons request,he is attending another school . I really dont want some butch femnazi pushing her views on communism.. and another teacher preaching about Sharia-Law and praising Ala.. NO THANK YOU.. Also.. if your child is white.. send them to long county. The staff is rude and yes there is alot of favoritism shown here.. He will never return to this school.. EVER!

I agree the band dose not recieve equal funds which are essential to the excellent and growing experience! We are just as important as the football team and the basketball team! Also, favortism is shown often, we werent even congratulated on our 1st place at a recent comppettion but they can sure announce other sports achievements. If you didnt know marching band and band is a sport!
