The principal and assistant principal are terrible. No leadership or ownership. No guidance. Nothing for the kids to look forward to. Its like the kids are in prison. Its more like an alternative school with animals. I wouldnt recommend this school at all

My son has only been at this school 4 weeks and as a parent I have had to reach out to teachers every week. Hopefully by the time Im done going to the school system changes will be made. I do however want to say that the lady in the front office has always been pleasant.

This is my son first year at this school, and I am not impressed. there are no weekly newsletter's to keep parents posted on what to look for with what is being taught in class and whats coming home for homework. They dont even utilize agendas to keep students on tract. I have been to NC, and SC schools and this is by far the worse.

I do not want to speak for all teacher's but my son is in the third grade. I honestly feel that he may be being bullied by the teachers. This is the first month of school and although my son has good behavior every week it is something. On top of that my son worked hard earned a ticket to an outing that the school was having, and was forced to stay back with kids that didn't earn it simply because of not having a piece of paper, that didn't have instructions to bring back. As adults I feel that beats a child self esteem. My son was so discouraged. Makes you not even want to try. This for me was not cool. But based on the previous review this seems to be a trend at this school. But it will stop with me.

My child has an excellent teacher. He is receiving a good challenging education in Pre-K. Staying involved as a parent makes all the difference.
