The Current principal shows a deep nepotism toward the teachers and will not effectively resolve the situation or disagreement. He seriously needs to realize that people have a lot of faults with them and those thoughts should either be dealt with or suppressed when at the job. You can be friends with someone but to defend them when they are wrong, is not helpful. I feel the principal has some backwards beliefs himself and feels he is right about what he and his associates believe in and need to reflect on where they are and the bigger picture of humanity.

I the administration doesnt deal with their teachers when they are wrong, then they cannot deal with peer to peer bullying.

My son in the 6th grade had a teacher that said the people in the region were "All nuts". Then in the 7th grade another teacher asked if it was ok to play "christian music". The teachers in the school are good at their jobs, but some of them carry along with them some beliefs that should be left at the door, at home or their rallies. And the principal shows nepotism and disbelief when confronted with the teachers wrongs. So if you have a complant about oen of them it WILL fall on death ears.

The teachers are good at their job, even though they have a lot of bigoted & "old fashion" beliefs, they do their job. I have tried to work with the principal but he is very stubborn, has a nepotism for the teachers who ar his "friends" and the new receptionist is very, very rude and was the last straw. My son has autism and needed a doctors appointment for his meidcation. The receptionist called us and told us his absence would not be excused because of the time of day it was. So i decided to take both of my children out of school because if they have serious appointments, even with a doctors note it won't be excused? I talked to the superintendent and he said the absence should have been excused He also assured me that the school would mail me back 34 dollars they owed me, but i was only mailed 10.

the superintendent was nice, but the middleschool needs to "air out and clean up" some of its ways and I do not trust they will. Hopefully i do not have to deal with these people in the future.

Not the wrost, but the school has limited resources also and the community, including some of the teachers really seem closed minded and set in their ways.

If you are looking for a school that values individually, difference nof opinion and equality then this is not your place.

It is a very conservative area and some of the staff spew their conservative rhetoric to the children. Equality is very limited.

The principal is friends with one or more of the teachers. When I had a complaint about the teacher he went on to speak of personal things retaining to the said teachers family and background which has nothing to do with the school. I feel he will not disapline the teacher(s) because of his personal relationships with them outside of school grounds.
